My experience with Allen Vellone Wolf Helfrich & Factor has been beyond great. They dug into the issues of my case and discovered things in my favor that go far beyond what other defendants in the same case appear to have missed or not seriously considered. My opinions of Jim Helfrich and Kate Sender go beyond my ability to express. The best I can say is that I trust them to do their absolute best, which I believe they have done. No bullshit.
They haven’t always told me what I want to hear, but they have always considered my opinion and that has been reflected in the things they have produced on my behalf. My case is not over, but they believe in me and have taken my side with the best they have to offer. Their rates are fair, and I have never had the feeling they were fabricating hours as so many law firms do, especially the law firm that is attacking me. I suspect I will have more to add to this review in the future.

Harris Law Firm has done a wonderful job on my divorce. I would like to thank Kim Gent and her paralegal Maureen McAllister for all the hard work they have done. Dealing with the back and forth with the petitioner and their attorney and really paying attention and handling the responses from the petitioner, her attorney. I was really glad that Kim and Maureen got them to settle out of court to where we wouldn't have to make an appearance. I am still working with Kim and Maureen because there are some other things the petitioner still has to sign and get notarized. I like that they still want to help until every little things are completely done. Even though the divorce is over and I don't want to have any contact with the petitioner, and they understand that. Kim and Maureen have always listened to me and gave their opinion and figure out our strategy on how to approach the situation. If you ever need a great attorney and Paralegal call Harris Law Firm and ask for attorney Kim Gent and Paralegal Maureen McAllister they are the best.

We recently moved Jarret and his bill is yet to be paid. If your looking for a lawyer don't look here. We reimbursed him 22.50 for a 4-6 dollar planter. He owes us over a thousand dollars and we may have to take him to small claims court. I can't say he's a bad lawyer because I'm not sure but if you are serviced and your only gripe is a 6 dollar planter that we told you we felt uncomfortable moving was broke. Then you found a way to not pay while it looks like you did. Jarret Benson has no morals. Find a lawyer who will have a ethical code.

I can't speak to the other lawyers at this firm, but I had a very disturbing experience with Andrew Castle, who represented one of my friends in a relatively high profile case. Unfortunately, my friend was found guilty on all 7 counts. And my friend and I weren't really sure of what to do. I asked him if there was any way I could use my platform to try to help? And my friend said that it might help, but that we should first ask his lawyer Andrew, before doing anything. We had agreed that this was a good idea, and I sent an email asking what Andrew thought, making it very clear that I wouldn't do anything if that made him or my friend uncomfortable.
When I asked Andrew if using my platform would be of any use, Andrew's response was very aggressive. I asked him why he was being aggressive, when I already had agreed to not doing anything that he didn't feel comfortable with. To my surprise, his response was to tell me to stop talking to his client, my friend, while he was in custody.
It was a very jarring experience as I simply wanted to try to help my friend, and again, had no interest in doing anything that would make my friend or Andrew feel uncomfortable.
I also found this to be very disturbing, as I imagine being in jail is tough, and someone in jail might want to have as many friends as possible to talk to. However, because I didn't want to further anger Andrew, I and others stopped talking to our friend until he was out of custody. I think that's an incredibly horrible and cruel position to put all of us in, as we simply wanted to provide emotional support throughout an incredibly tough time.
I found Andrew to be extremely insecure, aggressive, and unprofessional. If you or someone you care about is going through a legal process, it's generally a very painful time, and having a lawyer lash out in these ways really adds to the stress of that. I would highly recommend finding a lawyer who can treat others in a professional manner, or at least with a kind mentality.

Barry went above and beyond in so many ways. As his client, I was expecting professionalism and efficiency - both of which he executed flawlessly. What I was not expecting was how well he not only managed my expectations of my case, but the extent to which he made me feel heard, believed in my innocence and how understanding he was of the mental health impact that my situation was having on me. He provided me with the perfect amount of urgency in getting on top of the matter while also providing a sense of calm to keep me level-headed. My case was immediately dismissed at pre-trial - all thanks to the level of attention to detail and the clarity in which he presented my case to the DA. I cannot recommend his services enough & am so thankful for all the work he did to return my life back to normal.

I cannot say thank you enough for the outstanding work Tony, Michelle, and David did for me on a legal malpractice case against another local attorney for the horrible and unprofessional representation provided in another case. It is not an easy process and the other side with their unlimited resources provided by the deep pockets of a malpractice insurance company made it seem like an uphill battle with no end, but Tony and his team were there guiding me every step of the way as any great attorney and their team should. That unfortunately wasn’t my experience with the previous representation so it was a breath of fresh air to work with Tony and his team. Tony offered sound, professional advice and was realistic in the outcome which I greatly appreciated. The last thing I needed was someone throwing unreasonable outcomes at me and pumping me up with false hope. Our case settled in mediation and every penny recovered was a win after going through such a bad situation and unfortunate circumstances. I’m thankful for Tony and his team and am now able to get a bit of closure so I can move forward and leave this behind.

From the time I contacted Mr. Carr until our date in front of the judge, Chris showed professionalism by knowing the law, my rights, and communicating all aspects of my case to me. In front of the judge, he explained the facts of the case in the same manner as I told them to him. Mr. Carr understands the legal process and has an appreciation for it more than most attorneys I have ever met. By representing a criminal case, there is an obligation to the client but also an obligation to the truth. Chris is fair and accurate on both accounts. Getting a more than fair judgment is what you will get if you work with Chris and his firm. There are very few folks that are willing to fight so hard for a client knowing that some clients make it impossible. I have seen that first hand in many court rooms and just appreciate his integrity and advice. He is always willing to take time to listen and recommend options, but at the same time he does allow clients like me to make the final decision. He will settle or go to trial depending on client wishes, but only after he explains the legal process and the reality of the outcomes on both ends.

Chris did a great job on a speeding ticket I received a couple of years ago. He was able to plead my speeding ticket down so it would not go on my record. He saved my driving record and prevented my insurance from sky rocketing. Chris has also provided me some great advise on a recent photo enforcement ticket for a red light violation.
Chris was straight forward with his fees, and what he could do for me in my situation. He is the lawyer I trust to go to if I am in a legal situation and my first call for legal advise.

Eric is an OK lawyer, he definitely seemed more in it for a pay check rather than the clients situation. I hardly talked to him throughout my case and he never contacted me to keep me informed until the actual court dates. In 2008 Mr. Fenster represented my father in his third DUI. I attended the trial and was amazed at his heart felt plea to the judge. Mr. Fenster had taken the time to get to know his client on a personal level and was able to convey to the judge my fathers special circumstances and keep him out of jail. He has since represented my father on financial matters with the same result. Mr. Fenster is extremely intelligent with a charismatic heart to get the job done.

I met Mr Eldridge 30yrs ago at the time he handled 3 cases did excellent job.
Recently, I was represented by Wade Eldridge in a court case where I was falsely accused and was facing three years in jail. I felt betrayed scared and small up again such accusations. Wade Not only took my case and helped me through this trying situation. He showed compassion and heartfelt case for me as a person he became my protector. He was there for me in my difficulties like no one else was, and he fought hard to bring me justice and defend my innocence, all through this he rest assured me that he would be there for me and give me his best effort, even though he had many other cases I always felt that I was important to him and he is going to save me as it all turned out he did be protecting me so very well that I was given no jail time at all, and even after the case Was ended he pursuing some injustice he discovered on my behalf. I got in a car accident where my car was totalled and my wrist and hand were broken. The other driver was at fault and I knew I needed a lawyer to help with this. I went to see a handful of lawyers about this and it didn’t feel right until I met Wade. Wade took the time to explain the process we would go through in detail. Wade & his paralegal Dawn are absolutely awesome. Dawn is unbelievable at organizing things and requesting what she needs from you. I don’t know how she keeps it all together. I was referred to Jeff by one of my clients who is also a real estate investor and fix n flip guy. When I first met with Jeff, he gave me his background of experience in this scope of law. He then explained how construction defect cases work as well as the ins and outs of how to navigate through one successfully. He thought from the beginning that there was no real claim but that we had to fight this as fraud and conspiracy were being charged. Long story short, we went to mediation and settled for less than what my attorney fees would have been to fight this. Btw, this dragged on for almost a year before we got to this point. While I didn't like the idea of settling as I felt that I did everything right in the sale of the home, the thought of wasting time and money in a trial made the outcome much more tolerable.

Mr Wittebort, is a great divorce attorney. He was straight forward and "honest". When I was asking for some unreasonable request he let me know that it would not be allowed in the divorce guidelines. When I got to court my husband asked for everything and I walked away with every I wanted. My daughter had divorced and was having trouble with her ex-husband, he was trying to take custody of their son from my daughter. Her previous lawyer did not seem to be very knowledgeable in the area of family law nor did she seem to care what happened and made a bad situation even worse. She didn't seem to care about what happened to the child or my daughter.
With Jeff's knowledge and years of experience he was able to over come the mistake that had been made by the previous lawyer and come to a resolution that was best for the child and fair for both my daughter and her ex-husband.
I have been in law enforcement for 18 years. In my experience I believe that Jeff is one of the best lawyers I have worked with.

I've contacted Matt over a criminal situation that was just never ending, he gave me free advice assisting me with the case multiple phone calls and still said to call him him if I needed anything. He didn't turn down my case, but said that for the type of case I would likely be offered a pretty good deal for my circumstances and hiring him would just be an extra burden. He did say if anything happened to give him a call or if something weird happens in court that he will take my case no problem. It is refreshing to be able to talk directly to an attorney and not be transferred from secretary to paralegal to voicemail and to be given good advice for free. While I may not need him this time, if anything in the future comes up I would retain him. I would also recommend him to friends and family for any criminal matters.

I hired him for a simple thing. He was late. He was sloppy. He was incredibly condescending to everyone. Every document had tons of spelling errors and mistakes.
If you google him you find a lot of troubling information about him.
I would not recommend this attorney.

Mr. Israel hired me to perform work for him as a process server on his various cases. Towards the end of 2022, beginning of 2023 Mr. Israel stopped responding to my calls, emails, etc.
Mr. Israel does not contact me, return any communication, respond to third party debt collectors, law enforcement, or any other person I have reach out to him.
**2024 update**
Mr Israel now has a judgment against him for invoices owed to me. A court has found that he did in fact owe me money, that he did in fact not pay, and failed to follow the court ordered stipulation agreement. He continues to refuse to pay, defying court orders, judges orders, and the legal process entirely. I will continue to update this review as the process continues.

I was charged with 3 felonies looking at 12 years in prison on one charge. We tried to explain to the DA that I had an alibi, location history with Google and proved that I was in bed at the time of this alleged incident. I was 2 days away from going to trial when district attorney filed a motion to dismiss. He was there all the way and always responded and worked hard to get keep me out of jail.
