Lisa believed in me. Charged with agg. assault w/deadly weapon by a district atty. with a chip on her shoulder. Lisa took my case because she could see the facts from the beginning. I lawfully used my right to defend myself using my LTC and a legal firearm to stop an unstable individual from assaulting me for the third time. I was charged in Judge Werlein's Federal Court with 23 Counts of Conspiracy, Health Care Fraud, and Wire Fraud, and I was found NOT GUILTY by the jury on all 23 counts after 4 weeks of trial. I was arrested, unfortunately, for the 3rd time in almost 18 years for theft. Each arrest being almost 6 years apart to the day. After meeting James he treated me with humility and grace despite my wrong doings. Going through a divorce, you will feel empty as you watch your life fall apart. It's isolating and embarrassing all at the same time. The people that once encircled your life start to disappear for a while; distanced if they do speak to you. There's hardly not anything more alienating than that position. I hired Kelley for a felony theft case. My case effected my job, and I needed it cleared up quickly in order to return to work. Within 30 days of my first court date, Kelley had my case reduced to a misdemeanor deferred, so that I could return to work. Kelley worked diligently with the prosecutor and myself to get the matter resolved quickly. She has a great rapport with the DAs, and she kept me informed every step of the way. The day I hired her, I felt such relief because she has a true passion for helping her clients. Even after my case was closed, she still contacted me to make sure I understood all the requirements of my deferred adjudication and to help with anything else I may need. I had a felony theft case, and it effected my job. I needed the case dropped quickly in order to return to work and keep my position. I knew the minute I spoke to Kelley on the phone that I was in good hands. She attentively listened, asked questions, and showed empathy for my situation and genuine concern for my well being. Kelley helped me with a theft case that was ridiculous anyway. Not only did she explain everything that was going on, what could happen, she also made me feel instantly upon our first meeting that everything was going to be fine. I had been so stressed about this issue and when I met with her she made me feel relieved. She is extremely knowledgeable of the criminal court system, responded immediately to any questions I had, and she researched the case to the tiniest detail. I was amazed at how skilled she was and my case has been dismissed completely. She told me in the beginning that was what she was going for but that there were other possibilities. I always knew what was going on and what she was going to do each time we went to court. If you want a skilled attorney who will keep you well informed and also make you feel like you are her only client (even though you know you are not her only client) then I recommend you giving Kelley a call immediately.

Sylvia Escobedo was hired on my case for an aggravated assault with a deadly weapon charge. She kept me informed on everything that was going on with my case. Entering Liberty County on a poss < 1g enhanced indictment (while on bond for same offense in Garza County, TX) Mr. Schaffer, Liebermann & Sorreson (his team) negotiated a probated plea for me. The beauty of the plea was FACT, my first TDC # was 367859, second was 412479 & BOP # 16639-077. I would have screamed FANTASY from the highest mountain however this firm is the REAL DEAL! No unrealistic expectations along the way either, just straight to the point facts. Great post conviction work as well, the firm handled an appeal for me up to and through the 5th circuit and I ran out of defense funds or I think & believe in the US Supreme Court the case would have been reversed. I recently was charged with a serious felony offense. I went to see Mr. Schaffer and at first I was a little put off by the price. The several other lawyers that I spoke to were much cheaper, but since my freedom was at stake I decided to spend the money. Mr. Schaffer and his team sprang into action and they left no stone unturned. My case went to the grand jury and Mr. Schaffer made an excellent presentation that resulted in my case being nobilled and dimissed. I don't know if another lawyer could have got the same result, but I doubt it. I have my freedom and a clean record and I am totally satisfied with the way my case was handled. I would recommend him to anyone.

He worked tirelessly on our case and always delivered on a timely manner. He is very intuitive and it shows how he manages any set backs. It certainly displays his mastery of the craft.

Christina is the best! My son was charged in Texas after moving there with his girlfriend. He is now coming home to work on himself. He had no family there as they moved to be with her family due to having a baby. Thinking her family would be supportive, they were not and things got out of control. Thanks to Christina my son will be able to get the help he needs as she was able to get our bond lowered and get him to be able to move out of Texas and come to live with me. I was arrested for possession of marijuana. Being my second offense, with a prior arrest back in 2007 for theft, left me really uncertain of what the outcome would be.The case took a lot of me, the DA told Mark, that because I've already had record he could not dismiss it. One word to describe Remington is.....AMAZING! My husband and I hired Attorney Remington Alessi. He isn't like most Attorney's. From the first day we spoke to him about our case to the very end.
