I came to Julie seeking someone to represent me for a manufacturing marijuana charge. From the one action I was charged with three felonies. The anxiety and fear knowing I could possibly go to jail was causing me to have heart palpitations. I had already talked to two other attorneys but didn't have any peace about what I was facing. Julie immediately put me at ease about what to expect and suddenly I felt peace. My heart slowed down, I was able to sleep, and I got my appetite back. She knows what she's doing. When Mr. Roberts was still with the Legal Aid, I was referred to him by the county because I became the victim was a very serious DV/criminal case. I honestly did not expect too much from a legal aid attorney from the stories I've heard, however he did not only work so hard, but he has given me so much emotional support while being extremely professional and he fought very hard against this awful judicial system that seems to be built around the criminals not the victims. It has been a little over 10 years now and I couldn't thank him enough for what he has done for me. Thank you so much Mr. Roberts!

I fired Ms McKee yesterday after 6 months of waiting and requesting a meeting with her. I was patient as she was very busy but became upset with her when she had still not answered my questions asked in December of last year and several times after. She had nothing but excuses every time I spoke with her. The last time we talked she was going to finally review my file and then call me. When I arrived for our meeting she had still not looked at my file and that was the last straw. Then she tired to blame it on me! I was combative. Right. More abuse from my attorney to add to my ex and my family. Nice work McKee.

This staff is a the worse I ever have spoken to, I was, referred y my cousin carlos portillo the attorney queen has his case , he told me he walked in and really fast spoke with the lawyer, but I had very bad experience with the rude stuff, there I waited for over a month for an interview with the lawyer, but I miss the appointment, cuz I was sick and else forgot, cus so long, so I call to see if I could at least do tbe interview over the phone but they. Were mad when they talk to me , saying it’s my responsibility, yes and many other things, I can’t say, I don’t understand how they keep Mr queen a good business I guess he works hard for it cuz with stuff like this, is going to lose costumers, I will calm all my family and friends I’ve been here for 27 years I know Olot ppl, and ppl that works for the radio station, maybe this way they change this stuff, of the attorney finds out about it,

Worse attorney in concord! I had consulted three other attorneys in the area who had known about Ms.Robertsons work ethics and had even said that she was friends with opposing counsels attorney! Which now explains the mess that has to be cleaned up by my current attorney who has recommended I file a complaint to state bar. She had failed multiple times to respond and or clearly explain what the status of my case was. She kept saying my case was moving at an appropriate rate. Well I had a child support hearing which Ms.Robertson had mentioned I did not have to be present for because of my work schedule. Well the day of the hearing she had taken it upon herself to not update me as to what the outcome was. No phone call, no email, no letter, NOTHING! Two weeks later Ms.Robertson had finally decided to respond to my emails and said what my child support payment was plus $1,100 of backed child support that she had failed to mention when I (the plaintiff) had filed the lawsuit initially which was a year ago. She was extremely unprofessional in her emails and few times I would attempt to discuss the matter with her over the phone. Eventually I had to fire her and hire a new attorney because opposing counsel had informed me multiple times that Ms.Robertson and opposing counsels attorney would discuss issues that were only meant for Ms.Robertson and myself. If you are a dad please look else where for an attorney. This attorney talks a good game but is a poor representive for single fathers who want to protect their children.

I highly recommend staying away from this firm and Trent Grissom. He was told to file a simple insurance claim 4 times. None of which did. He was fired. I posted a negative review on Google and he threatened to *sue me for defamation* really Trent?? Is this the type of attorney you would use??? I would recommend reading other website reviews which are poor. They will charge you for every small email even when it is unsolicited.

**Don't even bother wasting you're time with this 3rd string pack of attorney rejects. Trent Grissom will tell you 'oh it's my specialty...no problem'. You will then be forced to explain your case several times to him and then put it in writing, all after paying for your official consultion. He is unable to find any solution. They merely just want to run up your bill with redundent question and tactics. There is always exuses for not receiving updates (moving offices, sick, vacation and court - really??). I spent one year with this 'unimaginative clown' and accomplished zero. **Read the real reviews, NOT Google reviews. Poor office support as well. **Avoid at all costs** How anyone who could rate this firm a 4 or 5 must have been paid to do so.👎

Brittany Hall handled my child support hearing. I am leaving 2 stars because the ultimate agreement was fair and was settled ahead of seeing a judge; however the initial agreement sent to me was full of basic calculation errors that you wouldn't expect from a professional. I ultimately pointed out the mistakes, and once the correct numbers were used in the calculator, she sent me an accurate proposal. I could have accomplished that myself. After the agreement was reached, I received a letter from the other party's state child support office indicating that they were not going to respect the agreement we had reached. Brittany refused to take my call.
The outcome was satisfactory. However, I believe given the entire experience, there are better options for the money.

Regina has a very hard time returning calls, answering questions, remembering her clients names, anything you tell her seems to go in one ear and out the other. She will forget tasks she agreed to complete, mistakes on paperwork, causing wrong names on court documents! She's moved her office at least twice since we hired her. We have paid over $2500 and she never returns my call. She was a good lawyer but she may be reaching a time where she needs to retire. I think we have made a dangerous choice that could cost us dearly.

I have had the worse possible outcome and time with this attorney ! If you want your case to be over looked and you to be over charged for staying on top of her at doing her job be my guess ! This law office is not whom you are wanting to represent you at all! I had to beg and plea for help the entire time this was dragged out. $8,000 later was not worth it…the defendant was even willing to settle for MORE before court and she turned down the request. I never Got documents on time or informed of my case in detail. I was Told one thing and the defends attorney was told something else after court. This law office is a JOKE and I will be going to the BBB and NC Bar !

I did my separation with them back in 2021. I had all the paperwork needed and it was a very simple sign and done situation. I was charged thousands to do this. Nothing against this firm in terms of expenses, Divorce is an expensive ordeal and does take significant research and work to formalize a proper agreement based on special situations and individual situations. While one must be prepared for such legal costs over all the experience with Hartsoe and Associates was amazing. Specially, me being in the US Army, I was not always available for reaching out to, but despite they handled my case exceptionally well and came out with an amicable out of court settlement ! which is something I wanted from the start. Mr. Warren is an excellent attorney to have in your corner from the beginning all the way until the end of settlements. I personally had a previous subpar attorney before retaining Mr. Warren. Thankfully I retained his services. Mr. Warren fought for me intensively to seek fairness in reference to child custody, child support, and overall divorce proceedings. Divorce can be a nasty situation without proper representation. It doesn’t have to be if you have someone representing you who will look with an objective lens. I would highly recommend Mr. Warren if you need someone to dig in and fight for you. He’s not some “foot on the desk relaxed guy” who will promise you the moon and stars, but when you show up in court with him you will have one of the best, if not the best, attorney beside you.

Clifford law firm was to represent my son in 2 counties both wake and sampson. He showed up once in wake none in sampson after being paid to be my son's rep. I would not hear from him nor my daughter in law would see him attend to business. The man mumbles and I could not understand most of what he was saying even though he was apprised I am hard of hearing. 20 months and nothing he said he would do was done. I even hesitate to give one star he deserves none.
