My divorce was harrowing, and Jordan Young kept me afloat.
I was part of a very nasty divorce, and really thought I was going to lose time with my daughters, but Jordan stepped up and helped me not only survive, but eventually win more time with the kids.
She was able to understand the emotional complexities of divorce, but also didn't mince words about what would or wouldn't hold water in court. It was honestly a fantastic balance of accurate legal consultation and emotional support, which as I understand it with many attorneys is a rare combination.
She also didn't stand for any of the nonsense my ex tried to pull, and was the first to speak up when something was trending in an unreasonable direction.
I had a less-than-useless attorney prior, and got metaphorically disemboweled by the enormous bills, especially since no progress was made. I hired Jordan, and because her billing is always fair and justified, I was able to financially weather the storm as well. I NEVER got a bill that didn't make sense.
You truly couldn't ask for a more capable or helpful attorney to see you through the often ugly divorce process.

Jordan really listens to her clients and understands the emotions that come with being in family court. She always took the time to allow me to vent, before explaining what the options were legally. She cares for the children in these cases, she aligns with what is in the best interest of the child. Ms. Pratt immediately upon receiving my case acquired all the standard time I was to be alloted with children that previous representation never acknowledged. Ms. Pratt only contacted me necessarily. I didn't realize this at first, however it let me know she's not just trying to run up a bill. She is well informed of the law and was strategically aware on how to pursue my desired outcome. Although life's issues were taking place in her world she never dropped the ball on the most important thing in mine. The end result was fair for both parents and kids. Definitely recommend her services.

During the bank fraud forclosures in 2010. He assisted me to stay in my forclosed home for 5 years, to recover some of the financial loss I incured when the bank kept my escrow money through the forclosure process. Sharon helped me through a very difficult and long separation and divorce. She was honest and direct and because of her years of experience was able to advise me no matter what arose. Sharon was referred to me by a good friend. After meeting with 3 other lawyers for consultations it was a breath of fresh air to meet Sharon. She simplified everything in terms I can understand. Sandy may handle a lot of cases as other lawyers do, but unlike those other lawyers, she will actually pay attention to and remember the details of your case. She is also really good at math and with financials. If a family lawyer isn’t good at those things, it can dramatically increase the costs of a divorce in a way that can affect you for years.

At our free consult, he ran a check on my name and found out my husband had tried to file on me out of state but it was dismissed. We used Stephanie on two occasions. Initially, we hired Stephanie Ames to do an adoption for my husband and I. As with many family cases, it can be an emotional roller coaster. Since this was our first adoption experience we had many concerns, questions, and fears. From the beginning we were given advice, straight forward,and most importantly correct information. Not only was she there for us as parents, she was an advocate for our daughter.

I used Mary Katherine In 2010 and since then have had to use her on and off for a coulpe things after my divorce. She was wonderful to work with and always did what she said. She understands this is a difficult time even after the final divorce and walks me through what I need to do. After a reference from a local PD social worker, I was sent to Figiel Law after a horrible experience in court with my initial retained counsel in my contested divorce.
While granular details will not be provided in this review, the circumstances that triggered an email for help came from the place of pure desperation during one of my many sleepless nights.
My email must have validated my anxiety and fear from the events that unfolded in the weeks prior with the previous divorce attorney as Lucas called me first thing next morning, 6:30am to try and put me at ease and determine if Figiel Law could provide support. He spent nearly forty minutes on the phone with me and upon initial discussion felt Figiel Law could help me out of my situation (one that felt helpless from where I sat).
They scheduled me into the office immediately after I retained them as counsel and I quickly sent all my files over for review. At my first visit, not long after the prescreening callback, the firm made me felt like this is exactly where I should be!
Nicholas read all my files in great detail so that upon our meeting, he already had some strategies, asked several questions and provided a roadmap of activities for us to spend our time and focus in order to counter back against opposing counsel with their lies presented in an emergency motion to the court.
All this from our first meeting!
Nicholas quickly drafted the top priorities for my settlement agreement and set appropriate expectations for the various possible outcomes. This was a good strategy as he also armed me with information about custody and parental laws; this was never shared by my previous counsel.
The reason I bother to share this, is that I never realized that I should have really spent more time on hiring and qualifying my divorce attorney as if they were my defending me for my life. As it turns out, contested divorce is really ugly and can turn your life upside down quickly, especially when trying to escape a domestically turbulent situation.
I am extremely grateful I had Figiel Law on my team and because of their support the outcome was in my favor! I am now happy, thriving and healing as I raise my child in our home in peace and tranquility.

Arnie is excellent, understanding and always did what was best for me, whether I knew it or not at the time.
