I was in a pretty bad spot. I had, in hindsight, said some things I shouldn't have said had I known the trouble it would bring. Nevertheless, I called someone out for shady activity online and I ended up entangled in a lawsuit over it.
I went to a list of lawyers who were willing to help people in a situation not unlike mine and found Mudd Law. After speaking with Charles he agreed to take my case at a really reasonable price and let me work out a fair payment plan. This case could have financially ruined me for the foreseeable future and I needed help badly.
Mr. Mudd was very helpful and personable right from the first phone call and I was very comfortable explaining the situation and following the sensible advice he offered. I quickly lost the notion I was dealing with a "lawyer" but was instead dealing with a real person who had a personal and professional interest in helping me solve my problem without trying to fleece me in the process.
In the end we were all able to come up with an amicable solution to the problem and it didn't break me financially. I also learned some lessons from my own actions and the guidance I received on how to not end up in a situation like this again, or, if I do, how to handle it better and more importantly, who to turn to if I need real legal console.
Thanks again for all your help. You helped walk me through a nightmare and come out stronger on the other side. I'll never forget your kindness and professionalism.

i was really scared and hit up dozens of lawyers and when i got in contact with Mike i immediately knew he was the guy i needed
he works fast and effectively; knows everyone; and knows all the mechanics needed to orchestrate a win
someone i love was wrapped up in a dispute and stuck in jail - ihad no idea what to do but Mike called up a few places and found him immediately - Mike nailed the trial proceeding and later that day they were out of jail and ok - i couldn't believe how lucky i got finding Mike
this was probably the scariest day of my life and Mike saved us all while being an absolute pleasure to work with

I hired Mr Cheronis to represent me on a Class X gun offense with a 6-year minimum sentence. Mr. Cheronis reviewed the evidence, and filed motions to suppress evidence and statements. He thoroughly and successfully cross-examined the police officer who violated my 4th and 5th amendment rights. Afterthe judge threw out the evidence following the hearing, my case was dismissed. This lawyer saved me from a 6-year prison term. My advice: hire this man. He knows what he’s doing and is extremely good at it.

I am eternally grateful for Janaan and the service she provided with helping me get 2 criminal records expunged and 1 sealed. I consulted with many attorneys before contacting Janaan and always left those conversations feeling hopeless. This was not the case with Janaan. When she and I met, she understood my needs and thoroughly explained the process and laws as it pertained to my situation. She was consistent with providing updates and was always reassuring. Attorney Nenye Uche is amazing. I had a dui bench trial at the Daley center in courtroom 403 today. Attorney Uche cross examined the hell out of both CPD Officers. He destroyed their testimony in court. The Judge came back with a NOT GUILTY verdict! Attorney Uche was worth every penny. Very grateful and thankful.

Attorney Uche was phenomenal! I was wrongfully accused of a gun violation even though I had a FOID card to have a gun. Attorney Uche got my charges thrown out. I looked at a lot of his reviews before hiring him, and I must say he really is what his reviews say. Mr Polinske was very straight forward and showed a excellent knowledge of the process that would be followed in my case. In our first phone call he described in detail how my case would progress and the timeframe he laid out for the case was right on the money. A truly wonderful lawyer! My family and I had a MV accident case, and Mr. Coffman took his time to fight for us in every way possible. My 1st instinct was to give 1 star, but I settled on 2. That extra star is for the fact that when Cynthia was representing my daughter in a wrongful termination, she was very good. Unfortunately, she dropped us under false pretenses and had left us hanging out to dry. Paid $500 a year ago. Our contract said the $500 would cover the initial EEOC filing, representation at all interviews and possible mediation. In return, if we ended up settling, she would get 50%. After all the papers were initially filed, our EEOC case became a waiting game. With nothing going on in our case, In April, we got an email from Cynthia stating for medical reasons, she can no longer represent us. She did nothing to let EEOC know. As far as we knew, the case could take months before it moved forward, so we just continued to wait. Jump to late November, we were contacted by EEOC to schedule our first interview for 12/5/24. I thought maybe whatever medical issues Cynthia had 7 months ago had been resolved, so I emailed her. No response after a week, so I called her office explaining the whole situation and seeing if Cynthia or anyone could represent us during the interview. Last Wednesday I was promised a call back - never got it. Yesterday (Monday) I received email from Cynthia that she was "still preparing for surgery". I called again after getting the email and was promised a call back - again no call back. Called again today and I'm now waiting on a callback (for the 3rd time). While I'm waiting, I came here to Google Reviews and I see all these reviews dating back to 6 months ago all the way up until 7 days ago. So, this confirms my suspicions that she is no longer taking a medical leave (if she ever was). If no one from her firm is going to attend the interview on Thursday, I would like the truth as to why she dropped us. Cynthia said she was so confident in our case that she was waiving the initial retainer (I think $10k) if we end up going to court. So, did she drop us because it was a bad case or because it was a good case and she wanted to backout of the promise to waive the retainer. I also don't know if she still expects 50% of any possible settlement. This is so frustrating.
