I am a very stubborn client. I am an unlicensed lawyer. Because of a mental health breakdown incident I was wrongly arrested and charged with a felony. Mr. Thomas' very professional, calm, patient, and genuine compassion for me over the course of six months has been a huge blessing for me and my my family. It is very hard for me to trust anyone, but once I finally relaxed and allowed Mr. Thomas to do his job and followed his instructions, things improved. I credit Lewis' outstanding reputation with the Harris County District Attorney's office and the Judiciary as a whole with his ability to shepherd my case to a "No Bill" resolution with the Grand Jury. My suggestion for anyone having a legal matter that Lewis will take for you is this-- hire Lewis, be truthful with Lewis, trust Lewis and follow his instructions. I wholeheartedly believe in Lewis. James Mount is pleasant surprise, I have to say, as he is my court appointed attorney for a case I have currently. I took a chance on him because of how he handled himself in court with his other clients. He is sharp, on point and he knows his stuff. He advised me on the best course of action and I trust him implicitly. Court appointed attorneys have gotten a negative reputation at times because of the tired adage that they “just go through the motions” and not have to really get entrenched and go to bat for their clients. The state of Texas now reviews everyone of their cases and they are held to a high standard which is great for the general populace of course. I highly recommend this man if you need a seasoned and smart attorney. Great job James. It is refreshing to witness someone who genuinely cares for his/her clients and handles himself with aplomb and class.

Ijeoma Opara took on my case after I was told by multiple lawyers that I would not win my case. I was involved in a bad car accident and after I got all the treatment done, my old lawyer was not able to find the woman that hit me as she went on the run. I was told by my old lawyers that I would not win my case and that I would be stuck with all these medical bills. Before transferring my case to Opara, my old lawyers had been working on my case for 2 years. Once Opara took my case on it only took her a few months to find the woman, get her served, and get all my bills paid for as well as getting me paid.
