Seth did an amazing job representing our son after his parole was revoked and was able to get him reinstated on a complicated case at the first hearing. Eddie Cortes is very knowledgeable and professional. I wouldn't have known where to start with my case without him! He takes his time and interacts with your experience followed by sound advice. Perhaps the thing that impressed me most about Eddie was nothing was "sugar coated". He was very straight forward and told me what to expect each step of the way. I want to start off by saying that Korey Huff is a very intelligent individual who knows the legal game like the back of his hand. It took me no time to find him and ever since day 1 he has been a huge advocate in my legal situation, since I am in college he gave me a student discount. With my case I would have been looking at a min of $3,000 but he only charged me $1,800 !!!!!! I was stopped at the border with a fraudulent visa. I was placed on Removal and I had Mr. Lopezdevictoria represent me. He got me out on parole and that he filed my asylum case and the judge granted it. My brother who was caught on the same day hired a different attorney and he was deported. Ivan came in and took my case pro bono. I was wrongfully accused of aggravated assault on a family member. When I was clearly trying to protect a woman and her child from a violent man. I had something come up, quite unbelievable to be honest, and really didn't know what to do or where to turn, since I had never been in this predicament. I made contact with Mr Tyson. He was out of town attending a funeral but he still made time to listen to me. The case is in San Antonio and he was very honest in that I should use an attorney in San Antonio.
He said that if I didn't hear from him by 2 pm the following day, then he asked me contact him back. Well, he contacted me a few hours later with the contact of the top attorney for my case.
George Tyson did something a lot of business don't do today, he went out of his way for me.

I originally contacted Mr. Tyson and asked him to review my case and give me an honest answer about what results I may have. I was charged with a 1st degree felony and every lawyer I talked to told me I was going to have deal with this charge heavily. Mr. Tyson predicted he could reduce my charge from 1st degree felony down to a state jail felony. Needless to say, and happily as well, he was %100 able to do so, I walked away with a special probation and had my felony deferred! I couldn't ask for a better result. He is also instantly recognizable in the criminal court building downtown.
His case reviews are free and I've recommend my friends to give him a call if they run into an trouble.

I retained Mr. Tyson this past spring to defend me on a criminal mischief charge. After reviewing my case, Mr. Tyson explained the legal process to me and what he would be doing. He also provided me up-to-date statistics on his trial and dismissal records. They were excellent. I told him that my goal was to have the charge completely dismissed. He assured me that there was no need to take any kind of deal with my case because outright dismissal should be doable. In order to do that, he explained, we may have to keep going to court until we got the desired outcome but that this was all included in the retainer -- the only additional cost would be if the case had to be tried.
He did explain to me that there was a possibility the case would have to be tried if he couldn't get the prosecutor to drop the case otherwise and that this would be an additional expense. "Some cases just have to be tried." That being said, I was confident that had the case gone to trial, Mr. Tyson would have provided the best representation available to me. Now I am working with him to have this charge expunged from my record.
All in all I would recommend you at least have your case reviewed by Mr. Tyson.

Mario is an AMAZING attorney. I received a traffic violation, failing to yield. Mario represented me and was ready for trial. He was representing someone at 9am and 11am and rushed to make mine at 10am. Mario arrived ready for trial, and after talking to the Prosecutor (2 min after his arrival) we received a dismissal. This process was smooth and easy. Mario is extremely informative, effective and the best! Instead of having to be in probation, pay attorney fees, etc., we walked out with a dismissal! I will always go back to him if I am seeking legal representation.

If you are looking for an attorney who will go above and beyond for you, Jimmy is by far-- the BEST!
He was referred to me by a mutual friend and being a "first time offender", I really didn't understand much. Jimmy sat down with me at our first meeting and explained the "law" to me in terms that I could understand. Not once did he ever make me feel "dumb" for questions I had, as I assumed most attorneys would. He calmed me when I panicked the day of my hearing, assuring me, "everything will be OK"...and it was. He fought for me, knowing I was innocent, just in the "wrong place at the wrong time" situation. The punishment I was given (even though I didn't want any punishment, but who does..) fit the crime.
Jimmy returned every phone call, text message, or email to me so quickly, I honestly couldn't believe it. Watching Jimmy work his magic in the court room was amazing. There is no question as to why so many people want Jimmy to represent them. Just being around him makes you feel better. He is so confident in his work, but never shows any disrespect or looks down upon anyone.
Just for laughs, if I could commit a crime just to be around him, I would. :)
I've honestly never met a more caring man in my life, and for an attorney, that's major brownie points!

Having no prior criminal record, I found myself in the unfortunate situation of being arrested for a felony. I met with Karen and hired her to defend me in this matter. Karen took the time to fully understand the case and its nuances, and we met and discussed various legal strategies. The case took over half a year to resolve due to various factors including legal discovery, the revolving door of district attorneys, etc. Throughout this time, in addition to representing my legal interests, she made herself available to me whenever I had a question or concern. While her knowledge of the criminal court system and the law is extensive given her significant experience, it is her compassion for her clients and her responsiveness set her apart. Additionally, Karen has extremely good instincts as an attorney and also knows how to collaborate well with other stakeholders. Her approach was very pragmatic given her knowledge of what might work or not work depending on the circumstances. I had a case where I was charged with a felony for using the wrong university golf cart to set up a scavenger hunt, in my undergraduate year in 2014, for students to learn about the history and culture of my alma mater. I was a self-supporting student and could not afford to hire an attorney, but Ms/Mrs. Karen A. Barney still defended me. She was very knowledgeable and informed me at the consultation of all materials I needed to provide her to assist the case. At the first court date, after consulting with her, my case was immediately dismissed. I was tasked with literally nothing, besides to communicate with her and follow her instructions. She also informed me to provide the same materials to my university hearing board because they were also reviewing me, with the potential to suspend me indefinetly. Lord behold, the hearing board threw my case out, with confirmation the same day that I would still be a student until I graduated in 2016. Now in 2017, I am in law school. Inspired by her to help others, especially those who can not defend themselves. I just wanted to thank Ms/Mrs. Karen A. Barney for what she has done for me: Kept me out of jail; Kept me in school; and inspired me to be a lawyer. THANK YOU!

I was on court a few years back and I seen the way he walked into the court room and was very respected and known by all the court staff, so I asked him for a bizz card and he gave me a very plain card with just his name and number and said that’s all I need to have on my cards Any how I have referred him to many new clients in which 2 were involved in murder cases and got them dismissed . He's an expert. From the moment I spoke to him, I knew I was in good hands.
I had a warrant out for my arrest for a felony - the result of an over zealous cop. The police officer's report was not factual and it was my word against the officer's. I didn't think I had a shot at resolving the matter in my favor.

On March 8, 2023 I was involved in a serious car crash when a truck leapt over the highway traveling from the opposite direction, hitting me directly on and totaling my car. I was taken by ambulance to the hospital and suffered a lower lumbar back fracture and torn meniscus as well as many other injuries. I was terrified, and so was my family.
