Caring for an aging parent is an honor....but also one of the most stressful life events one can face. When my sisters and I were met with the challenges of conservatorship and moving mom into a residential facility our stress levels were understandably high. We found ourselves in unchartered waters. Attorney Hawkins handled my car accident case in 2010. He kept me up to date on all aspects of the claim and answered many questions I had. The process of litigation can take very long and can be dragged out but with Attorney Hawkins keeping me updated on the case it seemed to go by quickly. Stuart has 2 cases for me. In 2009, he handled my car accident case, and kept me informed of everything that was going on with my case. If I was unsure about anything he was talking about, he took the time to explain all the terms that I was unclear about. I never felt like he forgot about my case or that I wasn't getting the attention I needed. He was right there any time there was a new development in the case, I and was immediately informed. He gave me great advice on what was coming, and what to expect. He settled the case and I was very happy with the results!
In 2011, he also handled my child custody case. He fought for everything that I wanted, and made sure that I was happy with the outcome. When I told him I wanted the child support portion to go through the state Child Support Enforcement Division, he was very clear, and expressed to the judge all of the facts that supported that portion of my case.
I would recommend Stuart to anyone, for both Motor Vehicle accidents, and family court issues!

Mr. Seeger was recommended to me by a friend a work, and I must say he was excellent and helping me straighten out my automotive/ driving permit legal issues.
I was facing what I considered to be a serious reckless charge though not a DWI. Not a serious charge but nonetheless, through his advice and counsel, I was able to rectify my issues and allowed me to retain my permit and keep working without having to turn to public transport.

I hired Conrad as my attorney for the sale of my home and the purchase of a new home. He did a great job in both instances however with the buying process he went more than above and beyond. I worked with what ended up being a very complicated and unorganized lender and Conrad and his team worked more than overtime to accommodate all their, at times, excessive requests. An example of the extra work put in by Conrad was going to the town hall after business hours in order to record the deed. I can honestly say I do not feel I would have been able to close on my house in the timeline I did if it were not for Conrad. My family was out of a home and we were in desperate need to close and be able to move into our new home and Conrad and his team work tirelessly to ensure we were able to close as quickly as possible. If I could give more than 5 stars I would and I wholeheartedly recommend Conrad as an attorney.

Attorney Readyoff represented us in a LL/tenant matter (as property owners) and we are confident his careful and measured approach was crucial in the matter being resolved quickly and without complication.
I was angry about the issue we brought to him, and without judgement of my emotions, he suggested a solution that initially seemed very procedural to me, but we fully committed to his recommendation.
Once he started the process, things changed drastically with the tenant. In ways, it appeared very little happened, but it made all the difference: we regained possession of the property. He never personally contacted the tenant and reminded us not to engage them.
Such matters are never comfortable, but Dan's professionalism and graciousness toward everyone made things manageable. I really respect the way he handled this matter, and I appreciate the outcome.

I have had a mental health condition for over 25 years now and because I often refused to take my medication I racked up a pretty extensive criminal history. A rap sheet. When I received charges of Robbery, Threatening, and Assault I feared I would be doing some more jail time probably like a year or so.
Fortunately, a bail bondsman recommended Attorney Klein to my wife. We had a consultation with him. After reading the police report and asking me a few questions Atty. Klein immediately noticed that there was no Robbery and no way that a judge would convict me on that charge. Right away he was going to take the felony out of the equation. He also said that because there were mitigating circumstances he could probably get the two misdemeanors of 2nd degree Threatening and 3rd degree Assault reduced to probation. I was confident in his ability after speaking with him and seeing some of his testimonials on the wall in his waiting room. So we retained him.
In the first meeting with the prosecutor, the prosecutor brought to the surface that I had fourteen convictions. I was worried, but confident in my counsel. Atty. Klein did just what he said he was going to do and he got the Robbery charge thrown out. So now we were left with two charges, one of them being violent. Atty. Klein told the prosecutor we could settle with a short amount of probation.
I was still a little worried that the prosecutor might not agree to my Attorney's proposal but Atty. Klein informed me that the prosecutor was considering it based on how the victim reacted.
So we had to wait longer while the victim's advocate did their job. It turns out God was with me because the victim did not want to condemn me but just to see me get some help.
So when all the dust finally cleared after long continuances do to Covid 19. Atty. Klein did exactly what he said he could do in his consultation and the Robbery charge was dismissed and I was able to plead out to two misdemeanors and ended up with a short probation. At the time I was eligible for a public defender, but after years of dealing with court system I know that had I chose to take that course my outcome would not have been as good. A public defender also known as public pretender in the incarceration system and is a state's attorney just as a prosecutor is a state's attorney. In my experience they are just there to facilitate ease of operations between the judge and the prosecutor and the accused. They don't take the time to really hear you out or fight for your case.
If you are facing charges spend the money and hire a good private attorney because in the long run you'll be glad you did.
And if you need to hire a good private attorney hire Atty. Klein in Hartford. He is a powerful lawyer with almost 50 years of experience. He was able to keep me out of jail and he can do it for you too.

Attorney Sobin recently represented me on my motor vehicle accident case, and I have to say that his work ethic combined with his empathy was extraordinary. He treated me as if my case were the only one on his desk, which I know was the farthest thing from the truth. Where to begin, because I didn't when I got arrested and falsely charged with a dui. I called a couple other lawyers and firms and didn't have any good feelings about who I talked to, felt like they just wanted my money. Tamar gave me excellent advise and made me have no worries proceeding forward with her representation.
