I had contacted this office and ended up having the attorney Scott B. Goldie take on my SSDI case. We met a few times and all seemed well. A year after our initial meeting I received a hearing date. I met with Goldie to check in and all seemed fine. About two weeks before the hearing he calls me and tries to get me to drop him as my lawyer. Since I had no time to find new representation I declined. He let it slip that he wasn't even aware that I was applying for SSDI and not SSI. I kept him up to date on my information and it was clear that he had spent no time reviewing my case. He sent me a letter notifying me that he was dropping my case 1 week before my hearing. I recommend seeking representation elsewhere.

I was originally pleased with Ms,Mathiesen's work from the time I hired her to handle my divorce in August 2021 through early 2022. At that point things abruptly changed. She failed to provide the other attorney with documents I submitted in August 2021 . This came out during a court appearance in February 2022. From that point on multiple instances of unanswered e-mails, promised phone calls that never came, last minute notice of court appearances, continuances, adjournments. At that point I downloaded the court calendar and now ask her to confirm that posted scheduled dates are still on. Money owed to me from my spouse that I was told would be coming never did. On all issues I have documentation. Changes in my monthly fee without any explanation. I've used lawyers for house closings, adverse possession case, litigation against a state agency. I never experienced the lack of communication and lack of professionalism as I have now.

William King does not protect children in divorce. All he cares about money and his clients have none so he is trying to make me the opposition pay for his services as he allows my children to be kidnapped to a county they are not from. Additionally I already am divorced in the Supreme Court in another county in NY and he didn’t even submit the correct settlement agreement to the court in Monroe county because he is a liar. William King should lose his job. We need cement mixer drivers and it pays better than family lawyer Mr king.

I got charged with aggravated harassment, 2nd degree comm/alarm. I decided to hire this lawyer as a risk, and he was VERY forth coming with my case with honesty, integrity, and dignity. He was very honest about the outcome of the case although he doesn't promise anything, but can lessen the charge to a much lower degree.
I went to court and this fantastic was able to lower the charge from Misdemeanor Class A to ACD (Adjournment in Contemplation of Dismissal); I gladly took it and I was overjoyed!!! No fines, community service, and/or prison time! FANTASTIC LAWYER! HIGHLY RECOMMEND FOR DISABLED PEOPLE!!!!!
Keep in mind, he doesn't make any promises but his guarantee is pretty much golden as stated.

It took me several hours last night to get over the unexpected strong emotions I was feeling from the events of the trial today.
You and your staff have spent hours, days and weeks doing the most thorough job in preparation for my trial, including all those heavy file boxes you methodically carried back and forth to court.
You were superb! You walked into a situation where several meetings with the judge, my ex-husband's attorney and my prior attorney had already taken place. You fought full-force against a judge who believed my ex-husband was ill, penniless and not capable of earning money.
When you examined my former husband on the stand, much to my ex-husband’s dismay, you were able to prove, based on a report from his doctor, that he was no longer ill nor incapacitated as a result of his illness. You were also able to prove he was far from penniless, and had, in fact, spent lavishly on apartment renovations, his dogs, restaurants, travel and other luxuries. You were able to prove he had just received a substantial payment from one of the companies with which he is actively involved. You thus proved he had the means to pay me the court-ordered alimony on which he had been in default of for over two and a half years.
Georgia, you turned a judge slanted to the other side into seeing the true situation. As you know, I have had other attorneys in my lifetime, but never have I had one who did the magnificent job you have done and never have I had an attorney or known a person who is as compassionate and as fine a human being as you.
I feel so lucky you came into my life and I honestly cannot imagine what would have happened to me without you.

After my husband and I went to a mediator for a separation agreement, a lawyer friend insisted that I go to Georgia Kramer, and ONLY Georgia Kramer, before I signed it. Am I glad I did! I cannot imagine what my post-marriage life would be like had I not had Georgia as my advocate and divorce attorney.
At Georgia's suggestion, I faxed the agreement to her, and when I arrived for our first meeting she was fully prepared to help. Her calm and personable manner alleviated much of my anxiety, and her suggestions and advice inspired great confidence in her ability to manage my case.
She wasted no time . After asking specifically about my needs and concerns for my future,she took out her notes on the already studied document, and began editing it to eliminate vague and ambiguous language that could present problems for me in the future, while clearly explaining the ramifications of these changes. Her amazing patience and her ability to help me understand the implications of what was done illustrated to me how knowledgeable, how experienced and how committed she is to her clients. She clearly understands the difficult situation that divorce presents, and she went out of her way both personally and professionally to represent my interests.
I also noticed her professionalism during meetings with my soon to be ex and his lawyer. From my experience, she skewed our conversations to support her decisions. Often she wouldn’t follow parent coordinator protocols; she’d rehash issues that were already decided, engage in lengthy one-one conversations, and broach topics that weren’t hers to decided all of which ended up costing me $20,000 a year. She’d regularly bill three months late and repeatedly promised to bill more timely and never did. She became irate with me when I couldn’t pay and told me that I could open up another credit card to pay her because her husband was out of work and she needed a new roof. She was friends with the other sides attorney and never disclose that to me. They were even Facebook friends. The judge called into question her decisions which she had no supporting evidence for and reprimanded her several times. Thankfully, the judge removed her. Michelle asked if she could stay on even after the judge removed her. Both sides said no. She have to make up that income elsewhere maybe actually work for it.

Absolutely do not use andrew park pc services AT ALL! yes you see them on billboard advertisements, however I believe this firm is selfish for only the money and doesn’t care for minor car accident cases. Also Juliana Serrat, the negotiations rep is obnoxiously inconsiderate. Trust, lawyer up with a different firm you have a greater success with another firm thank you.

Howard Felcher, Esq. came highly recommended and he did not disappoint. It was a pleasure working with him and his staff. I sought legal representation for my divorce after an unusual situation in which I had to switch attorneys. I was recommended to Howard by my Accountant. And after interviewing 3 additional lawyers I chose Howard without hesitation. On my first call to his office I left a message and within 30 minutes he returned my phone call. This kind of personal attention continued throughout my divorce. More then just a great legal mind he possesses great common sense (a truly rare commodity these days) At all times he made sure to never let my divorce become personal. Mr Martin handles some simple legal documents for me in a complicated case, but he did let me know he was not proficient in the other areas and recommended I seek the assistance of an attorney in the specific area of my dispute. My case has multiple areas and beyond complicated, the legal documents he provided, I was able to reference later, paper trails are important.
He send me regular updates on billing, there was not any dispute, I think there were a fair assessment. He did not do "extra things" like I believe another attorney did NOT 'pad the bill.'
His area is clear 'divorce and separation, child Custody, child support. I would be interested in the outcome of the other review.

I hired Andrew Martin through the MCBA Lawyer Referral Service and it was one of the worst mistakes I made in my life. When he told me he was a comedian my radar went up but because he was recommended through the MCBA (Monroe County Bar Association) I thought he would handle my case like a professional because if you can't trust A Bar Association recommended attorney who can you trust right? Well my situation was a business dispute with a former partner. I can't go into full detail because the case is still open but I hired him to do a civil case. I explained to him my situation and let him know an attorney had already had recommended a few other attorneys. After speaking with a few they were talking very expensive and Mr. Martin told me he would handle my whole case for set amount. Needless to say when I agreed with him he sent me a contract that didn't say the same thing as we agreed upon but I figured it was just his standard contract so I asked him to remove the line about paying extra money and he did.
Once the money cleared we met and went over the case and I explained the story to him. Mr. Martin and his paralegal (who I later figured out does his damage control.) Had me doing everything but the actual things that was pertinent to my case. While showing me what he was billing me for until we were almost half way through with my money. He told me he was going to get the case over with quickly and try to get me some of my money back. Did he ever pull a fast one on me?! He had me going to the Family courts instead of the Civil Courts and he kept lying to me telling me he was going to write up a motion to file in the Civil Courts. The people I were suing had dragged my name in the mud and stole my money and my business. I literally begged this guy to put my case through the civil courts. Originally he said he would handle my whole case for a set amount but it didn't dawn on me that he was doing all these little things and making up charges to avoid the civil courts and go the cheaper route and misappropriate my funds so he could justify ripping me off . Which is what he ultimately did. My business got sold and he filed a poorly rushed legal motion two months later without it including everybody's name and left it sitting without serving anybody.
I hired this man In July 2018. It took him until November to file the Civil Case. He ignored me for awhile that. He lied to me and said he would try to get the defendant served so he had me come in to pay for a skip tracer in January 2019. He proceeded to lie and act like the defendant could not be found for about 2 and half months until a friend of mind told me the defendant was at the same address and still doing business at the same location with the same people. He had me under the impression that the defendant moved out of state! I was going to just fire him at that point and try to do the case myself but because there were more defendants involved now because of his in action on my case it was going to be too complicated for me to handle. I didn't have much money left because I had been out of work recuperating from surgery all the way until towards the end of 2018. Instead of Andrew Martin helping my case he made it more complicated and literally destroyed any chance I have of winning. It wasn't until I filed a Grievance on him in May that he finally had two of three defendants served towards the end of June 2019. He wanted me to remove the grievance but he wouldn't show proof everybody was served. He then made up a extra bill and gave me a week to respond. I emailed him trying to settle our dispute and he proceeded to send me all the people he served and withdrawing himself from representing me. He still has my files and the money he billed me for should be up for dispute. Depending on what the Grievance office will say should let you know how much protection we as citizens have against these lawyers that pray on the innocent.

Unfortunately, my divorce was extremely high conflict. I wanted to settle, but my ex did not, and he hired a very sneaky, contentious, fight-to-the-death attorney. I wanted an attorney would would take the high ground. Naomi was everything I wanted and more: she is calm, articulate, has excellent judgement, and -unlike other attorneys I have known- always took the time to explain everything to me in detail and answer all my questions --and always returned my phone calls! Naomi was supportive, understanding, and very present (not multi-tasking all the time the way other lawyers seem to do). I worked closely with Naomi for 2.5 years and, in spite of my ex's need for vengeance, she managed to help me get a settlement result I am very happy with. I cannot speak highly enough of Naomi; She is an absolute star, both personally and professionally.

This attorney did not advocate for me with respect to her credentials regarding Jewish divorce or domestic violence, and actually allowed lawyers to violate my rights and my caretaking rights as a mother. She has since added advocacy for Muslim divorce to her profile and while I cannot speak to the details of being Muslim, I believe the lawyers committed substantive and procedural unconscionability. As a result my healthcare, consumer , employment, education, and civil rights have been violated over and over. She touts helping with sexual harassment, cyber-harassment and intellectual property, and she did not. If anything, I have had issues as a result of the legal language, and I have a trail of police reports going back to 2018. I have encountered issues in interacting with Muslim clients and business' as a result of her actions in conjunction with my ex-husband's lawyers from Hoffman and Behar. I think she is a disappointment to what it means to be a Jewish female professional, and I think both she and her firm should be held accountable. I live in one of the most secularly diverse neighborhoods of Brooklyn, and I find her profile to be completely disrespectful.

This attorney was recommended to me unfortunately I wish she was not since her involvement costed the children to lose their parent for 3 years. Mona made a perfectly safe parent unsafe by convincing me to take supervised visits to prove our point which was used to make a “Refrain from order” a “stay away”. I was forced to be supervised amongst my two children while I taught 220 elementary to middle school children unsupervised- the stupidity is beyond comprehension. On top of it all, I was forced to not see my kids for 6 weeks because of her ill fated advise in her arrangement of a supervisor. Mona is the reason why I lost my children- please, please pick a better attorney and research them not taking recommendation. Also, her advice caused an arrest almost costing me my teaching job in which she commented many people get arrested even teachers. I am horrified and such will be further documented.

Terrible terrible terrible woman!! I hired her to help me with my custody/visitation case and she completely let my ex win custody of my children and I was left with nothing but 2 weekends a month! She failed to listen to me on what I wanted she instead only did what she wanted to do. She was very rushy and wanted the case to be done and over with as soon as possible with whatever results my ex wanted. Do not hire this crazy lady. She gives everyone dirty looks and always has an attitude when talking to people. She talks down to everyone as well. Stay far away from her!! Nothing but disappointment and nastiness from her.

Terrible attorney. Yelled at us because we didn't agree with what she wanted to do. She had no intention of representing our interests, only her own. Extremely unprofessional and unethical. She had no ability to listen and kept talking about "the numbers" which were completely inaccurate, then told us we never gave her our tax returns which we had given her two weeks previous to our court date.

Hiring Breiter is a mistake I will have to live with forever. She ruined my life and my children's lives. She is incompetent. She does not do her due diligence. She tries to be a social butterfly. I had to go to court for my divorce!!! She shows her hand to the other attorney. Instead of serving my husband with the divorce papers she sends him a letter advising him that I have retained her...WHAT? I hired Jeanne Breiter to represent me as my collaborative divorce attorney last summer. Divorce is obviously never easy, and mine became an extremely stressful event at times as my wife and I had trouble reaching an equitable settlement.

Jeanne was enormously successful in recently representing me. My husband and I had very difficult financial issues, and we were both out of work. Lies constantly to extend my case for her benefit rather than mine. Racks up lawyer fees with false promises. She does not know the law or litigation and in her dealings with me has proved that she does not know her job. Cost me over $100K for a divorce that should have cost less than $10K.

Michael Belsky is one of the worst lawyers I have ever hired. He is very rude and abnoxious and does not keep you informed about what is going on. I was hoping that Mr. Belsky would fight for me and help me get more in my case but he didn't seem very interested in fighting and putting in the extra effort. He left me totally in the dark about my case and I was totally dissatisfied with the outcome. He was slow to get back when I called and when he did get back he seemed annoyed, short, and condescending. I would never use him again or recommend him or Tully Rinkey to anyone. They are very overpriced, do not listen to or keep their clients informed and you walk away feeling like you did not get your money's worth. Do not, I repeat do not use this firm. You will leave with your head down and have a much lighter wallet. This firm doesn't care about their clients they just care about the money they can get from you.

This lawyer pulled a pipe out in his office and smoked it while I and my 3 month old and my wife were at his office. I grabbed my baby in her carrier and quickly ran out to his hallway where my wife kept her. I was trying to give the guy a chance...He has cameras in his office with the two most relevant in what I’m saying covered up with papers. He can barely hear and the Judge had to keep repeating to him and he really should retire due to his age and poor hearing. This lawyer was horrible at representing me and keeping our family together. After his para legal secretary got news they were losing me she called me and was very rude and unprofessional, and should not have called. They knew I am a brain injury survivor and did not handle things good. You got to wonder why really do they have cameras but yet covered in the office...

Hired for a child custody issue and at first meeting thought I had finally found an attorney who really cared, not!! I realize family court is a joke but he did nothing to help me! Two times came to court without hearing aids so that was not good right off the bat! I paid him $4,500.00 to retain him and I ended up with my childs mother getting sole custody, the court order said the mother and I were supposed to work together on holidays (well guess what, I haven't gotten a holiday yet, surprise surprise!) I have talked to another lawyer and they cannot believe I wasn't given joint custody as just about everyone gets joint custody and after the way the mother had been why the holidays weren't spelled out. Guess my lawyer just wanted to get this over with. I got two more supervised visitations after I had already done at least 2 months supervised visits, two unsupervised visits and then was supposed to start getting my child overnight and the mother pulled more crap and did not show up with my child for the second time and I was told to get papers and fill out to petition the court on my own which I did but haven't seen my child in over a month again! Had sent him information days prior to one of my court dates and he came to court and had never even looked at information, actually didn't even know it had been sent! He did not even know I had an order of protection on me and with that I was put in a bad situation. Highly advise not hiring this man!!!!

I contacted Helene for a consult on my divorce mediation. When she called me back, she came across as rude. I explained I was looking for the consult plus a review attorney, which she said was smart. Like every lawyer I speak with, I asked her about her caseload to determine if she could commit the amount of time I needed for my case. Her reply, "Why would I tell you that, I don't even know you." She can't even have a civil conversation with a prospective client, so that closed the door for me. I thanked her for her time and said I'll contact her if I want to schedule a time.

Initially looked for a collaborative atty but turned out I needed a litigating atty. Be careful if you seek litigating attorney. She charges reasonable rate but in her first bill charged almost triple the amount of time the plaintiff atty charged for the same task. Did not agree to negotiate the price down or even discuss it. Gave misdealing and misinformed advise that was very damaging in the early stage of the divorce proceeding related to forensic accounting, temporary support and visitation. I advise you to set up "do not exceed amount without approval" right from the start. Good luck
