I had a difficult case. A true not me case. Because there was no arrest or fingerprints it was very hard to prove it wasn't me. I discovered I had a warrant for my arrest when I applied for an apartment and they did a background check. I talked to him after researching for a couple weeks. He gave me more information in a 20 minute conversation than I could find in 2 weeks of research, before I even hired him. He did way more than originally thought necessary. His diligence, wisdom, knowledge, years of experience & research that left no stone unturned, eventually cleared my name. He also insisted the warrant be lifted while clearing up this huge mess. I could go through the process feeling safe w/o fear of going to jail. He actually did way more than what I originally hired him for. He didn't charge me more even with me asking about it. Scott Levine is amazing! All that experience, wisdom, knowledge, connections, diligence and tenacity, yet still generous at heart. I would hire him for ANY & ALL legal matters! On my contact list under ICE (Apple Iphone) I have 12-13 people designated as contacts by 911 responders, police, or others. Justin Weisberg is #1. He's straight to the point and beat the case wisely, if you let him. If you interfere call someone else. I've had him as a HALO for the last 11 years. He has not skipped a beat. I fought my conviction through direct appeal, 3.850, and appeal in the 4th DCA, pro se, being penniless and thoroughly disgusted by post conviction attorneys who promised the world and then did not deliver. Enter Melanie when it appeared all hope was lost. My family hired Melanie to represent me on remand to the 17th Circuit for an evidentiary hearing.
The differences in Melanie's approach were stark, immediate, and the reason for my most enthusiastic recommendation. First, she does not over promise. She says what she means and does what she says. I recently had a very bad experience where I was entrapped in a bad situation. I have never been in trouble in my 63 years of life. I can't go into the details but it was very traumatic for me and could have ruined my retirement and the rest of my life and my relationship. I don’t think I can say enough good things, or give Michael Jones enough stars, both as a lawyer and a fellow human. Samuel Stephen Fields is an outstanding attorney operating within the Broward County Court system. He handled the cases without any difficulties. However, it is with great sadness to learn while at hearing today that Mr. Fields 's sister just passed away. I own, a Mechanic shop! Customer Dropped of the car, to get service, they knew Exactly the amount that was going to be Charged, we both Agreed. Car was done, they did not have Money, to pay. My name is jeremie I was resent represented by Attorney Gary cole of the cole law Firm here in Fort Lauderdale Florida. I was in a bad situation where I was falsely accused of unsubstantiated allegations and a temporary injunction was imposed against me for a pending restraining order which took away my ability to have contact with my 7 year old son. I am also on probation here in Florida therefore I was also in serious danger of a probation violation if the petition against me was deem credible by the judge. At my may 2nd, 2016 hearing I faced my accuser and the judge with supreme confidence know that I had Gary Cole as my lawyer. Within half an hour into my hearing Gary cole was finished questioning my accuser and proved that there was no credible evidence to enforce an order of protection against me. The judge then ruled in our favor and dismissed the petition against me. This attorney has no clue I am writing this review, maybe he will see it at some point. If you are seeking an attorney in his field, you absolutely cannot go wrong with this guy!!! I can guarantee you he will be the type of attorney who will put his all into your case and I say that with 100% certainty.
Today walking to go into the courthouse feeling scared, stupid, anxious, stressed and clueless. I was going to file a motion on what seemed to be a simple case but turned out to be extremely complicated.
I decided to stop at this law firm and that’s where I met an angel on earth.
As I explained my case, he listened well; he is very knowledgeable and whatever he didn’t know or wasn’t sure about, he took the time to research online and in law books. I hired Michael about 18 years ago for my first offence drug possession, and he was so cool and understanding of my situation at the time, he really wanted to help me and and offered me the drug court option which was one of the best things I could have done at the time.
He explained the law at the time and went above and beyond to keep from being thrown out of the drug court program and helped me see the error in my ways at the time, I was young and completely unaware of the Florida controlled substance laws and he really helped open my eyes to the path I was headed. I hired Micky 3 years ago for a DUI, I was charged with. At first I had a public defender who did next to NOTHING ! Then I was in court and in walked Micky. The room light up with his huge smiles. Mr. Coffey is not only an excellent attorney but he is a very kind and generous human being ! My step-son (allegedly) did something really really stupid while using a school computer, back in the summer of 2019. My brother was arrested in Florida with attempted first-degree murder with a firearm. The man was shot 4 times but thankfully he did not die. Under Florida's 10/20/Life Law my brother was facing a mandatory 25 years in prison to life. I came to Florida and hired David Royal Smith to represent my brother. He worked on the case for such for about 2 years, taking depositions and preparing for trial. Although he was preparing for trial, he used the information that he learned to negotiate a favorable plea from the State Attorney. Eventually he was able to get the State Attorney to waive the 25 year mandatory minimum and offer 5 years in prison followed by a short time on probation. My brother is extremely satisfied with the manner in which David Royal Smith handled his case.

My best friend told me about David Smith and recommended that he was the best. I couldn't believe that anyone could get me out of this mess. At the time of me retaining David I had been out of prison for only a year so I was bound for extra time I was doomed. I was driving my car in the late morning and the police officer stopped me and asked me was I smoking marijuana I said yes but there is no more he searched my car and found a half of joint in the ashtray a bag of cocaine under my seat and a hydrocodone pill.I had to go to trial. David picked the jury and cross examined the policeman that testified against me and at the end of the case he gave an closing argument and convince the jury that the state had not proven their case. We won but I picked up 3 seperate cases in another county during the same time. My worries were far from over. This time I was charged with possession of marijuana 2 counts of battery on an officer and resisting arrest with violence. The police had shot me with a taser and beat me up before taking me to jail. I had hired another lawyer but got rid of her and hired David. Due to the nature of the charges I was facing an even longer time in prison. On my trial date mr Smith announced he was ready for trial the prosecution asked for another continuance David objected and the judge denied the motion for continuance. The state attorney then announced they were dropping the case all from Mr. Smith experience I was so devoted to him. He is the reason im a free bird today Thanks David for proving my innocence

I was Arrested for possession of cannabis with intent to deliver and possession of methamphetamine. My attorney David Smith, got the charge reduced to simple possession and got me into drug court. Then i got arrested for trafficking methamphetamine and possession of cannabis with intent to deliver. When i got arrested on the new case, my bond was revoked and i was kicked out of drug court. Mr. Smith did a bond hearing and got me released from jail. The trafficking was reduced to possession of methylene. He worked out a deal on both my cases for probation and the court withheld Adjudication of guilt so I am not a convicted felon.
