Charlie did a great job trying to defend my case. Although the DUI did not get dropped, he did get my careless driving dropped. DA was not budging on jail time. Danny stepped in at my last courtdate, and was able to get me IHD. On that, I was thankful. I feel I did get my $'s worth from this team. They really do try to get the best deal possible. I would say I would use them again. However I will not need their services in the future. As I will NEVER LET THIS HAPPEN TO ME AGAIN. Colorado has become tougher through the years for DUI. The cost alone with everything involved is not worth admitting to having a few drinks and refusing Breathalyzer or Blood tests! If you are ever in this situation, call these guys. They are not the cheapest, but also not the most expensive. It is worth having this team of lawyers by your side through this process.

I was wrongly charged with domestic violence when I was the victim but, because I did not call to report an incident, the police believed the fabricated lie. I was arrested and forced to go through the most embarrassing process I have ever experienced in my life, all the while, feeling like a criminal when I didn’t do anything wrong.
After I posted bail, I new I needed help with this fight and began looking for defense attorneys, which was when I found Mike.
When I met with Mike and broke down the whole story, he thought it was a great case to take all the way to trial. He was very honest and let me know that the DA will try to ‘sweeten’ the plea deal, at every disposition. He said there is a good chance the charges would get dropped before trial but, it could take all summer and may not be dismissed until an hour before trial. He told me to prepare myself and expect it to go to trial.
We were all set for trial and Mike couldn’t wait for his opportunity to cross examine. Just before trial, he made one last attempt to get the DA to look at all the evidence. Finally, the DA listened and the evidence that Mike presented, was enough to dismiss the case. Just as he prepared me for what to expect, the case was dropped an hour before trial.
Although the whole situation cost me a lot of money, time, embarrassment, heartache, etc... I couldn’t have done it without Mike. He was always available when I had questions or needed to run something by him. His price is much more appealing than several of the others that I had tried calling.
Overall, Mike Boyce is a true professional, very candid, and someone you can trust!

Kathryn was a terrible lawyer.
I originally talked to Jenn on the phone and was impressed. I ended up with Kathryn, she did nothing but collect a paycheck. Took my case to pre trial for absolutely no reason, as I would’ve been happy pleading out early in the case. She was rude, condescending when spoken with, never responded to messages, I waited a month after requesting an updated bill to get a bill from two months ago. I wish I would’ve gone on AVVO and read the reviews of her.
Spot on!
Run as fast as you can from her representation. What a waste of time and money.

Mr. Cross you did a fantastic job you were very clear on the entire process and what needed to get where we wanted the deal to get to. A great negotiator and honestly a stand up gentleman with knowledge that's impressive with case law and the process of court proceedings. Mr. Cross was very patient however very informative on how to navigate this case. He keeps in contact on a regular basis and will even give some encouragement on your well being, sobriety and goals you may have set. I'm going to try and refrain from writing an essay about ms. Ivy's representation, but it truly needs an essay to properly relay the true level of dedication, effort and professionalism portrayed by her in my case. Ms. Ivy took my case which was considered a little short of impossible to secure a favorable outcome by legal standards, and of which I was constantly reminded of by other lawyers. but I thank God all mighty and all wise for placing my case in such a professional, hard working, dedicated, smart and admirable lawyers hands. I myself was resigned to the unfavorable outcome as I knew it was a little short of impossible to win my case, but at trial it became appearant that ms. Ivy was more then prepared for the prosecution and the judges line of question and thinking. Charlie did a great job trying to defend my case. Although the DUI did not get dropped, he did get my careless driving dropped. DA was not budging on jail time. Danny stepped in at my last courtdate, and was able to get me IHD. On that, I was thankful. I feel I did get my $'s worth from this team. They really do try to get the best deal possible. I would say I would use them again. However I will not need their services in the future. As I will NEVER LET THIS HAPPEN TO ME AGAIN. Colorado has become tougher through the years for DUI.
