Kevin took my DUI case and represented me both in court and at the DMV. He showed his knowledge of the process and of the individuals at each level in the courts and at the DMV. Unfortunately the prosecutor wasnt open to any kind of plea bargaining on the day I was there and I got what I deserved. But Kevin helped to negotiate various means to soften the blow. Kevin gave good advice in terms of the options open to me to have my case heard before a jury. He understood well what I was going through and was sympathetic.

Doug was upfront with me from our initial consultation and saw my cxase through from beginning to end. Unlike many other criminal defense attorneys, Doug doesn't try and pull this "extra fee required if you are held to answer after your Prelim Hearing." When he quotes you your fee, that is the fee regardless of whether your case goes to trial or is settled beforehand. Doug gets the job done and is nothing but honest and upfront with his clients all the way. I highly recommend him to anyone who finds themselves in legal trouble here in Santa Barbara.

Mark DeVore did an amazing job. I had another defense attorney who was pretty bad. I hired Mark after I entered a bad plea deal. He stepped in and helped me straighten things out. Afterwards, he helped me get my record expunged. He took a very active role in defending me, always explained to me what he was doing and why, and always planned for the worst case scenario. I hope I'll never need a defense attorney again, but if I do, I'm calling this guy.

My friend hired keith in 2017 for a serious charge out of North court, O.C. His priors made this a difficult case. But keith negotiated a deal for 2 years and got the low term which is a miracle. An excellent attorney. It's a surprise that Mr. Waggener isn't rated higher. I was facing 14years for a crime I didn't commit (meaning I was charged with multiple charges 1 I was rightful guilty for but the other 3 counts falsely) they had a victim that wrongly I.D me as the suspect, & Not only did Mr. Waggener prove that the Victim made false testimony by wrongfully identifying me, Mr. Waggener also proved that the POLICE DETECTIVE couched the Victim & advised the victim that I was the suspect. I was arrested on a felony charge under a highly questionable legal basis. The charge was reduced to a misdemeanor, but the prosecution continued. Ms. Slone moved to have charges dropped for illegal search and seizure, but the judge refused. Ms. Slone filed an appeal, and the appellate court ruled in our favor. In an unusual circumstance, the three judge panel ruled unanimously. Ms. Slone is professional, yet friendly, and she sure got the job done for me. Highly recommended.
