After my first meeting with Sheryl, it was obvious I had made the right decision having her handle my divorce. Not only did Sheryl carefully explain my options, but she competently guided me through the many issues which developed during the process. With Sheryl's advice I was able to negotiate my settlement without going to court.

First off I will say that I was rushed in picking a lawyer and didn't use very good judgment. This one will take you for all you have and not do the work for what she charges. She basically stood by while I stated my case in court. She came to court late on several separate occasions because she had other cases to attend to. She doesn't communicate almost at all. I would have to ask all the questions and never got straight forward answers. She doesn't offer any legal advice for your situation. She will send paperwork through the mail as often as she can and charge you an arm and a leg. She has no compassion and will not explain anything. She also gets annoyed and irritated when asked to explain something. During her consultation she will do what she has to and say what you want to hear so you retain her but never actually follows through with what she said. I did "win" my cases but it was in no part thanks to her or her doings.

I hired Ann to handle a child custody case. I recently moved into my son’s school district and was hoping for a 50/50 custody arrangement. My son is 8 years old and his mother has had primary custody since he was little. At the first meeting with Ann, I knew she was the attorney I would hire. She was knowledgeable about the process, the judges and was very strategic with next steps. She did not over promise but she did exceed my expectations and over delivered. At the custody master level I received a recommendation that was not favorable. Ann worked through the issues with me and I ultimately decided to move forward to a trial. Ann’s competence and suggested strategy were main deciding factors that led to taking the financial risk of trial. During the process, the relationship with my son’s mother became very hostile and Ann was always responsive to emails and phone calls. At the end of the day I ended up receiving a favorable outcome. I plan to use Ann in the future for any family law issues.

Was interested in someone specific at firm, unfortunately it got handed off to her instead. That should have been my first sign. Upon sharing with her what I was looking for and hoping to obtain - she was passive, disorganized, and in the end I spent thousands of dollars that got me nowhere. It's as if she was in her own world and didn't even put forth an effort to fight for my rights regarding custody.

Avoid this firm! After paying 12k to this firm within a short period of time, I was told to find a new counsel ( via phone call) due to the retirement of my attorney. My case was 30 days away at this point.
I called the firm to inquire about my options . I was then transferred to Maria Cognetti, who was extremely rude to me and kept saying I couldn't afford her and that her retainer starts at 20k, and she refuses to take my case. My case had one court date left. All other tasks had been completed.
Lynn ( her front desk) called back almost immediately and stated both attorney's spoke and attorney Kendall agreed to continue my case BUT the retainer had now gone up TWO THOUSAND more dollars than the original bill I received a day or two prior.
When I questioned Lynn regarding the retainer increase, she stated it was due to attorney Kendalls retirement. I then called to question that & I was transferred back to Maria. She then told me he wasn't taking the case period.
I then asked Maria if the judge had honored attorney Kendalls withdrawal on my case. The next morning, attorney Kendall emailed me and said he would take my case for the original retainer amount.
They only care about the money. The fees were outrageous. I paid $170 for attorney Kendall to review a three worded email. Go anywhere else! I obviously obtained a new attorney after this who handled my case with care.

I am dissatisfied with the behavior of this law firm, which has wronged a friend and respected member of our community. After attempting to address my concerns with the firm's owner, I was met with a lie from the paralegal about the owner's availability. This incident reflects the unprofessional conduct that I have observed since my friend first retained this firm. My friend, a responsible and law-abiding individual, was taken advantage of financially by this firm. They have failed to provide adequate communication and have not honored their obligations under the retainer agreement. I have filed complaints with the local bar association and will continue to advocate for my friend and protect others from this firm's unethical behavior.

As the GAL for our custody case, KST blindly sided with my ex without any concern for my children or their wellbeing. She helped put the kids into a dangerous situation instead of getting them out of one. She didnt hardly speak to the children, almost never showed up for court, and was eventually removed my case by the judge because of how little she was doing. I would not recommend her under any circumstances.

Caprice Hicks-Bunting has been a great advocate for my family and most importantly my child during our custody case. She has been knowledgeable, and has been very caring, understanding and down to earth. She is a great attorney who knows her stuff, and genuinely cares about her clients, and the children involved more than just making a dollar off of her clients. Caprice Hicks Bunting is a no nonsense attorney who gets the job done !
She was involved in a custody case for our family and did an excellent job. Being in Lancaster County and also being a male wanting shared custody is an uphill battle which she handled with ease. She did this while charging a reasonable price. If you want a lot of fluff and a fancy office don't bother calling but if you want a tiger by your side who does what she says she will then this is the attorney to contact. Hoping not to need her anytime soon but if we do she will be the one we will be calling .

Beth was good in the courtroom in front of the judge but she completely botched the custody agreement . I requested that I receive 50/50 custody time and after the terms were complete Beth entered me into a 36 % custody agreement . She entered into terms which I was specifically opposed to . Better off hiring another attorney . Opposing party's attorney was more competent and detailed . I had to hire another attorney to file for a modification hearing just to get what I originally requested from Beth

Lisa has represented me (father) in a very contentious custody dispute over the past 7+ years assisting in everything from domestic relations to custody proceedings which eventually led to finalizing this case with an adoption by my wife of our daughter.
Through the numerous conciliations, master hearings and court appearances Lisa always was thorough and explained in great detail the options, concerns and potential outcomes which always had our child in her best interest. Lisa’s work ethic in our case was exceptional.

I feel even one star is too much. My mother and I worked with Amy trying to get grandparents rights and I have nothing good to say. We were told she was an amazing lawyer and she would do anything to fight for what she knew and felt was right. First we had a zoom consultation with her and then heard nothing from her or her paralegal for months! I had to email and call several times to get a response to find out Amy LOST our file in someone else’s case file! That should have been enough for us to say ok we need to find someone else but we thought we would give her a chance I mean after all we are all human and accidents happen. Then we were charged for a visit to the office to do nothing but the exact same thing we did in the consultation! Long story short, 8 months after contacting Amy, we were told there was nothing more she could do for us and we had to withdraw our court case. There were several times I emailed and called and received no response. The entire time we felt she wanted nothing to do with our case and just wanted to throw it aside but still collect our money. When we withdraw our court case I emailed asking about a refund that Amy stated we would receive along with requesting all the documents that were filed in our case file, I again had to email 3 times asking for these before the paralegal responded and acted like she was oblivious to any lack of communication through our whole case when she was included in all of the emails. I can’t speak for the other lawyers but I would not recommend Amy for any family law case.

Misplaced case info. did not move in a direction to help my child who was harmed, abused. She questioned me and kept saying claims made by my child did not make since. She kept inflating charges billing. She threatened to tell the judge, she had to drop me as a client for non payment. I gave her all I had. This woman as my lawyer, was no help, to a domestic violence survivor. She acted unethically. I chose this woman because she is Chair on the Philly Bar Association. Wrong choice. Not a good burromitor of her work. The case file was empty when I sought to retrieve my docs to give to my new atty and retain for my record. Why would she Elaine dissolve key info on an active case. I handed stacks of docs to her. Don't use Elaine. One truthful customer complaint with painful consequence is enough. Child best interest, with violence not focused too much risk. It appears there is another complaint. Similar actions. Over billing. Bully behavior, minimal result. Oppositional, not compassionate. I paid Elaine a huge retainer. She kept seeking more money.

Brett helped me with a terrible situation with my husband back in July. Unfortunately in September we tried a reconciliation that did not last due to my husband's infidelity. A new Separation Agreement was prepared. Due to my fragility, he not only counseled me, but he tried to protect me in any way that he could. He answered every email and/or voicemail that I left him. If you find yourself in the unfortune position of his guy representing you against your child's mother, consider yourself without a lawyer, he will help your child's mother and leave you high and dry. I got Zeitlin thru my employment, after I initially saw how he was misrepresenting me, I asked to get another lawyer from the firm he's at. The firm refused to give me another lawyer, I spoke with his supervisor, got no satisfaction. Attempted to change to another lawyer, four times. He was horrible with my divorce. I wish I would have never met him or heard of William, Willig and Davidson.

Scott Aldridge represented me many years ago in both my divorce and child custody issues. He was superb -- calm, efficient, decent, and a great listener. He stood up for me and my children in our last four-way meeting prior to finishing the agreement -- and, true to form, he predicted the outcome exactly. Through him, I was able to retain my children and my house, and have still managed to be on good terms with my ex husband. Scott always took the high road. NOW maybe I didn't pay enough and thats why I got poor service, I did pay asking price for a retention and I called and MULTIPLE messages regarding advice I was trying to go through but never called me back. Had a very challenging divorce where seems like all the stops were pulled out against me. She calmly and methodically answered them all. I was inappropriately paying a large amount of support and she presented evidence and stopped it all. Had great repour with custody conciliator. I went from little time to full physical and legal custody. Great negotiation of the final settlement. Couldn't ask for a better advocate.

Attorney Strunk handled my Custody and Divorce matters AMAZINGLY. I have hired attorneys before and never had them respond to me as quickly or with as much concern. At first I was a little apprehensive because she seemed really nice but at all my conciliations she was stern, intelligent and knew just what to ask and say. She also explained all of those legal things that I just didn’t understand. I felt that her cost was also fair. She is the best attorney in town, I would hire her again if the need were to ever arise. I've told all my friends about her too.

I have an ongoing legal battle with my ex. I was horribly disappointed with my last Attorny and was getting nowhere with my case.
A friend referred me to Dana. This has been the best decision I have ever made.
Dana took my case, she has informed me on everything going on as it aspired. She took the time to answer every one of my million questions, and is helping my get through this horrible time in my life.
She is fearless, cut throat, and straight to the point. Dana does not play games or sugar cost anything.
I honestly wish I would have picked her a year ago when I initiated my custody case!

This women is a horrible and immoral person. Her and her husband Greg Turk tried to extort money from me through courts. They both took and oath in Allegheny County criminal court, then lied about damages I did to their house. I was found not guilty because, I had a video from the encounter showing an already damaged door. There have been SEVERAL victims of this lady she has gone after DOZENS of family's in our community from money. This women likes to target young girls by bullying them and intimidate them using social media. Each one of her victims always has a problem with one of her kids. Consumer BEWARE!

Mr Hills is a straight shooter. He doesn't sugar cost your case and make you think you can do something you can't.
