The Lincoln Club of Orange County is an organization of business men and women that has supported conservative candidates for federal, state, and local office since 1962. Its ability to engage in political activities, including running its own campaigns on behalf of candidates, campaigns that are often called independent expenditures, has been critical to its success for almost 50 years.
In the late 1990s, the City of Irvine and other cities throughout the State of California began restricting the public’s rights to conduct and contribute to independent expenditures, often by limiting the amount of money that could be contributed to, or spent by, an independent expenditure campaign. From the beginning, the Lincoln Club saw these restrictions for what they were: a direct assault on everyone’s First Amendment free speech rights.
The Lincoln Club determined to fight the erosion of our free speech rights by challenging the City of Irvine in federal court, and we interviewed several leading law firms and legal scholars in search of an attorney who would be committed to turning back these intrusions on our fundamental rights. After a long process, we retained Dr. John Eastman and his Claremont Center for Constitutional Jurisprudence. While we did not doubt we should prevail, anyone facing long and difficult litigation knows no outcome is certain. It was Dr. Eastman who won the case.
Dr. Eastman filed our suit against the city in 1999. When we lost the summary judgment motion in the summer of 2000, he immediately appealed to the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, so often a hostile forum for conservative causes. After meticulously briefing and urgently arguing the appeal in 2001, a three-judge panel of the Ninth Circuit decided in favor of Dr. Eastman’s position and overturned in the trial court decision.
The victory that John Eastman secured for the Lincoln Club was complete. Ultimately, Dr. Eastman was able to secure a court order requiring the city to pay the Lincoln Club’s legal fees. More importantly, Dr. Eastman’s success caused cities and counties all over the State of California and beyond to rescind their restrictions on independent expenditures, setting a critical precedent and securing far broader free-speech rights for every American.
Dr. Eastman crafted the master strategy and all tactics at trial and through appeal. It was his energy, focus, and skill that guided our suit through and won a critical battle against government burdens on speech rights. For this, and so many other reasons, the Lincoln Club continues to hold Dr. Eastman in the highest esteem.

When I first came to Alexis, I was heartbroken and discouraged by the way the LAUSD was treating our child. We had tried another attorney who had taken our money and not helped. I was a bit traumatized by the process when we found Alexis but - WOW, what a difference the right lawyer makes. It was such a relief to be able to trust that there was someone on our side that knew the system and would advocate for our son. Alexis has known everyone at each of our mediations and everyone has treated her with respect(believe it or not, this is not always the case). She went above and beyond and managed to do the impossible - because of her, we got the services and schooling that the LAUSD initially told us wouldn't happen. It’s hard to find a lawyer that is personable, very easy to talk to and at the end of the day know their stuff. Patanisha Davis-Jenkins fits that criteria. She is very hard working attorney who goes the extra mile and doesn’t price gouge you like every other attorney I’ve dealt with. Ms. Davis-Jenkins did a Trust for me and the material was very organized and concise and she explained it me in a way that I actually understood. I wish I would have found her much sooner. Dan Shapiro saved my life. If it weren't for Dan Shapiro I could be in a world of hurt right now. Although I was factually innocent, serious charges had been brought against me by someone seeking to use the legal system to retaliate. And even though I did not commit the crime that I was accused of, my defense wasn't perfect. Certain factors gave the appearence that the crime could have possibly happened. Enough so, that the District Attorney's Office was pursuing a conviction. The Police officer who arrested me had decided that I was guilty or deserved punishment even though I was innocent and and made the scenario worse by lying in his police report to make me look worse.
I was truly crushed as a human being, my family and loved ones were as well, very distraught over the entire event. My life had never been worse than it was at this point.
All of this is over now thanks to Dan. The case has been completely dismissed.
The difference between Dan and other lawyers from what I can tell is this.
1) Dan really cares about his clients. Dan really cares about other people and genuinely wants to help. When Dan decides that he will accept you as a client, he does everything he can to ensure the best result he can get for your case.
2) Dan gets to the root of the Law, stripping away the confusions and complexities which other lawyers bog themselves down in.
3) Dan has a good attitude, is intelligent and is very professional. Judges, Prosecuting Attorney's and Jury's cant help but to like Dan and give credence to what he has to say in the Courtroom. Which might make a difference in how they view your case.
To summarize;
If you want a Lawyer who will really care about your case and do everything he can within the Law to get you the best outcome possible, Dan is the man.

At just 21 years old, my entire life changed, I was facing multiple false accusations resulting in multiple felony charges and facing a possible lengthy prison sentence. I do not come from money, I’ve never been in any legal trouble, I’ve never even had a speeding ticket, and all of the sudden all of my money was exhausted fighting this and it was looking as if I would be serving time for a crime I didn’t do. Let me start off by saying I can't thank Logan enough for all his hard work. He took on a family member's case, which was very intense. Logan took the case head on and helped us remain calm through out the entire case, which felt like a roller coaster as we hoped we wouldn't hear the worst during each court. Logan was reassuring the whole time and responsive. He was in constant communication with all of us, and there were many of us constantly seeking updates. There was no question that was too dumb, nor did it phase him when I asked the same questions rephrased, as I wanted to make sure I understood. He was always very professional and checked in with us before walking into each court to give us a run down of what to expect, and gave us a summary as we walked out of court and told us what the next steps were. This case was a big deal because we were looking at a 10-15 year minimum sentence, and he got us the best deal possible. Jail time came out to 270 days. 270 DAYS! How Logan did it, I don't know, but he truly worked him magic and fought hard for us. I could not thank you Logan enough times, he got us out of a life altering jam. Highly recommend him!!

I'd like to start this reviewing by stating that this was my first time ever finding myself in legal trouble and it was for a false accusation that threatened to destroy my business and career, and, as the sole provider for my family, it put us all at extreme risk. Needless to say, this situation was horrifying and highly traumatic. I found myself in a place where I desperately needed someone to fight for me, hear me, and protect my business and my family. Unfortunately, the first place I turned to was a different firm unassociated with Logan Noblin. That firm was my first experience with a legal team, and the moment after I fired them and hired Logan it was plain to see how exceptional Logan is, and lightyears beyond the team I was working with originally. Logan was everything I thought I needed and more in an attorney. He was professional, strategic, compassionate, and, most importantly, someone who fought for me from our first moment to our last. He made sure I always felt informed of what was going on with my case, and understood the options. He never made me feel pressured or like we were going to give up. Mr. Lodge worked on behalf of our business on two different cases. The first case involved an ongoing dispute we have had with another business. Mr. Lodge first negotiated with the owners of the other business and then set up some mediation sessions. After only two sessions, and some rather complex discussions of possible resolutions, Mr. Lodge put together a comprehensive solution, which essentially ended our years-long dispute.
The other case involved a court action that Mr. Lodge filed and argued in court. I was impressed with both the pleadings and the arguing in court. Before a trial, Mr. Lodge reached a settlement which I felt was excellent. I would recommend Mr. Lodge and his assistants to anybody who needs an attorney or mediator.

I would like to thank Mr. D. Schultz VERY much for his kind help when I had a few important questions regarding my small claims case. It was a very difficult situation, as I could not retain an attorney, as the amount involved was too small. Mr. Schultz was very understanding and answered the questions I had in regard to technicalities. I won the case ! I had won already, but the defendant appealed and retained an attorney. The landlords of the home I had rented for 4 years put the house on the market while I was still living there. I endured 2 invasive open houses where I was asked to vacate the premised as well as required to make the home presentable. When the home entered escrow, construction to shore up the foundation ensued. The foundation work required a crew of 4 to crawl under the one story cabin to dig out dirt.
They started at 7:00 in the morning. I caught one of the laborer looking up from a hole in the floor in my bathroom, feces were left in my backyard as well as a pervasive urine smell. This went on for 3 weeks. The landlord did not reduce my rent or compensate me for this disturbance or my time. Nor did they intend to pay relocation costs when the house was sold and I was evicted. Mr. Fraser was able to secure $5,000 relocation fees and free rent for my last harrowing month in the home as well as full refund of my rent deposit and a little extra for my pain and suffering. This allowed me the means to relocate without further stress.

I came to Lake Tahoe on vacation and thanks to Adam I was able to leave on probation. This was my first offense and I honestly felt like I made a mistake and didn't want this to hurt my chances of success in the future as far as having a record or doing any serious jail time, losing my job and having to be away form my family. I hired Matt to represent me in a case involving a school and a fellow student's false accusations against me. Without going into too much detail about the case itself, I can say that Matt was an unexpected blessing. Not only did he immediately want to listen to my side and hear me out, he also realized from our first meeting that this entire situation had devastated me. My husband and I were having problems with a tenant not paying rent. We decided we had enough and went in to see Mr. Geringer. Their office was not only knowable about evictions but gave us different approaches we would take to get the tenants out. When my husband and I finally decided which way to proceed Mr. Geringer was able to get the 3 Day Notice prepared and posted that same day. We ended up getting the tenants out and a money Judgment within 2 weeks. I would definitely recommend this attorney to anyone who is tired of getting the run around from tenants.
