If I could give 0 stars I would. Absolutely THE problem when it comes to attorneys this day and age.(maybe it’s just with men). If you want a game where you're being strung along and billed forever playing the rollercoaster game with you and your children's life instead of evidence being presented in a costly/timely and empathetic manner THIS IS YOUR GUY. Mr. Bancroft, i just got off the phone with you where you hung up on me stating that I’m threatening you. Get over your ego and realize that your business as a practicing attourney needs realignment. I wrote you about a standing invoice you provided totaling to less than the amount that Ive paid to you months prior with no response. After speaking to your paralegal, then being transferred to your “billing dept.” and speaking to them I was provided with a newer invoice…..with newer charges, where whomever was working before had originally just simply “forgot to send me the invoice”….what a convenient coincidence. After speaking with her, I was transferred to you where I had a conversation with your ego. Well, from the little guy(s) down here Mr. Bancroft, do whats right and fabricating invoices to skip out on paying balances owed on any moneys paid to you for the services that you DID NOT PROVIDE are just not that. Client paid $1750 in retainer fees(half of your 3500 to get the case started) and had to chase said attourney down for enquiries with little to no communications outside of ones that were initiated by me/client, INCLUDING in person conversation with YOU where I unexpectedly paid a visit to your office in August after I could not successfully contact anyone and asked about a status of my case. You did not recall my case by name until we went to your office and you searched my name.(keep in mind, this is three months after contracting). Attourney invoicing per attourney-client portals all state work for balance of $753, with latest payment from client being $631 in October.(this never happened, only payment made was the initial one and didn't make another due to subpar and in my opinion MALPRACTICAL, I'm aware that isn't an official word, service). After a few months of calling and majorly being placed on hold, back and forth’s with promises of returned calls or motions with paralegals, multiples of them and finally being frustrated with the reality of paying an attourney and not being fought for……while fighting a vindictive situation with my children as a GREAT DAD I asked for an explanation stating that if I did not hear anything as ai had been I wanted to discontinue services and be refunded via message inside of the client portal, I THEN was given a response…..but not with accountability, not with a plan of action, not to communicate any valuable evidence or structured plan of action, but to speak downward of me on the “dismal” months of non-payment……….ultimately this attourney demanded I paid him his past due amount, in addition to totals for mediations that hadn't even been had yet to avoid him WITHDRAWING. Needless to say I attended the mediation PRO SE, paid the mediator directly. I’m now on maximum state mandated child support and standard visitation for the children I equally raised because the relationship did not work out with their mother…finally divorced none the less. All of the evidence in the world to fight that good fight never presented, never saw a represented court setting, money just wasted and thank GOD I demanded a standard or it could have been MUCH MUCH worse financially. Contracted with this attourney on 5/24/2024….attourney withdrew as of 11/5/2024, yet they have still attempted to withdraw payment from my bank as of latest, 12/19/2024…….this was my SECOND attourney over a course of what I recall as a 3 year nightmare……I can confidently say, this is whats wrong with the family law system! Will edit with photo documentation when I have time.

Word of advice before hand, do NOT use this lawyer. You will never meet him in person, he has his office employees run his firm. He has been reported to the COMMISSION FOR LAWYER DISCIPLINARY APPEALS & previously suspended for his lack of loyalty & honesty towards his clients. Clients have reported losing homes/estates due to him not advocating/fighting for his clients.Take your time & money elsewhere or else he will take it for you.

Mr Mercado was hired for a child support case and did not have his clients best interest. Constantly had to call and email his office for responses When I did get a response, it was a request for information that I had already sent. Horrible experience and I have no choice but to continue with this case as it has been going on for a year with no resolution. I would not recommend this attorney.

I first contacted Ms. Diaz when an ex employer was defaming me. Monique was brutally honest with me, advising it would be unlikely I would get awarded damages but we could get them to stop, which she did! I was so impressed, that when I had a family issue, I contacted Monique expecting her to advise me to someone in family law, but she quickly addressed that issue too. In fact, that’s what Ms. Diaz does best, quickly resolving the issue, so her clients don’t get billed needlessly. I can’t speak enough about her, and appreciate all the legal support she’s provided me over the past 2 years.

Bryan Crone was an absolute professional. For over a year I went back and forth on if I wanted to pull the trigger on divorce or not. Bryan never pressured me one way or the other and was more than patient with me. It felt like he genuinely had my best interest at heart. Ultimately when I decided to proceed with the divorce, he made the process easy and explained things in a way that was easily understood every step of the way. I would not wish divorce on anyone, but if that situation ever occurs, I would absolutely recommend Bryan Crone.

BEWARE of Michael Dominick
let me save you your time and money before even considering using Michael Dominick for your services. First of all the receptionist who was very sweet I believe is coached to say whatever it takes to schedule the appointment. I was lied to, to feel comfortable enough to make the appointment. Was told the hourly rate and I said oh I most likely will only take up no more then 20 minutes, I only wanted to ask a couple of questions. She said no problem they will refund for whatever time I don’t use. Which is the only reason I agreed to the appointment. I was there on time, was made to wait cause he was “consulting with a colleague” I was told, which was fine, walked into his office 15 minutes later. Was in his office almost 25 minutes before telling him that I don’t think he is what I was looking for. At the front I asked about the refund and you can tell his frail ego was hurt and said we don’t do that. And I explained then I was lied to and that now I feel conned into making the appointment because I never would have accepted knowing the truth. Said to contact billing and she was just plain rude. She then said that “I am just mad because he wouldn’t take my case” lol oh honey I’m sorry I think you have it twisted but it’s his weak frail male ego that is mad that I didn’t want him. She then dismissed me rudely. Maybe he needs the extra cash because he is the least paid lawyer in that office and was able to take my appointment instantly so that speaks volumes for his books. Maybe he will use the cash to tailor his poorly fit suit. I have the original phone call recorded on my home security cameras to prove I was told about the refund policy and I have the appointment voice recorded because I sometimes forget everything that was talked about during any sort of appointment and like to reference back, so I have time stamps and everything for the record
Save yourself your time and just go somewhere else. He is smug and arrogant and likes the sound of his own voice because I tried to cut off the appointment much sooner as I realized ten minutes in he was not for me but he likes to go round and round repeating himself, probably to rack up the bill and justify himself. I will be going to everywhere and anywhere to leave my review, google, yelp, Reddit, Justia, Avvo, every San Antonio group on Facebook. I will google San Antonio lawyer review sites and leave my experience so people can take from it what they will.

I am recently a young single mom who is going through legal custody of my son. This woman is a Godsend. I came to know Mr Peterson through my Mother, who worked with Mr Peterson for her will and estate planning. I hired Mr Peterson in early 2019 to help with estate matters (probate, etc) and he continues to be available and helpful and willing to listen to various related matters and offer guidance and professional insight and respect. Hired sralla with a $5k cash retainer for my divorce.
How much work did he do? Only filed my divorce petition.
Never answered my calls or emails.
Then he assigned another attorney to my case.
Complete waste of time.
Go elsewhere.
Stay away from sralla and his office.
He'll have you talk and talk while running the meter on your retainer all the while pretending to care about you, but it's only your money he cares about.

Kevin Sralla had my case lost before it even began. He is not knowledgeable in family law , he isn’t even aware that in custody, a client has an option to choose a jury trial instead of a bench trial in Texas. Allowed opposing attorney to set up everything on a timeline that wasn’t even feasible , the other attorney saw how little he knew about family law and took full advantage from the start. My new attorney has undone most of the mistakes that were made by Kevin and we still have a chance in this case. Had I kept Kevin as my attorney , this matter would of been over with 6 months ago and me and my children would of been in a much worse situation than when we began. At the initial consultation, I let him know we were dealing with a very high conflict individual and I needed the best. Instead of admitting this was something way beyond his ability and referring me on , he just happily took my retainer and still has it , 10 months after I hired him. I have never received a final bill or refund. I don’t want this to happen to anyone else.

Unfortunately, I've had a long and trying custody battle over a stretch of 10 plus years. I've dealt with a handful of attorneys over that time and Clint is far and away the best. He's understanding, direct, competent, and sincere. That last one is really a breath of fresh air. Mr. Lawson is currently working to help me get my daughter back (I'm the Managing Conservator) from the other parent who did not return her to me after Spring Break. I'm not sure where I'd be without his guidance.

I contact this law firm Joel to be exact, because he was working with my father before he died trying to locate property in Medina County. Joel charged me for the same work he did for my father. Extremely slow on preparing and filing for a case. Very expensive was being charged $100 per text message that went to her paralegal. When it came time for the case she was to busy and had to pass my case off to another lawyer. With other lawyer we basically had to start all over as she was not involved or familiar with my case from the beginning. All of this was being charged to me so it was like I had to pay for two lawyers. When the court date finally arrived the new lawyer which was Miss Day appointed by Miss Cruz was very unknowledgeable and the case was thrown out. I wouldn’t hire either of them two as all they do is try and drag it out as long as possible to be able to charge you more hours.

My attorney Brooke Irey from this firm refused to represent me claiming I agreed to her withdrawal, however a judge has never approved that withdrawal. She got me locked out of my home that I have exclusive rights to until it sells. She risked mine and my sons lives to date by not writing up and delivering the judges orders Overall sneaky grimy shady business. All this because 7500.00 was not enought to write up a judges court order from 07/2023 according to her. That was not part of the 75000.00

Michelle Lanfear was referred to me by another attorney. My first impression was that she was aggressive and attentive. Nothing could have been further from the truth. She was never around for anything, highly impatient, and let my ex-wife's attorney run all over her. Her employee was extremely rude to me and threatened me on several occasions. I had the unfortunate experience along with my husband of having to deal with this horrible example of a child advocate! She was self-centered, condescending, rude, self absorbed, narcissistic, and flat out the most biased person I have ever met in my entire life. There aren't enough examples I can give of how horrible she actually was in an overall manor. We were fighting for custody of my step children (who I consider my children), because we want a better future for them, and she did not follow through with what she said she would and acted very unprofessionally. I am sad that she did not do her job to the best of her ability and all we continued to get from her was how great she was and all the accomplishments she had under her belt (I never witnessed anything good at all). She also lied under oath and never followed through with the services we paid for up front. I was also disgusted when she compared her niece who has a birth defect with my step daughter who has a slight learning disability (how disgusting for her to belittle that). I am appalled that she is continually allowed to represent children and be their voice when she does not do her job. She also had the nerve in court to call my mother a Step grandmother, and she said a lot of people might be offended because my mother isn't blood (so she shouldn't be called grandma), but the sad truth is my parents treat them as if they were their blood grandchildren and more so than the kids actual blood grandparents (SAD)! I am seriously disgusted with Rosie Gonzalez's actions in and out of court. I would never recommend her to anyone, because I don't want anyone to go through what we had to go through. She formed an opinion and was biased from the start. She can't stand questions and if you disagree with her she will be nasty to you. She also went after one of our witnesses (a family member) so much to point she tried to get him fired, but a witness from the other side lied on the stand and she did nothing. We were told by many that they felt she acted unprofessionally the entire time and they though she was an attorney for the other side. Please don't use this woman!!! I am not stopping here as I don't want her to put anyone else through what she put us through. I know no one is perfect and life takes you in many directions, but the truth is the truth. After hearing many strong opinions about Rosie fighting for a child's best interest, we immediately consulted with her and confidently made the choice to retain her for a custody dispute. When we went to court, the attorney representing my wife's ex-husband was brutal while my wife was on the stand and Rosie sat back and watched. When my wife's ex husband was on the stand, Rosie took it easy on him and did not bother to question the validity of the false accusations he made against my wife like we had discussed prior to court. The judge ruled we were to take more time and try to work things out which from his perspective would make sense considering he only heard the ex's side from his aggressive attorney and not my wife's side from Rosie. During this temporary time, more complications arose for our child and Rosie would only represent us again for more money (even though we were still coming back with the initial issue and no real resolution for our child's well-being). This was our first experience going though a custody dispute, and Rosie had gained our trust. Though it was a struggle, we pulled together the funds for Rosie's services again and we were back in court. The second time around ended badly for our child. When push came to shove Rosie caved and suggested we agree to the ex-husband's demands because we couldn't afford her services to pursue the dispute in court. Unfortunately we trusted her and gave in to the ex-husband's demands. After that, our child continued to endure mental and emotional abuse from my wife's ex-husband. We did all we could to afford taking him back to court, but that time we chose a different attorney. Come to find out, the new attorney we retained confirmed Rosie didn't represent us properly. Now we are trying to untangle everything Rosie did. Our child continues to suffer at the cruel hand of my ex-wife's husband thanks to Rosie Gonzalez, but little by little we are changing the situation now that it is being addressed by a professional attorney who is genuine and capable of getting to the core of the issue and seeking proper resolution in the best interest of our child.
From personal experience, I will never recommend Rosie Gonzalez for custody issues if you truly care about your child's well-being. She's a nice lady but not a good attorney.

I am deeply disappointed with the services provided by attorney Natasha Sherri in handling my divorce case. Despite paying her money for her services, she failed to assist me in any meaningful way throughout the process.
From the onset of our engagement back in 2020 during the challenging times of Covid-19, communication was already a struggle. Despite my attempts to reach out to her via email and phone calls, I faced difficulties in getting a response from her. Initially, she cited personal reasons such as the passing of her father for her unavailability, but eventually, she ceased all communication altogether.
Due to her lack of assistance and unresponsiveness, I was left with no choice but to file a grievance with the Texas State Bar to address this matter. I urge others to exercise caution when considering her services, as my experience with her has been highly unsatisfactory.
I am currently awaiting a response to the grievance I have filed and hope that this review serves as a warning to others who may be considering retaining Natasha Sherri as their legal counsel for any matter.
