I interviewed about 5 law firms. Selected Josh and could not have been happier with the choice. He walked me through the process. At 57 and having to deal with a few attorneys in my younger years, I didn't like any of them. I would say "I didn't like ANY attorney" because they ALL had the "better than anyone attitude", etc. I ALMOST didn't call an attorney; was just going to Public Defender & plea out because wasn't interested in an attorney just out for the money when they knew the "End Result" would be the same; however, at the suggestion of my bondsman, I decided to call & talk to Josh figuring nothing to lose by making the call. THANK GOD I made that call in May 2014; With 1 question from Josh I realized it was not that cut & dry; AND, I felt he was being honest, not just trying to suck a client in for money! I hired Josh. Since the beginning, I could feel his sincerity with my case. 1st time I can honestly say an attorney (Joshua Rydell) went above & beyond any expectations I ever had!! I had F3 & M1 charges; March 2017 (almost 3 years after arrest), F3 & M1, was amended to M1 only with 12 mos prob & possible off in 6 mos; total court & probation costs will be $318; AND all would have been thrown out due to the warrant if my employment time clocks had been working both days in question. From the beginning I told Josh I didn't want any charges, that I wanted everything just thrown out like nothing ever happened. Haha, right? Josh was thorough, detailed, creative, exceptionally knowledgeable with the laws (AN ASSET FOR ANY CLIENT), and never in a million years did I even expect the AWESOME outcome he got for me. He is even going to file for early release of Probation to get that over in the 6 months, as well as have the records sealed since adjudication withheld. I honestly can't say enough good about this attorney and how he really did save me from what could have ruined me personally & professionally. Now, after I do the probation and we go back, it will be as though nothing ever happened which is just as good as everything thrown out to me. He is VERY reasonable with his costs which is usually unheard of with attorneys, again, Joshua is just different. He has very rare qualities not usually seen in criminal attorneys. I will and would recommend this attorney, Joshua Rydell, to any friend or family member should they ever need representation with the utmost confidence they would receive the ABSOLUTE BEST legal representation possible!! He is truly the best and I thank the good Lord for helping me find my way to Joshua for help. Can’t say it with enough words on how thankful I am with Attorneys Mike Haber and Marc Morris. I was with the wrong people, at the wrong location, during the wrong time. Everything happened so fast; I ended up in the slammer with charges which could have left me behind bars for about 40 years.
I knew the only way to prove my innocents and show I have nothing to do with the operation; I had to hire an over the top, above average, bulldog lawyer. I hesitated to call anyone. I knew of lawyers that advertise everywhere, but I was concerned as to hire any lawyer who would want to charge me up endlessly and might not have the experience to duly represent me against a setup which I had not been involved.
I started googling legal terminology, and I saw a series of results from this website avvo.com and a couple of these results were answers to questions by Attorney Mike Haber. I was skeptical of both the website and the attorney. I did further research and found the validity of the website, and that Mr. Haber is licensed by the Florida Bar. It helped greatly to see Attorney Haber has much social media presence with numerous YouTube videos, which are very informative. I then felt assured this is the real deal and decided to call up Mike.
Mike runs a lean law practice, and therefore there are no runarounds through a receptionist or paralegal. He answers his cell phone, and when he doesn’t, it is because he is in court. Well, going back to the storyline, I called Mike, and from the initial call I was very much impressed how articulated, and knowledgeable this guy is on the matter. Over the phone, he sounded like a tough guy (which was what I was looking for). In person, boy you better be careful not to get a bite. As long, as you are on his side or at least not against him, you will be fine. In the initial call, he mentioned about bringing another lawyer on board, Attorney Marc Morris. Marc has an extensive background as he was a prosecutor. Two amazing lawyers equal much ammunition for the battle to show my innocence against the mammoth which wanted to drag me down.
This review is getting longer than expected, well to rush to the conclusion. I was released with no bail set with a ROR; the case still was pending because the prosecution did not want to budge to drop the charges, and right before the start of the speedy trial (which my attorneys requested), the attorneys endlessly dropped motions onto the prosecution. On the morning of the trial, the prosecution threw the towel, and the case was dismissed.
Here are some tips: these lawyers are not going to hold your hand, nor babysit you. They are actively defending your best interest and getting things done. Therefore, do not get in their way, and let them do their job. Remember they have a lean law practice, which in turn saves you much money.

Marc is always ready for war in the courtroom. After dealing with multiple issues, he fought aggressively until the charges were knocked out. I originally hired an incompetent lawyer after not doing much research, but I soon contacted Marc Morris and Mike Haber after seeing all of their amazing reviews to see if they could help with my sitaution. After first meeting them, I realized I needed to hire them and get rid of the other lawyer. Well that was the best decision I made, because not even 6 months later, all of the charges were dropped.
Marc even went out of his way to help me when I got myself into hot water by not taking his advice. He truly cares, and handles the situation as it was his own. He was able to do things in the courtroom that I never thought were possible.

Mr Morris. Is an incredible human being and lawyer, I got introduced to him as I was in high school as a little kid from friends getting in trouble during the very peak times for weston Sherrifs. As a kid I didn't understand exactly how everything worked and having my dad working outside of country and mom being mother of 3 and being able to help me with expense. But Mr.Morris explained everything in detail made sure I knew where I was headed and treated me like a long lost son. He will go through everything for you and fight till the end and is really honest and tells you how it is. He doesn't sugarcoat anything and really makes you trust him as your lawyer and friend. I personally don't know where my life would be if it wasn't for Marc Morris and how great and detail concentrated he is and incredible on how he holds his presence in a court room. Mr. Morris has not helped me with one or two but 3 cases and each one ended in dismissal or approval to be expunged. He even fought for my ex girlfriend and different people as my wrong doing and really amazed what an amazing lawyer he is. He has took me from being down and being completely wrong to safe my college career and future job. He will find a way to prove there was something wrong. To be utterly honest at first I thought he was very expensive or really just wanting to pull the money out of me . But in the end my whole perception was turned upside down. You get what you pay for and if you want to save your life your record and your future Marc Morris is the man you should hire. Mr. Morris didn't even pay me or ask me to do this review, in fact 4-5 years ago reviews mattered but Marc deserves way much more than just reviews. If you hire him you will definitely not be disapointed.

I was lucky enough to meet Jeff Robinson during one of the worst times of our lives. I had a difficult case. A true not me case. Because there was no arrest or fingerprints it was very hard to prove it wasn't me. I discovered I had a warrant for my arrest when I applied for an apartment and they did a background check. I talked to him after researching for a couple weeks. He gave me more information in a 20 minute conversation than I could find in 2 weeks of research, before I even hired him. He did way more than originally thought necessary. His diligence, wisdom, knowledge, years of experience & research that left no stone unturned, eventually cleared my name. He also insisted the warrant be lifted while clearing up this huge mess. I could go through the process feeling safe w/o fear of going to jail. He actually did way more than what I originally hired him for. He didn't charge me more even with me asking about it. Scott Levine is amazing! All that experience, wisdom, knowledge, connections, diligence and tenacity, yet still generous at heart. I would hire him for ANY & ALL legal matters! Nowadays, Crossroads Investigations can do that for you, by locating anyone, anywhere and give you the information you need before making a deal with them, lending them money, having them watch your kids, investing in one of their their projects, or for any other myriad reasons you need to pull back the curtain to reveal the true man or woman behind the curtain. I fought my conviction through direct appeal, 3.850, and appeal in the 4th DCA, pro se, being penniless and thoroughly disgusted by post conviction attorneys who promised the world and then did not deliver. Enter Melanie when it appeared all hope was lost. My family hired Melanie to represent me on remand to the 17th Circuit for an evidentiary hearing.
The differences in Melanie's approach were stark, immediate, and the reason for my most enthusiastic recommendation. First, she does not over promise. She says what she means and does what she says. That alone sets her apart. Secondly, Melanie was generous with her time in scheduling multiple attorney phone calls while I was incarcerated. I recently had a very bad experience where I was entrapped in a bad situation. I have never been in trouble in my 63 years of life. I can't go into the details but it was very traumatic for me and could have ruined my retirement and the rest of my life and my relationship. I don’t think I can say enough good things, or give Michael Jones enough stars, both as a lawyer and a fellow human. Mike represented me on numerous cases when I was a stupid teenager and once as an adult and was able to get me more than desirable outcomes on all cases. I owe him for what I have today.
He is extremely responsive, and honest. And his team that works with him is as well. Samuel Stephen Fields is an outstanding attorney operating within the Broward County Court system. He handled the cases without any difficulties. I own, a Mechanic shop! Customer Dropped of the car, to get service, they knew Exactly the amount that was going to be Charged, we both Agreed. Car was done, they did not have Money, to pay. My boyfriend was found NOT GUILTY by a jury. Mr. Roth did a great job at the trial, even though he was found to possessing heroin inside of his shoe while visiting a friend in jail. Today walking to go into the courthouse feeling scared, stupid, anxious, stressed and clueless. I was going to file a motion on what seemed to be a simple case but turned out to be extremely complicated.
I decided to stop at this law firm and that’s where I met an angel on earth.
As I explained my case, he listened well; he is very knowledgeable and whatever he didn’t know or wasn’t sure about, he took the time to research online and in law books. He explained everything to me impeccably well; I felt like I was talking to a very nice judge. He sat with me for about 90 mins in his office, just selflessly and professionally helped me.

I hired Michael about 18 years ago for my first offence drug possession, and he was so cool and understanding of my situation at the time, he really wanted to help me and and offered me the drug court option which was one of the best things I could have done at the time.
He explained the law at the time and went above and beyond to keep from being thrown out of the drug court program and helped me see the error in my ways at the time, I was young and completely unaware of the Florida controlled substance laws and he really helped open my eyes to the path I was headed. I hired Micky 3 years ago for a DUI, I was charged with. At first I had a public defender who did next to NOTHING ! Then I was in court and in walked Micky. The room light up with his huge smiles.
