I can’t say enough good things about Ms. Williams and her amazing team of women. I had a scary ex who had walked all over me in the state we lived before and my previous lawyers did not have my back and had written up horrible orders that gave my ex the ability to mess with my daughters life to try and hurt me. Ms. Williams nipped that right in the butt and got us new orders written up that protected me and my daughter. On top of that she was able to finally put him in his place and get us tie breaker. Something we have never been able to have in my daughter’s entire life. My previous lawyer I had to baby sit and I had to fight for my daughter in court while this lawyer stood by and watched my cry. my experience with Ms. Williams was the complete opposite. She had my back the entire time and I am eternally grateful and will contact her if we ever need her again.

Candace is the best of the best! When she took on my case, her and her team spent countless hours and late nights on my case. It was a mess. She cleaned it up and won our case in court. Robby provided excellent service. He was able to do what he said he will do. He was able to resolve the issues without us going to court. More importantly he didn’t go over his asking retainer which is very unusual with attorneys. In fact he refunded the in unused retainer.

I called in about four to five weeks ago and spoke with a Cassandra in reference to the loss of function in my great toe due to a doctors negligence. Cassandra laughed at me when I explained to her my situation, Cassandra also explained to me that it’s “all about money” when it comes to the business. A few days after I posted my review on Google Mr.Malone reached out to me condemning her actions and explaining to me how it works, and essentially it is about the money because it can cost almost 500k to get your case started. After talking with him I removed my review from google because he seemed sincere. However I just want someone to understand for me it’s the principle and not about the money. I sent all my records over to Mr.Malone around 06/04/2024 and sent an email on 06/22/2024 for an update. Mr.Malone informed me that he would look over my files and get back with me in about a week and if he couldnt help he would refer me to someone who possibly would be able to. I have not heard back, and I’m done, basically if you didn’t lose a limb your case will not be taken seriously and the doctor can do anything to you with no consequences. It’s really sad that everytime I’ve needed a workplace enviorment lawyer or a negligence lawyer this is the energy I have gotten. If you only signed up for the more lucrative cases you’re already doing it wrong. I’m just going to leave this firm to itself. I am leaving my review up and cutting contact. Hopefully I can find someone who is willing to do it for the right reasons. This has been very traumatic for me and I just want someone that is doing it for the right reasons.

When I finally made the decision to divorce my husband after almost 25 years, I was an emotionally abused woman who no longer resembled the professional woman I had once been. My ex-husband controlled all the finances and I didn't know where to start. I asked some highly regarded Professionals in the Atlanta area and was given his name repeatedly. Peter listened to me but then got around to focusing on what was and wasn't important for my case. He always responded in a timely matter and went above and beyond while also instilling confidence me that everything was going to be ok. HE was better than ok. He is to the point but also very empathetic. He did a wonderful job in getting me the settlement I didn't realize I could ever get. I can not recommend Peter enough. I have had not so great experiences in the past with attorneys in my divorce/custody case. Kimi was as breath of fresh air. She was very communicative and answered all of my questions. This is seemingly so simple but apparently other attorneys have issues with this. We were able to get everything signed and in motion extremely quickly. I highly recommend Kimi and will use her again should I need anything else with family law.

Disgusted to say the least... I had an appointment with Ms Walls today. When the appointed time past with no call, no show, I politely reached out to her. Only to be curtly told via text: "I forgot/are you available another time"?.... Excuse me?....
The lack of professionalism and rudeness in that response was next level and shocking! No apology what so ever, no proper greeting, just a curt: "I forgot". 🚩🚩🚩

Ms. Williams and her team are absolutely exceptional! I needed her expertise due to my failure to disclose a juvenile matter. A matter in which I was told I didn’t need to from the counsel of a previous lawyer who worked that case many years ago. Ms. Williams understands the board on a level that many others do not. After my initial consultation, she went straight to work to construct an outstanding letter of explanation. I’m Kai... This Review is about Michael Schlifka and Lisa Jackson, both who ended up being heaven sent angels in my life! Michael and Lisa are two of the most supportive, heart felt, hard working, determined, people I’ve ever met.. Im blessed Michael was my divorce attorney, and that Lisa was the paralegal over my divorce case.. They were an AWESOME team over my case, my divorce was everything BUT pretty. My ex wife and I have 2 kids together, my ex demanded the divorce but was being very difficult with the kids. It had even got to the point where I was set up by my ex, and my character was assassinated by my ex. To try to obtain full custody of the kids.
Through it ALL Michael stayed by my side, and fought for me and my kids diligently and affectively. Michaels sense of compassion but ability to be firm when need be is on point! Michael really knows his stuff, and fought for me tooth and nail! He did not give up on me or my case, he showed up to every court date, every hearing, and fought so hard for me. Sometimes I sit back, and thank god for bringing Michael and Lisa into my life. And putting Michael as my attorney over my divorce.. When I began my divorce, I knew nothing about divorce. Was highly hurt and emotional. Heartbroken is an understatement..
I googled divorce attorneys, not knowing where to start. I came across Meriwether and Tharpe, got put in touch with Michael Schlifka. And the rest is history.. Michael always kept my kids and I best interest in mind, and never gave up on my case. My divorce was LONG and drawn out, but he stayed by my side. Michael was kind and compassionate about my terrible situation. My divorce was very unpleasant. He worked with me (and my ex-husband) to get to a very specific parenting plan and next 8 or 9 years plan. We agreed to co-parent 50/50 and maintain the "homestead" 50/50 until the last child graduates but MAN it was hard to get to that point. All the anger - he worked with me and often times I took out my anger on he and his team of paralegals (who were all wonderful!). He never had any anger back, mostly just some humor. He understood me. He took time to understand the unreasonable situation I was in and worked hard to get a great settlement. We didn't even have to go to court! Thanks so much Michael Schlifka!

I hired Johnny Ramirez Castaneda to handle the eviction of a non-paying tenant who had become a nuisance to other tenants and neighbors. Despite the tenant failing to appear in court, Johnny Ramirez Castaneda failed to follow up with the marshals after receiving payment from me. For nearly two months, I repeatedly tried to contact him, but my calls and messages were ignored.
When I finally reached him, he claimed that I hadn’t paid for follow-up services—a charge that was never communicated to me. To resolve the issue, I had to contact the marshal's office myself, only to learn that the paperwork had been sitting on their desk for two months due to Johnny Ramirez Castaneda’s inaction. Once I took over, the issue was resolved within two weeks.
Johnny Ramirez Castaneda demonstrated a lack of professionalism and disregard for clients. I would not recommend his services to anyone seeking legal help.

Very Raciest company.... I was appointed to them and they treated me like bad New!!!!! I was insulted because I have a heavy voice, they laughed and said I was yelling then told me I didn't have a case. I was hit in 2022 I have Mri before the accident to prove my arthritis was not in my hand. After the accident my body start taking a toll with arthritis and start affecting my hand which was on steering wheel and window when I was rear-end. I had previously had a reading in my spine that said arthritis but Never in My hand . They offered injections but I said why treat only my hand when it's my whole body, they said only your hand was part of the accident. So I stopped due to my other health issues.... when I mentioned that the accident caused my underline health to arise this lawyer laughed!!!! I m not ok!!! My hand was fine before the rear-end!!!! White verses black.... not ok

We tried to contact two other law firms to assist a dear your friend of ours to get support for unpaid child support. We found that discussions with 2 other law firms seemed either non-responsive or in one case, not very well organized. We are new to the Ellijay area, being from Tampa Bay and never have had difficulties in professional legal support. We just gave up for 2 weeks, but our single mom friend still needed to recover over-due child support unpaid for over 10 months. We then contact Brown Dutton and Crider and spoke with an assistant named Joanne Taylor. We were able to get exactly what we needed, instructions by for how to do to organize for legal support by email within an hour. Just, plain easy. The way it should be with a professional agency.

Retained this law firm for a custody issue and initially I thought that I had found "the firm/lawyer". From the intake to the first few conversations I felt that I had not only found a firm that I could trust but someone that understood but little did I know I was making a horrendous financial decision. While I was told from the beginning that my case would take some time the issue did not lie there it was specifically the spending of $21k+ and never stepped foot in a courtroom, nor have any mediation, and simply my situation remains the same . When I would ask questions I was made to feel as if I should not be asking them being that I was told certain things could/could not occur as it related to my case from the beginning. My point to the firm and lawyer(s) is the money that I am spending, and the case is/or was not moving was beyond frustrating. To add wit, when I asked for an agreement to just be typed vice being represented, I was given a quote of $2500 to draft a custody agreement outside of the monies that I had already spent with this firm. Needless, to say I requested that they remove themselves from the case and guess what? Invoices continued to roll in, in which I paid. I received a closure letter from this firm on 07/21/2024 and received an invoice today 07/24/2024 smh. While I cannot take away how they may have helped others that simply did not occur with me. My dealings with this firm has left a bad taste in my mouth as it pertains to lawyers and will most certainly make me think three times about hiring any other lawyer. I cannot and would not recommend this firm to anyone based off what I experienced.

Again understanding that I resided 3+ hours away from the other party was told from the jump while respecting the client attorney privilege I'm not going to go in great detail however, this review was to give my experience and leave a review based off such. As stated you all may have helped others however, my experience was not such. To respond as if it was my fault that I spent the whooping amount with this firm affirms why I feel the way I do. I hope that this review allows others to weigh their options thoroughly and consider all reviews whether positive or negative when choosing legal representation
