I had a lengthy property settlement and divorce. And she was one of the reasons we were able to keep it as amicable as possible. She first helped me through the Property Settlement. Followed by guiding me through the divorce that followed. Patience was the key to my particular situation. But I know if the situation had called for more feistiness, she would have been right at my side for that, too. Everything is finalized now. And I know things would have been far worse and more stressful if I hadn't had her in my corner.
Everyone at NOVA Legal Professionals that I've spoken with is kind and knowledgeable. I spoke most often with Corrie and Brenda Membreno (paralegal). Separation and divorce are, by their nature, unpleasant and emotional situations. But they were amazing at helping that sometimes complicated situation feel less overwhelming.
She was the only attorney I have ever hired on my own, for any situation. But I did a lot of research before I did so and I read a lot of reviews. Her specialties and the other reviews seemed to say she'd be a good match for my situation. And the consultation I had with her confirmed that for me. Divorce lends itself to a lot of complicated feelings, but hiring her was never one I felt torn about. I'll always be grateful to her for helping me through this.

My brother was hit in the of his truck on duty. The defendant and the cop in charge of reporting the crime to the court have tried to intimidate and blame my brother to be at fault of the incident. We asked for Mr. Yeargan’s help and he fully represented my brother and won the case. My brother was not found guilty in anyways.

I retained Michael Pritchard for the purpose of representing me in a OPM suitability allegation. I provided him with all the information that I had dating back several years. Mr Pritchard conducted an in-depth analysis of all the information. Conducted legal research on based on the allegations against me. He prepared a very detailed argument against their allegation with a very detailed backing. Once he completed the appeal he sent it to me for review & approval. I quickly approved his well documented appeal & moved forward with the process. After a waiting period, I received notice that my appeal was determined "favorable"!!
Without Mr Pritchard's assistance I'd likely be stuck on the outside looking in... I would not hesitate to recommend Mr Pritchard to anyone in need of legal assistance!!

I hired I hired Mirham at S&R after consulting with over a dozen firms in the area. She and the firm were the only ones that did not insult other firms and followed up immediately. After my first telephone conversation with her I was sure I wanted her representing me in court.
Mirham represented me in Stafford County District Court for a misdemeanor Reckless Driving Charge. Going into court I was confident she would be able to get the charges reduced, even though I had a less than perfect driving record. She was able to get the charges reduced to a very small fine.

We recently created a revocable living trust, will, power of attorney and medical directive.
The process was smooth from start to finish.
1) Bria walked us through the process with an initial tele-visit.
2) We then completed a simple questionnaire that Bria used to generate the final documentation which we reviewed at home
3) Finally, we had a 30 minute in person visit to make corrections, sign and execute

I've met Mr. Nourse when he took a court appointed case in Fairfax VA. I've realized right away that he was different. He reminded me of what I used to believe lawyers stood for when I was just a innocent and naive child. I've had dreams to become a lawyer as I believed they were supposed to stand up for the weak, innocent, & even poor but punishes and puts away the evil, dangerous & harmful people. So imagine my shock and despair when every single attorney I've encountered or heard of has been nothing but huge disappointment, totally predictable, and only has two main goals (money & winning). But not Mr. Nourse! He showed genuine effort on his court appointed case with zero hint of negativity judgements or biased opinions. He's given us honest input and advice riddled with purely good intentions. He's also told me that it wasn't too late for me to study now to become a lawyer. He's changed my entire outlook on life and humanity and given me hope again. He never acted arrogant or cocky, while remaining steadily consistent, genuine, kind, honest, and warm. I wish there were more people like Mr. Nourse shows what true defiiniotn of lawyer stands for. There are many other attorneys who should reflect on themselves and remember why they've worked so hard to become an attorney in the first place.

I was between a rock a hard place and had to seek help in very short order, or I would lose my home to unfortunately circumstances. When I found Brian's information, I picked up the phone, on a whim, and assumed that I'd be leaving a voicemail and then waiting for days to hear back, as time was ticking away. I believe it was a weekend evening; phone started to ring and he answered right away!
I was completely unprepared, but midst being very emotional and almost crying, I tried to explain my situation. He listened, he asked key questions, he seemed empathetic and he calmed me down by providing a few possible solutions. I hung up the phone feeling entirely different and relieved. From that point on we communicated by text message and a few phone calls, and he never missed a beat. He was immediately responsive, frank, to the point and ready to clarify my clueless questions. Long story short, he was able to stop a foreclosure within 24 hours. He then continued to guide me forward in solving my issues in a timely manner and closing that chapter of life. All of this was done without even meeting face to face (Covid). If only other professionals could take a note in being responsive, frank, blunt and effective as Brian, I'm sure many aspects of life would be far better than they are, for many. The war on drugs is failing, and Jon Katz is one of its strongest adversaries. Jon had saved me once before, in a DUI that resulted in two possession charges (both of which were dismissed). During the end of my VASAP probation, I (in my opinion) was targeted by law enforcement in a traffic stop (where I was not the driver) that resulted in a public intoxication arrest with two possession charges, one a felony.
Within a half hour of leaving Fairfax County Adult Detention Center, I had already notified Jon’s assistant that I needed a consultation with Jon. Just shy of a couple days later, I was in his office near the courthouse. When I described my predicament, Jon told me of how his teachers in grade school used to get annoyed of him. One told him he’d be a great defense lawyer. “Dismiss, dismiss, dismiss” he said. He assured me these charges, which resulted in a probation violation, would be dismissed.
Fast forward to February of 2025, I had completed Jon’s recommended “homework plan” and I was primed for court. The day of the pre-trial hearing, I walked into the courthouse feeling, as though the case was already over, that I had enlisted the help of the best legal defense I could possibly get, and the outcome was evident.
All three charges were dismissed, and I am no longer on probation. The euphoria of freedom, I feel days after court. And it is all thanks to the experience, connections, and expertise of Jon Katz.
In the hour before court, I walked around the courthouse, feeling as if I wasn’t there as a criminal, but rather a member of society. For anyone reading this that may be in a legal situation, by fault or not, guilty or innocent, you have a place and purpose in life. My brother was hit in the of his truck on duty. The defendant and the cop in charge of reporting the crime to the court have tried to intimidate and blame my brother to be at fault of the incident.
