My husband had previously used Mr. Skinner for a DUI case so I was already aware of his ability. I came to him for a child support issue and once again he proved to be the best lawyer for the job. He was able to get me back child support and also got the court to enforce some other provisions on my ex. I had used another lawyer in the past, but it didn't end well. Mr. Skinner was able to do more in 3 months than my previous lawyer did in almost a year. I would definitely recommend him!

I made the terrible mistake of driving while drunk (which led to a car accident), and I found myself with a DUI, a suspended license and several other legal problems. Mr. Stevens does the following: 1. Wins Cases - Super intelligent 2. Returns calls in light speed (he has returned many of my freak outs about potentially going to prison.) 3. An attorney that is on his way to a judgeship 4. Reasonable price 5. Shows up to court, on-time and has an excellent reputation 6. Family Man 7. Honest 8. Decent I could go on, but, you get the point. I went to Northwestern. I had access to many attorneys and the latter's 'Rolodex.' I shunned the latter. I chose Mr. Stevens each time. At one point I enjoyed trouble. Although I no longer engage in such activity, I want to share my experience for the person who still does. Other attorneys use the 'bait and switch.' Lots of upfront talk and before you know it, the retainer is paid and off they go. Not Jason. If you want a fair resolution to your antics, with a tremendous amount of strategy, hire him. Thank you!

Our working relationship with Mr. Seigler spanned over 4 years. It was not associated with criminal defense, but with civil problems regarding an easement. Mr. Seigler was contacted & hired after another local lawyer was paid to get resolution to the problem, but failed to take timely action. Mr. Seigler worked diligently in a timely fashion to attain success for us in this difficult, drawn-out case. We highly recommend Mr. Seigler!

We met with Attorney Seigler to explain what had happened to the line fence. During the course of resolving issue of the removal of the fence without our knowledge we brought family records and expenses regarding the dispute. The pros and cons of the issue were presented to us by Attorney Seigler. He presented the evidence and his pending correspondence to us prior to presenting our side of the issue.

Finding a good doctor, dentist or an outstanding attorney these days would require a stellar, crystal ball. In 2005, I did not have access to any crystal ball, but was assigned a court appointed attorney to assist me in the charges brought against me in Federal Court. I knew I was innocent but I also knew that my case could possibly fall into the realm of a nuclear time bomb. I had filed a complaint against ten of the largest security firms in the United States, which would have shut Wall Street down in one week. How was such a thing even possible? I was demanding these firms, when taking on a new client, inform them that their money could be used without their knowledge or informed consent for such things as gambling schemes, shorting stocks, hedge funds, dirivatives, flipping, etc. To require "informed consent" would obviously alert the buyer and bring a grinding halt to Wall Street's manner of doing business. There would be no more legalized gambling. Three years passed and still I hadn't been informed of a trial date. I asked the court to dismiss my case. Instead, they appointed a new lawyer in private practice, Mr. Leonard Goodman. He also asked that the court dismiss the case but in return the federal court set a trial date for August, 2008. I put great faith and trust in Mr. Goodman despite the short time allotted to prepare and present his defense. With the help of his associate, Melissa, they both researched the entire case and came to the realization that I was, indeed, innocent. At that point they worked steadily to mount my case. I'm sure both he and Melissa wondered how they ever ended up in this mess with a dilusional client. If they had known what I knew, they wouldn't have been so reticent to go against the SEC, the U.S. Attorney, the FBI and the U.S. Postal Service, who were all in collusion to insure my conviction. Their aim was to aid all these agencies to continue destroying people's lives. This is how the web of Wall Street operates. They had two weeks and the odds, they thought, might be insurmountable in consideration of the Federal Government's having had three years to prepare. In my opinion, it was in the courtroom that Mr. Goodman discovered his true talents as an attorney. There were five days of trial and twenty government witnesses, "so called" experts from each of the above named agencies. Mr. Goodman dissected all of their testimonies, shattering the prosecution's case and leaving all of them looking for the exit door. It was an incredible and beautiful procedure to unfold to my view. I was in awe. At 4:30 p.m. on Friday, the fifth day of the trial, the prosecution gave their closing arguments. When finished, the presiding judge turned to the defense for its presentation. Mr. Goodman stood up and informed the court that the defense rested its case and would not present any witnesses for the defendant. There was dead silence in that courtroom. The prosecutors were in shock over what they'd just heard. The following Monday, the jury took six hours to deliberate the six counts and rendered a verdict of not guilty on all counts. What a day for all of us. The looks on the faces of the prosecutors was classic. They had mounted a humongous case and expected to win. Honesty doesn't always win in court but for me it did. I returned home feeling elated and truly vindicated. Thanks to Mr. Goodman and his associate, I was a free man.

He approachable to tackle any criminal case in Federal, State, and Appellate Court system. He fought diligently on my son's appeal in a murder & attempt murder conviction, he worked his way to the highest court overturning said conviction in the US Supreme Court. I was fortunate enough to have Leonard represent me in a federal drug conspiracy case in early 2000. His understanding of the law and resolve to fight for me lead to my acquittal on all major charges and the application of the safety valve provision...a rare occurrence in the U.S. legal system. Perhaps the most impressive thing about Leonard was his ability to continuously think strategically about my case and yet, always have my best interest in mind - every step of the way. It's a rarity these days to find extremely competent, loyal and honest lawyers who are also empathetic toward their clients...Leonard is one of those lawyers. I would recommend Leonard Goodman any day of the week. I am eternally grateful for Janaan and the service she provided with helping me get 2 criminal records expunged and 1 sealed. Reem Odeh helped my parent get a green card after a long visa overstay. When we were about half way through the process, we encountered a really difficult pothole and had to consider the fact that my parent would not be eligible for her card. Reem personally intervened, performed some miracle work with a letter she wrote to the USCIS, and we received the green card yesterday. The process took about 9-10 months. We are absolutely grateful for all the work that Reem and her office put in for us. I don’t know where to start! I found Anisa on a lawyer directory. I reached out to her because I was seeking council for 3 traffic tickets that I racked up in a fender bender that I had gotten into. 2 of the 3 tickets I wasn’t worried about however the 3rd had me very nervous because it was my 2nd ticket for driving with no insurance so I knew I would be suspended, especially since I was already on supervision for the first occurrence, and a suspension would affect my livelihood. When I initially spoke to her, after giving her the details of my case, she was very transparent with me about fees and such. She was neutral about the possibility of the outcome which was hope for me since I had called another attorney that had given me a grim outlook. After our phone consultation I felt fairly confident about having Anisa as my counsel. In court, on 6/14, things looked bleak however thankfully her experience and in depth through knowledge of the law enabled her to negotiate a plea for me that would allow me to keep my license valid and my fine far lower than expected. From beginning to end I thought Anisa’s services was wonderful, her fees economical and well worth it, & I thought that her communication with me was great. I am beyond elated and grateful for Anisa’s services and I will certainly be recommending her!

After getting arrested by your typical inner city cops( no rights read, no probable cause, lying under oath brutes) and thrown in Cook County (hell on earth), for a week to raise my bond money, even when i got out I was scared and didn't know what to do. I I knew that going with the public defender would me and me taking a felony charge (my first) after talking to Jeff I felt like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders!I felt better than when I left the jailhouse. I finally felt like there was a chance. And lo and behold my court case was dismissed on the preliminary hearing due to the work and knowledge of Jeff. I was falsely accused of harassment. Justin agreed to handle my case and i traveled from VA to IL to defend myself. Justin was exceptional in his cross exam of the 1st plaintiff which the judge dismissed within 15 minutes of testimony. He then was able to have the 2nd claimant agree to withdraw. Knows the law and also knows the court. 100% would hire again. Wish he was local to me.

Had an incident happen to me back in October 2017 and wasn’t charged until March 2018. After trying to find the right attorney a friend of the family told us about Lou Panici Jr– best decision I ever made was to call Lou up. Lou told me to come in right away and we went over everything, he was straight with me from the beginning telling me what can possibly happened both good and bad. Lou was straight forward, caring and I felt he was looking out for what was in my best interest and not just taking on another job. Lou was with me from the first court date which was the bond hearing all the way through to the dismissal. We went to court dates and Lou worked with the DA on what I needed to do, after completing all that was required by the courts and a few things the court didn’t require of me, my case was dismissed and now we are working on expunging this from my record. I don’t believe this would have happened with any other attorney so quickly and efficiently. I am so grateful to Lou, no need to look for another attorney; Luciano will get the job done. Because of what he has done for me I was able to get back into school and apply for jobs with a clean record.

I will admit that this review is well delayed. here it is... you know when someone says " i gotta a guy" .... well anyone who ever needs an ATTORNEY... can say just that and THAT GUY IS Bruce DS.... he has the experience and knows the right people. I first met Bruce in a lobby after hearing other cases for felony speeding.... my case came up and I wasn't prepared. fate would have it that I stepped out to the lobby to look for an attorney on the drop of a dime and there was BDS.... I got a class b misdemeanor last year, and I was referred to Dean by another lawyer. Dean was amazing he handled everything for me and he got my class b misdemeanor down to supervision and he was able to present my case without me being present since I couldn't get out of work that day. Easy to reach and answered all my questions and concerns. If I ever need another traffic lawyer again I will definitely hire Dean again. The pricing was really affordable too which was a plus! I was in contract to purchase a home and the inspection yielded the discovery of active termites. I followed up with pest and structural inspections to get estimates for repairs. The repairs exceeded the $1500 threshold that provides an option for the seller to withdraw and receive earnest money back if they should choose. After deciding to cancel the contract, the seller's agent refused to acknowledge the cancellation claiming that I "obtained these estimates fraudulently." She also suggested that earnest money should not be returned to me and proceeded to slander myself and my agent. Unable to resolve this dispute I decided to hire Shaun to enforce the real estate contract as written. Shaun immediately reviewed all the pertinent details and provided me with the confidence need to resolve this dispute quickly. He began the intervention with the seller's agent providing the facts of the situation and the contract itself. After 24 hours after speaking with the seller's agent, the entire concern was dropped from their side, the cancellation had been accepted and earnest money scheduled to return. Shaun Cusack's sense of urgency, attention to detail, and application of the law are unmatched. I would recommend him every day of the week and twice on Sunday.
