Diane was professional and courteous, and quite expensive. But she is worth it. She helped me keep my cool through the divorce process. Explained everything in detail and made herself available for many phone calls, which a normal person would try to limit. 😆 My only regret was being Pro Se in the begging of my divorce and not hiring her sooner. I may not have “won” in court, but she did help me mediate instead of going through a potentially expensive trial, which would have irreparably damaged my business. Thank you Diane, for all your help. I’ll definitely use your services again in the future.

I truly appreciated her flexibility in scheduling meetings around my schedule and job. We even met on a Saturday early on in the case. At times she would not respond to emails and voicemails in a timely manner, but that might have been my perception during the stressful/needy time of my life dealing with a ruthless liar of a now ex-husband.

Seriously could have just told me she was serving me for a depo. Not like I have personally avoided any service.
You have the address of the person you are sueing and it ain't mine. Get a grip people.
I have told every single process server they they don't live here and yet they insist opening my gate and trespassing 🤦🤦🤦. So dumb!

October 2024 - I was fortunate enough to be referred to Julie by another attorney a year ago. She was the 3rd attorney I had met with and she was able to see me on very short notice within 48 hours. Immediately, she put me at ease. After our initial visit, I already felt a huge weight had lifted. I was very glad that I had not already retained an attorney at that point. Right away, I felt Julie was "the right one". She was sincere, compassionate, caring, and I could tell she was smart. She immediately took control and told me what I needed to do in order to assist with the case. I hired her right then and left the meeting feeling as if I was in capable hands - and rightly so. On very short notice, Julie and her team were able to frame and present my case which secured a positive outcome at the temporary orders hearing-- for me to be awarded primary custodian of my children and to be able to temporarily remain in the family home. For the past year, Julie has worked diligently through numerous obstacles and challenges from the opposing party while maintaining a high level of courtesy and professionalism to all parties throughout the process. I’m a criminal defense lawyer with 45 years of experience, so when it came to my own difficult, complicated divorce, I knew I needed the best lawyer possible. My first lawyer was, at best, mediocre. Then, during a court zoom hearing a couple of months into my divorce, I watched and listened to Cynthia First representing another petitioner. Deeply unprofessional and discriminatory conduct from Theresa Lorella and this firm. Unethical law firm that refuses to provide an itemized receipt. Ms Lorella sold herself as being capable of the most difficult divorce settlements but after 3 months and tens of thousands of dollars later she was incapable of doing even the bare minimum such as get my non marital personal property back. Ms Lorella also engages in bigoted behavior and when her firm disciplined her for the matter she quit the next day in retaliation. If you are a member of any marginalized community you do not want to hire this law firm.
I also believe there was a fraudulent use of funds and Ms Lorella’s relationship with opposing counsel was a serious issue. I do not believe she operated in good faith. Must be nice to collect a six figure paycheck off of the dissolution of families.

I highly recommend Mardi. She is an excellent Family law/Divorce attorney. She gives specific, concise advise and ensures that you understand all of your options. She also gives specific to dos which helps make the process less stressful. Mardi is incredibly compassionate and understanding which also helps one be able to navigate through very difficult situations.

Mardi appeared much more interested in making money off of me than helping me resolve my case. After failing to meet every deadline, and making mistakes, she withdrew from my case, leaving me in worse shape than had I’m not hired her at all. I would not recommend her.

Mardi is kind, compassionate and competent. I have recommended her to others, but my only concern is that she was often slow in responding. I'm not sure if the problem was my Type A personality or if this is normal for a solo practitioner. (I've only worked previously with non-solo attorneys on will/trust issues , but all responded more quickly on questions and tasks.)

Jennifer did nothing for me except take my money and write some emails! We talked on the phone a few times, was very personable and pretty, but I paid over $12k and I do NOT recommend her. I hired her based on a friends recommendation and four years later post divorce I'm still dealing with a bad deal in my divorce. Instead hire Connolly Tacon & Meserve or probably anyone else!

Credit to the LvBC team - Seth and Karl are outstanding!
I hired them to assist with a residential real estate case. I performed an initial consultation with several other firms, but Seth and LvBC clearly stood out even at early stages. Throughout the entire process they were consistently responsive, informative, and realistic/honest with me. I truly felt like I had expert guidance at every step, and that they took their duty of looking out for my best interest seriously.
LvBC got a tough case - it was a complex situation, the case lasted longer than expected, and there were multiple teams of opposing counsel to contend with. Seth and Karl are the real deal though - and they helped secure a favorable outcome for me. I have seen them work, and they are the folks that you want on your team.
While I hope to not be in a similar situation again, without a doubt LvBC would be my first choice should the need arise. I'm happy to recommend them to anyone else who should also require similar assistance.

I went the distance with Anne Wakefield, all the way to a multi-week trial in 2018 at the cost of $200,000 (yes, two hundred thousand dollars), and I regret having done so. We did not even show up with all the required documents, such as financial statements.
After trial, when it was clear the judge did not take our side, she disappeared. She did not respond to emails from me or opposing counsel, however urgent, for roughly 90 days.
In pre-trial hearings she consistently failed to do the extra work to set us up for success. I only know this because after the bad trial outcome I had to litigate for six further years on the appeal and post-trial hearings. We then prevailed because the facts of the case had always been in my favor.
By the time I was done having other legal teams fix her poor work I was another $200,000 in the hole. But I learned from those new teams what she had failed to do.
She also has a poor comprehension of domestic violence, and her client management skills leave something to be desired. For instance, she had constant crises on due dates but failed to warn me that she would need all my time on due date mornings. I eventually learned this and learned to take the day off work on due dates. For her, however, she seemed utterly surprised every time that she was once again behind schedule.
Disappointing. But at least cheaper than others.

Absolutely would not recommend this office and specifically Mr Lucenko and his paralegal. Horrible experience. Overcharged. Made multiple mistakes in favor of my ex. Paralegal hounded me while I was at work. Wouldn’t answer questions about ambiguous billing charges. If you are a woman, save yourself the frustration and find someone willing to represent YOU.

I can not say enough about Inadequate communication skills. Attorney Actually stated, "I have 30 active cases at any one time, you need to understand I can't work on your case I have urgent deadlines.
When asking strategy, this attorney does not advise, Alternatively she gives ultimatums of dropping representation.
Most disturbing:
All attorneys in family law understand tome-frame and unspoken rules.
No attorney will take family law if there are less than 90 days before trial, there is simply not enough time for trial prep.
This attorney thought it funny to terminate less than 60 days before trial. Knowing that this created a disadvantages for the family, no guarantee of court granting continuance

My friend referred me to Chad Eubanks for my divorce. He did her divorce and she spoke highly of him. I was losing sleep and could not work with the stress. My (now) ex-wife wanted half of my two businesses I started years before we were married or I knew her. She also wanted me to see our two kids 4 days a month when I spent more time with them than her during most of our marriage. Chad put me at ease he would not let that happen. We went to court several times and he was the most articulate and prepared attorney in the court room. I got my both my businesses, and our children spend half their time with me. Could not have asked for better representation.

I hired Chad in December 2021, for what I was told was an easy parenting plan modification and to enforce child support from my ex.
It started out okay, Chad told me in our consultation that my case was an easy and straightforward one, although I did warn him that my ex-husband had potential to be extremely combative and so I was a little bit nervous about the process. But I trusted that I had a good lawyer on my side and that there was a light at the end of the tunnel soon. It took a couple months to get the initial draft for the parenting plan. I reviewed it right away and had a couple of minor adjustments that I requested he make. He also needed to be put in touch with my ex to get his financial information to calculate child support. I put them both on an email together with clear instructions on what was needed. Chad did update me, about a month later, that he had the info he needed as well as the new support order and would send it over shortly. This is where Chad slowly began to disappear... Over the course of the next few months, I reached out many times asking what the status was, if there was anything I needed to do, when I could expect to get an update, etc. No response. Then I asked him when I would receive the updated documents, and he responded "These are done, I will have them for you shortly". Okay, I keep waiting. Again, nothing. At one point, I got an automated email that his paralegal had left the firm. After I asked once again for the updated drafts that he had said were done, he replied back that his paralegal had done them and since she left, he needed to do them again. I understand that if your paralegal unexpected left, it could set you back, so I gave him the benefit of the doubt and just... kept waiting. Another several weeks go by, and still no update. Several emails went completely ignored. Eventually, after I expressed my frustration and explicitly explained that this was extremely stressful and that I felt ignored, he replied back that he "sent me the documents months ago". I explained that he sent me the initial documents months ago, but not the revised ones, and that if he DID send them, would he please send them again....and still...nothing.
About 7 months after I initially hired him, I sent an email explaining that my ex was escalating and I needed to get this taken care of, and to PLEASE respond back to at least just let me know what to expect, and I was still met with just vague dismissive answers. Finally, he told me that he needed my income information before he could finalize the support order. Why wasn't this asked for months ago? I had asked several times if there was anything else I needed to do, and this was not even brought up until now, over 7 months later. I sent him the information right away. I also explained, one more time, that dealing with my ex and getting no support was extremely stressful, and to PLEASE put some urgency into this, or at the very least, just keep me updated on where we stand or what to expect. That was one month ago. And I still haven't heard a word from him. He used up my 5k retainer, and nothing was accomplished, 8, almost 9 months later.
I finally just hired a new lawyer. She has already accomplished more in a week than Chad did for me in almost 9 months. I could have had a whole new kid in that amount of time!
I see that Chad has a few great reviews and honestly I don't doubt that he CAN be a decent lawyer who can get stuff done for you..if he wants to. But I also see reviews that sound similar to mine, so apparently I am not the only client he has blown off. For whatever reason, he decides certain clients aren't worth his time. He wasted 9 months of MY time AND my money, for nothing.
You're taking a gamble if you hire Chad. Yeah maybe he'll do a great job for you. Or maybe he'll treat you like a pile of crusty dishes, growing taller crustier and mustier by the day, that he'll flat out ignore for nine stressful months. Thanks for nothing, Chad.

I hired them to assist with a residential real estate case. I performed an initial consultation with several other firms, but Seth and LvBC clearly stood out even at early stages.
