Evan handled my case. He is a local attorney who skis and worked my case digitally. In particular I was impressed with his tech ability, directness, and ability to stick to his stated timelines throughout our case. Very satisfied in result, to which he gave comps for recent cases. He also showed his kindness and ability to show his appreciation with thank yous to an attorney friend that referred me, and by sending personal cards and talking about skiing after our case was done. I hope to keep him as a resource for any encounters in the future, on the slopes or elsewhere.

Does Olson Law use a call center to answer their phones? I had someone named Jalen, an extremely young male, answer that didn't tell me where he was answering the phone at and didn't answer even one question i asked, he just kept kinda using a script. He said he was a receptionist for Olson Law, but did not sound like someone id let answer a phone. I needed to know if i had already called this particular firm and if so what they're reason for not filing a complaint or getting one started was. I have a TBI im almost done with but finding a lawyer to get started on that while still receiving care as a legal newbie is hard work because im not getting hepful people (across the board) im getting push back instead. Like someone should be like omg lets get started, ill start the review, you continue care, and ill ask questions along the way before i start a complaint. But im not getting that. im getting a lot of pointless conversation. If im in the wrong location, maybe someone can point me in the right direction. Is it the city, the neighborhood, is the case too hard, are they too busy, is there a conflict of interest with the hospital im suing or something? Like scared to sue? I dont get it... Its JUST a lawsuit that needs to get filed. Is it the Denver area? Are they like no, she doesnt live in this neighborhood so im not dealing with this? Like family oriented? Im so confused right now.

I’m rating based on my full years experience with Amelia. While things went great at first- Amelia was very cordial, professional, and empathetic, she saw where I was being mishandled by law enforcement and treated with contempt by them by way of discrimination. She understood that I was being challenged by not only my case, but the bias and prejudice of the courts. She was able to adapt to all of this and got me a great outcome a year ago.
Now I am at the end of the end of this litigious tunnel, and I’ve sought her counsel again to see it through, having filled all of the requirements on my end to do so in the timeframe allotted. I’m not an attorney nor do I portend to know all the ins and outs of the legal system. I don’t know if I need an attorney to represent me to close out my case, but with the system already having a historic prejudice against people like me, I felt it better safe than sorry to be prepared.
This is where it’s all gone sour. I’ve always presented money up front because I don’t expect free counsel. I’ve always just asked how much money Amelia would want to review the same case she represented me on this time last year. If not to represent me, I’d be just as happy to pay to receive her input on what I should expect and what I need to bring to close out my case. That could be as little as 15m-1hr.
My case is due for review in August. This month. I’ve been trying to reach her through her office for months intermittently/ passively, at most 1 email per month, until this past week where I wanted to give it one concerted effort to establish contact. I called the office twice, left two emails, and received the offices answering service once.
We had a 15m consultation scheduled which she no-call no-showed for. Her office assistant thought that was weird and said he left her a message, which also went unanswered. The emails- one to Amelia and one to her assistant, both went unanswered. The answering service said that they’d pass the message along that I was trying to reach her, which also went unanswered.
That was a waste of days of my time I could’ve used trying to find an attorney that was willing to see things through to the end. If Amelia had something against me personally and didn’t want to take the case- the professional thing to do would be to say as much so I’m not spinning wheels on something that isn’t going to budge. Even hearing as much from the paraprofessionals or office staff would have sufficed. My time is valuable, too. Ghosting isn’t a professional behavior. What a sad outcome to end this experience with.

I can't speak to the other lawyers at this firm, but I had a very disturbing experience with Andrew Castle, who represented one of my friends in a relatively high profile case. Unfortunately, my friend was found guilty on all 7 counts. And my friend and I weren't really sure of what to do. I asked him if there was any way I could use my platform to try to help? And my friend said that it might help, but that we should first ask his lawyer Andrew, before doing anything. We had agreed that this was a good idea, and I sent an email asking what Andrew thought, making it very clear that I wouldn't do anything if that made him or my friend uncomfortable.
When I asked Andrew if using my platform would be of any use, Andrew's response was very aggressive. I asked him why he was being aggressive, when I already had agreed to not doing anything that he didn't feel comfortable with. To my surprise, his response was to tell me to stop talking to his client, my friend, while he was in custody.
It was a very jarring experience as I simply wanted to try to help my friend, and again, had no interest in doing anything that would make my friend or Andrew feel uncomfortable.
I also found this to be very disturbing, as I imagine being in jail is tough, and someone in jail might want to have as many friends as possible to talk to. However, because I didn't want to further anger Andrew, I and others stopped talking to our friend until he was out of custody. I think that's an incredibly horrible and cruel position to put all of us in, as we simply wanted to provide emotional support throughout an incredibly tough time.
I found Andrew to be extremely insecure, aggressive, and unprofessional. If you or someone you care about is going through a legal process, it's generally a very painful time, and having a lawyer lash out in these ways really adds to the stress of that. I would highly recommend finding a lawyer who can treat others in a professional manner, or at least with a kind mentality.

Looks like my review was unfairly taken down....guess this firm wants to keep my families experience hush hush. I TESTIFIED in court on behalf of my brother and the custody over my two nieces, we had two family meetings with Tyler plus I sent him a very long and lengthy email in November of 2023 that he never replied to yet charged my father $350 to read, which I don't believe he even read my email. So if this firm is trying to claim my review is not valid because I didn't hire Tyler myself they are incorrect!!! I was a part of this entire journey so for Google to take down my review after this firm reported it is not OK as I was involved with this case from beginning to end.- so here is my review again!!!! ZERO stars!!!! My father and brother hired Tyler Lambert to help my brother win his custody battle with his two young daughters. Tyler many times was very hard to get in touch with and would ignore phone calls over and over again. I kept telling my dad and brother that they needed to hire a new attorney because Tyler did not have my brothers best interest at heart. I wish they would've taken me a little more seriously however they felt they had invested so much money in him already that they stuck by him. Tyler showed no evidence in court to help my brother out... We submitted text messages, social media posts, conversations, photos of our family over the last 16 years with my brothers daughters, etc...Tyler used none of it in court. He had so much proof on my ex sister in law and how her attorney was blowing everything out of proportion plus evidence that could have made my brother's ex look really bad and prove she's a liar - but Tyler provided none of it and when they were claiming untrue statements about my brother he didn't object, not one time!!!! Tyler told all of us that were testifying on the stand that we needed to "be nice" and say "nice things" about my ex sister in law and that we should NOT provide any family photos as this judge doesn't like seeing family photos. Meanwhile the other side TRASHED my brother and they also showed a ton of photos - clearly Tyler's advice was the worst we could have taken. The end result were my nieces moving away with their mother to Illinois and pinning my brother as a bad father. He's an amazing father. He just has a bitter and scorned ex-wife that wanted to hurt him so badly that she used her own children for leverage. Do not hire Tyler if you are going through a custody battle with children... He does not care and will not show proof and documentation of what you give him to help your case out. He basically collected a paycheck and nothing more. Now my brother's daughters are in a fatherless environment because he failed to do his job properly. Because of James, I am taking home a fraction of my income. Unfortunately, I didn’t realize how bad it was until firing him and employing new counsel. He is a nice man, but a bad lawyer. I was accused of a crime that threatened my reputation, my freedom, and my professional role when an embittered adolescent with social-emotional needs falsely accused me of physical assault. Having had very limited exposure to criminal proceedings previously, I had no idea what to expect and was, to say the least, terrified. Mr. Daniels was more than trustworthy, knowledgeable, and responsive, he was real. He provided me with the insight I required to maintain my sanity during an incredibly difficult time in my life. I feel incredibly lucky to have found Colleen Kelly, she is absolutely phenomenal. I was facing a bogus felony, and Colleen fought hard to defend me. Mr. Jeffrey Wolf and Wolf Law literally saved my life. Mr. Wolf is hands down the best attorney in the State of Colorado. Not only do his awards and recognitions take up more space than a standard studio apartment, he will work diligently to get you the single best Court outcome possible--my experience proves this.
Facing accusations of domestic violence (DV) not once, but twice, I phoned Mr. Wolf. (He responds to calls/emails within the HOUR, but no more than a day.) I was looking at the loss of my healthcare license, time in prison, and a future that I thought was no longer worth living.
I was on probation (a deal that I got from another attorney - big mistake) when I engaged Mr. Wolf following a second accusation of DV. I was looking at a minimum of 1 year jail, but likely closer to 2. I was devastated. However, the deal that Mr. Wolf got me was something out of a movie. Mr. Wolf knows the laws better than anybody else because he literally had to explain this unique, complex deal to not only the DA, but to the JUDGE. It seriously was like something that's mentioned in one paragraph of one law textbook--and Mr. Wolf was the only one who knew about it. I didn't even get probation! Nor did I violate my initial probation! All I had to do was stay out of additional trouble for a year, and it got dismissed! This required Mr. Wolf to extensively communicate with the DA's from both Counties, but also both Judges. Mr. Wolf is who you want on your side because he knows how to talk to whoever it may be to secure you the deal you need for your future.
As if that wasn't crazy enough, I crashed my car a few months later. Because I allowed a good samaritan to drive me the two minutes home, I was charged with Hit and Run. I was looking at another probation violation, and a violation of the "Stay out of Trouble" deal. I was looking at a minimum 2 years jail, all for crashing my car in the snow. When it was time for Court, Mr. Wolf had expertly identified a virtually unnoticeable discrepancy between the responding officer's report and the body cam footage. Because Mr. Wolf noticed this, the whole case was DISMISSED! Choose the lawyer that is going to find these minute details--Mr. Wolf.
It gets crazier - I was recovering from significant brain injuries throughout the entire case, which Mr. Wolf so kindly accommodated for (I needed lots of reminders, which Mr. Wolf provided). Because of this, I had trouble complying with the State-mandated DV treatment. I had gone from agency to agency, until eventually, the DA revoked my probation and recommended me for conviction and sentencing. I truly thought there was no way another miracle could happen, so I mentally prepared for jail. Clearly, I forgot I had Mr. Wolf on my side, because he secured me yet ANOTHER deal, this time even more complex. Mr. Wolf had convinced not only the DA on the other side of the State, but the Judge on the other side of the State to allow me a final chance under unique circumstances. He literally got them to agree to hold off on the Probation revocation, but still hold it over my head, and give me another chance at completing the DV treatment. All I had to do was complete the treatment, which I did, and it was DISMISSED!.
Because of Mr. Wolf and Wolf Law, I have a background check to prove none of this ever even happened. I was given a second chance at life because of Mr. Wolf. Here's what I can guarantee:

Matt Walker represented me for 3 misdemeanor DV charges in Jefferson County. He heard my case and told me not to take the plea deal. With his help my case was Dismissed before trial.
Matt was there to walk me through every step. If I needed him he was always just a text away and would call as soon as he was available.
He suggested to meet as the trial got closer, not to go over anything but to calm my nerves as this was my first time in any sort of trouble.

I called Matt about a dispute with my neighbor who had mailed me a letter threatening legl action. Matt met me for coffee the same day I called him.
