To take it to the most basic of civil rights and laws no one with a TBI should ever represent themselves in a United States courtroom for any reason. And every senor court officer such as Support Magistrate John Raimondi should know that. I believe they are running a criminal enterprise and I wonder how many hundreds if not thousands of people Mr. Raimondi and the Suffolk County court system as scammed this way. And continue to scam to this day.

Ms hunt represented me for a time before for technical reasons we had to part paths. I'm dealing with a difficult family court case that she was with me for for a few months. I had submitted evidence to her that showed that the statement against me was false, but the device I had it recorded on was stolen. I contacted her as a final hope and she responded with in a few days with the evidence! This may seem like a random review but my time spent with Elizabeth was very positive! I have bad anxiety and Elizabeth helped me through every step, reminding me that I was innocent and to stay the course! I would recommend her to everyone!

Complete neglect.
During my divorce proceedings, she repeatedly told me that it was fine for me to move out of my house and start my new life before the court hearing took place. As a result, the judge said I abandoned my children to which I then had to fight for custody. She had no remorse for her poor advice and only said, “I don’t know happened.”
I decided to change lawyers and after thousands of dollars spent, I was finally able to obtain partial custody of my children.

Keith is a fabulous attorney. He knows what he’s doing, and how the court system works. He can’t give everyone exactly what they want all the time, as the end decision is the Judges (not his), but he will work hard to get the best results he can for you. Horrendous experience with Melvin and Melvin. They were referred to me by my Realtor for our house closing. Very unprofessional. Closing took 2 and a half months and was delayed so much that it ended up costing us thousands of dollars. I was going to keep my options on them to myself but after receiving the closing paperwork in the mail with “inaccurate” information, I’ve decided to give a review here and on all of my Social Media apps. Attorney, after she screwed up, wrote that I requested funds to be wired to me after the sale. This is absolutely incorrect and the Attorney must know this. It’s well documented via email that she screwed up and again cost me more money to fix her mistake. I’m sure this a CYA situation. Such a silly thing to be “inaccurate” about. This Firm certainly doesn’t need anymore bad reviews but here we are. Too bad the Attorney wasn’t “accurate” in her file. ** using accurate and inaccurate in quotes because I’m sure I’d hear from them if I used the term that actually fits!

I was falsely accused in a medical case. Ms. Latimer came highly recommended by a friend. After accepting thousands of dollars in fees and retainers, she dropped my case because unbeknownst to me she was negotiating a deal to join a firm involved in another aspect of the case. What a Benedict Arnold! How untrue to her stated values.

When you are contemplating or facing a divorce, the myriad of emotions and the depth of those feelings can overwhelm you and hijack your normally logical thought process. It can really challenge the foundation of who you are. This is what I found when I was facing my own divorce. Even though I am a well educated PhD with a successful career, this process reduced me to feeling helpless and weak.
This is why it was so meaningful that I found Ellen Holtzman and Christina Campolo on their website. As strong and well respected women leaders in their field and community, they understood how destabilizing divorce is and how even the most successful woman can find herself lost in the system. Both attorneys took their time to listen carefully to my fears and needs. Their expertise and knowledge of family law is impressive, but their ability to connect with clients is their strength. Ms. Holtzman is especially adept at constructing child parenting plans and negotiating child support even in a contentious divorce, and I was thoroughly awed by Ms. Campolo. Just after college I met and married Rose. I hoped we would have a happily ever after and I truly tried my best to make that happen. I worked hard and made good money. We had four children, but my wife made me do everything. She never worked during the marriage, and that was fine with me because we didn’t need the money. However, I always hoped she would take more interest in the kids and our home, but it never happened. Year after year, I was the one who got up to make breakfast and the school lunches for the kids before I went to work. Over time, Rose and I grew apart and I realized that I was carrying everything on my back. I never felt like I had a partner. We tried counselling but nothing changed. Finally, after nearly 20 years, I decided to get a divorce. I asked friends about divorce lawyers and the Law Office of Ellen Holtzman came highly recommended. After the initial consult I asked Ellen to send the divorce papers to Rose.
I was always generous to Rose and the kids, but she was never satisfied. It was never enough, even when I willingly gave her above and beyond what the court ordered. Since the divorce became final seven years ago, she has taken me to court for extra support more than 20 times over issues that lack any validity. She seems to do it just to waste everybody’s time because the judges never find in her favor. I used to wonder why Ellen kept such a detailed paper trail about everything, all the correspondence back and forth. Honestly, I didn’t think a lot of it was necessary. But later, dragged into court year after year by my ex, I saw the point. When the judge had a question, Ellen always had the answer, and she always had the documents to prove everything. Proof that all the checks and the letters had been received, proof that the checks were deposited, and receipts showing that the money being sought for needed items had already been paid.
Now happily remarried to a woman who is a true partner, I want to say that you can rely on Ellen and her team. They have been there for me every time I needed them. It took me several hours last night to get over the unexpected strong emotions I was feeling from the events of the trial today.
You and your staff have spent hours, days and weeks doing the most thorough job in preparation for my trial, including all those heavy file boxes you methodically carried back and forth to court.
You were superb! You walked into a situation where several meetings with the judge, my ex-husband's attorney and my prior attorney had already taken place. You fought full-force against a judge who believed my ex-husband was ill, penniless and not capable of earning money.
When you examined my former husband on the stand, much to my ex-husband’s dismay, you were able to prove, based on a report from his doctor, that he was no longer ill nor incapacitated as a result of his illness. You were also able to prove he was far from penniless, and had, in fact, spent lavishly on apartment renovations, his dogs, restaurants, travel and other luxuries. You were able to prove he had just received a substantial payment from one of the companies with which he is actively involved. You thus proved he had the means to pay me the court-ordered alimony on which he had been in default of for over two and a half years.
Georgia, you turned a judge slanted to the other side into seeing the true situation. As you know, I have had other attorneys in my lifetime, but never have I had one who did the magnificent job you have done and never have I had an attorney or known a person who is as compassionate and as fine a human being as you.
I feel so lucky you came into my life and I honestly cannot imagine what would have happened to me without you.

After my husband and I went to a mediator for a separation agreement, a lawyer friend insisted that I go to Georgia Kramer, and ONLY Georgia Kramer, before I signed it. Am I glad I did! I cannot imagine what my post-marriage life would be like had I not had Georgia as my advocate and divorce attorney.
At Georgia's suggestion, I faxed the agreement to her, and when I arrived for our first meeting she was fully prepared to help. Her calm and personable manner alleviated much of my anxiety, and her suggestions and advice inspired great confidence in her ability to manage my case.
She wasted no time . After asking specifically about my needs and concerns for my future,she took out her notes on the already studied document, and began editing it to eliminate vague and ambiguous language that could present problems for me in the future, while clearly explaining the ramifications of these changes. Her amazing patience and her ability to help me understand the implications of what was done illustrated to me how knowledgeable, how experienced and how committed she is to her clients. She clearly understands the difficult situation that divorce presents, and she went out of her way both personally and professionally to represent my interests.
I also noticed her professionalism during meetings with my soon to be ex and his lawyer. While she acted respectfully toward my husband and his attorney, she was also quite assertive, and exhibited a strong, no-nonsense approach while arguing for the best outcome for me, her client. It was clear to me that my husband's lawyer knew of and had great respect for Georgia.
Because of all this, my settlement was more than I ever could have hoped for. It meets far more than my needs and concerns. Despite Georgia's extensive experience, her deep knowledge of divorce law and her obvious expertise in tax law, she constantly explained to me clearly what she was doing on my behalf, and how it would affect me. Georgia never talked down to me. She always included me in the process. And still, there was always time for a smile and a pat on the back from her.

I first retained Penny back in 2001 when I separated from my husband of 20 years. Penny prepared our separation agreement which eventually was to become our divorce agreement. Fast forward 15 years and my ex-husband filed against me to be relieved of his maintenance payments. Penny had prepared an iron-clad agreement which held up. She was there every step of the way as my advocate, always responding quickly and professionally to all my questions and calls. We won a three-tier motion which gave me the leverage to negotiate a very positive result for me. I would recommend her whole-heartedly and sincerely appreciate all her hard work and persistence. She was also very fair with her fee schedule and I would use her again in a heartbeat.

She handled my custody and support case. Initially, I was a little uncomfortable with her but that soon passed. She is tough as nails, knows her stuff (practicing for more than 30 years in Family Law) and will tell you like it is. She got me a fair and reasonable parenting agreement as well as the child support I was due and owing per New York State -- something which I had not even considered.

I retained Ms. Baritot to handle my divorce. Many of my questions either went unanswered or were answered in such a way as to be confusing. Had this been my second or third divorce, I most likely would have had more of a grasp of the situation and I usually got the impression that she had more important clients and could not spend time explaining matters to me. Divorce is a demoralizing, stressful, life changing event. Patience and an empathetic nature are important and necessary virtues that divorce attorneys need to possess. Perhaps Divorce Law is not or should not be Ms. Baritot's area of expertise.

I contacted Eurydice Kelley almost a year after I had already retained another attorney, who was pressuring me to settle my divorce action, because she did not want to take my case to trial, due to the complexity of the issues. Things were stalled and going nowhere. I had already spoken to several other attorneys, who declined representation as soon as they learned of the complex issues involved. One of those firms highly recommended Eurydice Kelley.
Eurydice agreed to meet with me in person for a consultation. She listened to my whole story and was extremely patient with me. She took notes and asked me a lot of questions to help her better understand my unique situation. Eurydice agreed to take my case. The sheriff came to serve us at 9PM for family court. It was a restless night for all of us. I started googling at 6AM the next day, as you can imagine, all the lawyer’s officers are closed even the ones that states they are open 24/7. Most of the lawyer offices in my area open at 9AM, I noted that the Law Office of Nick M. Frisco open at 8AM. I held back until 8:02AM, it rings and rings and bang, Fatima, the paralegal answer. I explained we needed advice and counsel to navigate thru the court’s virtual world with this return of process emergency summons. Within, 20 minutes, Fatima put us in contact with Nick Frisco. We explained the situations and the expected outcome we were asking to get. He told us to provide a summary, get school records, medical records, letters from the teacher, etc. and accepted our case. Nick explained that we need to leave our emotion out, only speak when spoke to and maintenance a positive attitude. The hearing was the next day. During the hearing, Nick discussed the facts and merits of the case and the best interest of the children. The children mother kept changing her story about our arrangements. The judge reminded the children mothers about lying under oath.
Sorry for the long write-up but I wanted to explain our situations, the quick turn around and the sense of urgency.
I would strongly recommend the Law Office of Nick M Frisco for family court. In order has been issues so the children mothers will need to follow the courts order. Nick and Fatima are a great team and may a big difference on the outcome of our court.

In the beginning of my custody case Mr. Frisco was asking me questions (and making statements) that made me wonder who's side he was on. For many months during the case, his communication in email and verbal was usually combative and condescending, and every time I spoke with him he tried to convince me to settle for what my petitioner was offering, and had no regard for how little time that would allow me to spend with my child. On the last day of the case, minutes before trial started, he argued with me and yelled at me in front of people in the waiting area- pulled a guilt trip on me for not agreeing to what was being offered, which I gave in to, and turned out to be one of the biggest mistakes of my life. Do NOT hire Nick Frisco, and if he is appointed by the Court, I strongly recommend that you request a different attorney.

This Law Office has been handling my case for 3 years… I had an accident on August 1st of 2021 and it is now August 14th 2024 they haven’t been active or helping and I have only spoken to my attorney once and it was after I said that I would be looking for a new firm since than they haven’t been contacting me or letting me contact them, when someone does eventually answer they say one thing and then hangout when i respond, they also call from multiple random numbers when they do call so I’m beginning to think this is a scam stay away from this law office.

Wade took my case in 2012 to best honest I didn’t have the money to pay him . He made a payment plan which help .. He was there when I was to get my stamp in my passport for work purposes.., he was there for my 2 court dates he was there in the office for my citizenship interview…he wil call me from time to time to make sure to make I was ok ..

He still doesn’t have his paper he needs to lose his practicing license. Very rude to non-speaking clients. Never in his office. Change your personal address to his own office or home. Don’t give you receipt for your application. Personally I believe cause my friend is black. So I’m putting a petition on wade Johnson for abusing his position to gain whatever.

He inadvertantly did not put me on hold while checking my file, so I could hear him saying in the background, "..teachers...they're all stupid." He was abrasive, but not when needed in court. Hired Mr. Arnoff because he assured me during my free consultation meeting that he could prepare a compulsory accounting for my probate case in Riverhead Surrogate’s Court- after six months of trying and having the court reject his prepared accounting and then having to tutor his assistant on how to prepare it, he ended up hiring an accounting firm at an additional expense to my estate to finally prepare it correctly to suit the court’s protocol. In my opinion, overall I was not satisfied with this law firm and would not recommend them. I had to keep an eagle eye on their invoices to me as well after they charged me for my free consultation- they made many errors on my monthly invoices, which they adjusted once I pointed them out.

Harvey did a fantastic job for me and my children. I walked into court confident with the knowledge that he was the more experienced and professional attorney. He always made sure I had copies of everything he had done and that I was well prepared for each day in court. On the down side, it sometimes took the better part of a day for a return phone call, but he was none-the-less always responsive. His office staff was highly professional and very caring. I hired Charles for my divorce and although my divorce was finalized pretty quickly, I am very unhappy with how things went. He confused me on two separate occasions with a different client, with one time having an entire conversation about 'going to court' before realizing he had the wrong person. My documents written were too vague and had to hire an additional lawyer to write an addendum upon hearing that my divorce was finalized. I was very dissatisfied with how things went and am very disappointed with how much money I spent on mediocre service.

This attorney was recommended to me unfortunately I wish she was not since her involvement costed the children to lose their parent for 3 years. Mona made a perfectly safe parent unsafe by convincing me to take supervised visits to prove our point which was used to make a “Refrain from order” a “stay away”. I was forced to be supervised amongst my two children while I taught 220 elementary to middle school children unsupervised- the stupidity is beyond comprehension. On top of it all, I was forced to not see my kids for 6 weeks because of her ill fated advise in her arrangement of a supervisor. Mona is the reason why I lost my children- please, please pick a better attorney and research them not taking recommendation. Also, her advice caused an arrest almost costing me my teaching job in which she commented many people get arrested even teachers. I am horrified and such will be further documented.
