Brian Walters expertly guided me through a multi-year custody case that was only resolved after a week-long jury trial was held. At trial, Brian was uniquely able to convey empathy towards the other parent while still delivering the hard facts of the case. I believe this resonated with the jury as they were being asked to make a decision that reflected the best interests of the child and not the best interests of either parent. In my personal case, and I suspect in most custody cases, it is easy to demonize the other parent for what they did to you and how their actions are continuing to hurt your parent-child relationship. From my perspective, this is why it is invaluable to retain a legal team that is emotionally intelligent in how they present the facts of the case. Brian was incredibly adaptive when speaking with witnesses and able to effectively anticipate and respond to comments from opposing counsel. Brian unquestionably focused and presented on the best interests of the child and I am beyond grateful to have been able to work with him and his firm.
Logan Kilgore joined our team towards the end of multi-year custody case and brought a refreshing positivity in an otherwise draining situation. Logan swiftly appraised herself of the case and I immediately felt secure not only with her professionalism but more significantly in her level of care. Throughout the case Logan listened to my concerns, stayed focused on the child’s best interests, and used all resources available to accurately convey those concerns during a temporary order hearing and during a week-long jury trial. At trial, I was humbled by Logan’s ability to manage exhibits, coordinate and examine witnesses, and communicate with all involved parties. Further, she was able to accurately recall specific details of the case and then pull factual evidence from the exhibits to directly disprove statements made by witnesses or opposing counsel in a manner that still conveyed empathy to the other parent. Logan’s extensive preparation and emotional intelligence during delivery were instrumental in this case and I consider myself incredibly blessed to have worked with Logan and Walters-Gilbreath, PLLC.

Patricia Jay was a wonderful attorney for my divorce and custody case! Her and her office staff were incredibly helpful and attentive to me and the case. We encountered quite the few bumps in my case due to the other half not being in the country and out of reach. They never gave up and got done everything needed in order to get him here to close the case. She was even amazing enough to go to court with me on the final court date as it was her birthday. I got James as my attorney after my final agreement had been signed. James had to fight to get the final agreement changed because I would have been paying her bills for the rest of her life. He worked with me when my money ran out and trusted I would pay him later. He discounted my fees because he knew I had been taken advantage of. He gave me other legal advice not related to divorce. When you are with James you really feel like he is on your side and not just trying to close a deal. The only problem is he is so good that he stays busy a lot. Do yourself a favor if you need a divorce attorney. Hire James.

I had an important document that needed to be faxed. My bank at the time wasn't able to fax the document to Bexar County Attorney's District Office downtown. I can't say enough good things about everyone at Graham Family Law, I wish I had known about them and how good they are before I hired the firm across the street. I hired Rob Biggers with Graham Family Law after I had to fire the Attorney I went to first for her negligence and failure to actually work my case. Without Rob's help I would be homeless right now. NO JOKE. Rob is an outstanding Attorney that will always respond and not leave you hanging and wondering what's going on. He is also well versed with the obstacles and challenges with OPM and the facilitation of changes named in the Final Decree that are faced by Civilians working for or retired from the Federal Government.
Another great thing about Graham Family Law is their receptionist Courtney is awesome. When she says she'll get something done, it GETS done. She is on top of everything and is also one of the nicest persons you will ever meet.
In short, I don't believe you will find a better team to help you should you find yourself in the horrible thing called divorce.

Compassion, what does that mean these days? It's defined as a sympathetic pity and concern for the sufferings or misfortunes of others. I disagree. I, personally, what describe it has caring for another human being relating to or understanding one situation. My case started when I was blindfoldedly hit with a custody modification ask me back then and I would not have a clue as to where to start telling you what this meant. However, what I did know was that this was going to be very close to my heart, in fact, better said this is my whole world that they were putting on the stand. First court date had a little hiccup and I was a tad bit concerned; I mean after all this is my whole world. The trial.... Mr. Inserni was fantastic. He was absolutely fantastic every angle he killed it, every witness he tore apart,and the one thing I will never forget is what he told me from the beginning... I'm not here to attack the opposing party I'm here to defend you. That's exactly what he did I highly recommend this attorney he is compassionate, professional, prompt, and precise. I ended every interaction with confidence and certainty. At the end of every call, Chanda and I both had clear expectations on what to do next--I had my tasks, she had hers, and every time we followed up, we were on the same page. She and her team are highly prepared, proficient, prompt, and consistent. I appreciated that the billing information was explained so well that I never felt like I had to wonder how much things were going to cost. I was billed on the 1st and the 15th of every month, and I personally loved that consistency. Although I have never worked with attorneys before, my personal opinion was that their fees were extremely fair and honest. Each bill had a running record of every item they completed, with times, dates, and explanations. I loved their practicality of providing phone calls and zoom calls, rather than meeting in person. Brandi N. Aguillon RESTORED my faith in the family court system. I had screened several attorneys looking for someone who could help me through a difficult family court issue. Other attorneys advised me to wait and see BUT Brandi was able to give me a practical solution AND deliver the result I need and more. Divorce is not a fun time. After I found out my ex-wife had been cheating on me with a family friend, I searched for a good lawyer with experience. I was unsure of what to expect. I had a consultation with Mr. Emory about my situation. After hearing my story he told me that he thought my case could use a lawyer with less experience and less cost. He offered to give me the names of lawyers he knew and trusted. That fact in itself made me choose him. He was amazing. Mr. Briones is a generic result attorney that totally got annihilated in court JP3 04/13/21
He was representing my family members in a civil suit and even got their name incorrect.
Briones was unprepared and tried to scam Judge Wentworth into believing that only one person was on a deed to a home in dispute as if the other ex spouse was not on the deed at all. When the Judge called him out in it, Briones stumbled in his words saying he misunderstood.
Briones did not even have the divorce Decree with him that literally won the case for the opponent .
He told the Judge he did not know what was on it and got annihilated once again when the Judge had the copy of the decree and told him that his name was on it. He had signed it, yet had pretended he was unaware of the stipulations on it that favored the opponent and the case was lost for Briones.
I believe the Judge could see through Briones right away and his credentials were immediately lost.

I went to see Mr. Briones for a consultation in December of last year. My ex wife was moving to Laredo and taking our son to go live over there. I asked Mr. Briones for help and he recommended that we file for a modification to have my son come live me with and not have to go to Laredo. It seemed impossible and I never thought I would have a chance but Mr. Briones was very certain that we could fight for this.
