I was recommended to Mr. Tam by a fellow co-worker which found him through the internet. Mr. Tam helped me with a garnishment, and also with my bankruptcy (ch 7). I owed over 24k, and for a fraction of the cost he got it done. Very professional, and he knows the system very well.
Just make sure you have your case number when you contact him if your being garnished.

Dan was amazing. He took on my case to quash a default judgement that I had received. The default judgement was received without proper process service and in the wrong venue.
Dan interviewed me, created an Affidavit and wrote a 24 page motion to dismiss. The motion was extremely well written. Within days of submitting to the court the judgment was vacated and the case dismissed.

I took on Ms. Barros to help me in my Disolution of Marriage (Divorce). She worked very hard for me. She was always in contact with me via phone or email. She was very patient, explained the processes and was very thorough during negotiations and while going over the various documents required for divorce proceedings. I felt comfortable with her and she was always pleasant and kind. She will stand up for you and get the best results possible. I was very close to making one of the worst decisions ever when it comes to debt collectors and letting the courts talk me into accepting a judgement which would have opened me up to serious financial consequences. Several letters had arrived from different firms to offer their services, but only one was sent by someone that took the time to handwrite my name on the envelope. That doesn't sound like much, but to me that was the difference. Power Law Firm got me a settlement with the debt collector that was a tenth of what i would habe been responsible for if i had just accepted the judgement. Attorney Bryan is the real deal!! After speaking with him regarding a matter of credit card debt settlement for my mother, he was very transparent with the options available, the service that he would provide, and what the outcome would be. Turns out that we didn't need Bryan to represent for my mom after all, but I'm posting this review to let you know that any other attorney would've saw this as an opportunity for easy money and would've taken her case. Bryan didn't do that. He equipped us with valuable information that we needed to handle what we were facing on our own instead of taking this case, and setting my mom up for future unnecessary payments (to the creditors). I was beyond grateful!! So glad that I made the call. His assistant, Ms. Terri, was very kind and such a pleasure to talk to. She made me feel comfortable speaking with her (like I had known her for years) and she took her time and didn't rush to get info and get me off the phone. Our family hired Mr. Prentice to protect my mother’s assets from the 10k per month bill she was receiving from her nursing facility. Mr. Prentice swiftly stopped this bill from continuing and saved her hard earned savings. Our family paid Mr. Prentice quite a bit, but it was 100% worth it! Jack Gordon of Maney & Gordon, represented me in what was one of the most difficult and heart wrenching experiences of my life; the wrongful death of my youngest daughter due to gross negligence on the part of a hospital.
Jack worked very hard and diligently for me and more importantly, for my daughter. He was so well prepared to try the case that he very much wanted to take the case to trial. As a preliminary step before trial, we entered mediation with the defendant hospital. Jack negotiated very persistently on our behalf and we were able to reach an agreeable settlement. Having known Jack for many years on a personal level, I immediately turned to him when I was faced with a serious legal matter in April 2015. I have worked as an IT director for two major Law Firms for 30 years and I know the business well. Susan Rooth was initially hired by my parents to prepare the standard paperwork for estate planning. This was done with a high degree of competence at very fair rates. Approximately five years ago, it become clear that my parents, in their mid 80s, could no longer care for themselves. In a meeting with me and my wife to review some of the paperwork, Susan took a very active role and helping me find home care resources that fortunately we could afford, and stay involved up through today to see that they were well cared for. They have both since passed away, and Susan and her staff did an excellent job in assisting me with handling both estates, and she is still assisting today. It was a lot of work that would have been very difficult for me to do on my own. Her rates continue to be very fair and her staff is highly competent and responsive. Also, she is well known by many of the local banks and that made things go much smoother when needed.
Although as stated, her Firm provides an excellent work product at reasonable rates, what I am most impressed with about Susan and what motivates me to write this review is the level of personal interest and compassion that she displays for her clients and the level of assistance and concern she has that goes far beyond the basic provision of legal services. It is truly exceptional, and I say this as someone who has been in the industry. Overall, for anyone with aging parents who needs these services, or in need of estate planning for the themselves, I offer this unqualified recommendation - you will not find anyone better, or more caring and helpful on a personal level.

Recently I had to put my father in a nursing home. I lived out of state and was unprepared for how quickly he went downhill. With no funds to pay for a nursing home, he needed Medicaid. I called several attorneys and I felt like just another number until I called Susan. Susan and her assistant Shelly made me feel like one of the family. They were very sympathetic to my emotional and financial situation. They explained everything clearly and walked me through the process. Whenever I had a question, they were always there for me. I was amazed how quickly they were able to get Medicaid approval. I would highly recommend them.

Recently, I called Patricia Carbone, Esq. to request an appointment hoping to discuss my IRS dilemma. To my surprise, I was able to speak to Attorney Carbone directly at that moment and we immediately entered into an initial question and answer dialogue. After a 30 minute conversation, Attorney Carbone explained to me, with great clarity, my position and the options that were available to me in order to resolve my case with the IRS. She explained how she could help me through the collection process including but not limited to the review and filing of documentation with the IRS, application preparation and submission, communications, and negotiations. She further described the efforts and action she would take on my behalf to minimize and where possible, limit my financial exposure to them. After about 30 minutes on the phone call, we ended the conversation and I hung feeling I had found just the right professional to represent and protect my financial and legal interests. To make a long story short, my IRS problem has been resolved.

Drew Clayton represented me and my wife at an arbitration hearing in which we were claiming improper handling of our investments by brokers Raymond James. He readily grasped our problem, prepared most meticulously and carefully explained our fee options, ie either contingency or hourly billing.
The hearing ran for several days at a hotel in which all concerned stayed. It seemed to us that Drew and his assistant worked continously on our behalf, laboring on the case until late each evening. His performance throughout was most professional and compared very favorably with that of our opponents' lawyers. We prevailed in the matter and were awarded a decent amount of recompense.

My frustration had been growing in thinking I had no recourse against an unscrupulous broker who had taken advantage of me and husband. I found Matt Thibault when investigating the questionable stock recommended by my (then) broker. Ironically, there was a link on their website to Matt's firm for victims of investment fraud. With just one phone call, he set my case in motion, which ultimately resulted in recovery of my loss. Matt is thorough, and speaks in a manner which a layman can understand. We went to her for estate planning and Eileen held our hand through it all. We had no idea where to start or even if we should do it. But you really have no idea how much there is to consider, even if everyone is healthy and you don't have "that much." There's stuff you don't even think about! I needed a special attorney to handle a complex case involving probate, guardianship, sale of realestate, income tax and asset management.
