I was under a federal goverment investigation, which the result of a very complicated investigation with my former employer and Texas Department of Insurance. This went on for many years while being represented by attorney's that were provided by my former employer. I finally decided that things seem to worsen and I needed someone that would listen, hear me and would fight for my defense and not the company that I was employed by. I immediately retained Mr. Clark. I felt if I had any chance of being cleared of this investigation and getting my life back, I needed Mr. Clark to defend me. In mid of 2007, I was released from the goverment's investigation. All of the other parties involved were indicted and the company paid millions in fines that were a result of TDI,OCC,HUD,and OTS. Mr. Clark never made any empty promises to me during this process, however he stood by me every step of the way with sound advice and gave me the faith I needed to get me through the most diffcult time of my life.

I was charged with a class 2 misdemeanor which I did not commit and Earl not only believed in me but fought diligently for my cause. Although the courts incompetency caused us to make four different trips Earl passionately stated my case each time until he wore them down and gained a dismissal of the charge against me. Earl gave me a cost up front and stuck to it with none of those so called incidental charges. If you need someone to plead your case this is the man!

Some years ago I retained this incredible attorney after I was arrested and was looking at a possible life time in prison. I won't go into too much detail in order to preserve my anonymity. I asked around for the "heaviest" attorney in Houston at this time, including other attorneys I had used in the past, and unanimously everyone said to call Mr. Dick DeGuerin. In short, only because of his fearsome courtroom prowess and renowned reputation for wins did the DA and Judge agree to a plea bargain we were all extremely pleased with. I will not use names, but BOTH the DA and Judge had reps for being extremely heavy handed with their sentencing.
To the man that is more than an attorney, who's a legend and also a bit of magician, a thousand thanks for giving me a life to return to! I regret that I only happened upon this site today and wasn't able to publicize my appreciation long ago...

I caught a possession of marijuana case in August 2008 and I got his number from a friend that Mr. Hedman had actually gotten 2 dismissals for. Abel listened to my story carefully and analytically. As I was charged with Trespassing and being an immigrant, it was hard for me to solve the case without affecting my immigration status.
