My wife and I are parents to a special needs child. We have a long history of partnering with the administrators in the school district and the special education teachers at the school. Despite this an inexperienced teacher, with little knowledge of the history, filed a DCFS report on us over a story our child told. Although the school district and the experienced teachers supported my wife and I, as required by law, we would have to go through a full DCFS investigation. A friend with knowledge of the DCFS pointed us in the direction of Marie Taraska, whom we hired after an initial consultation. Maire walked us through the entire DCFS process and was there for us from start to finish. Marie’s knowledge of the DCFS law and her experience working in the system not only gave confidence that our case would be resolved positively but also reaffirmed our belief in ourselves as parents. With Marie’s help our case was unfounded in short order. If you find yourself in our situation and facing a DCFS investigation, I highly recommend Marie Taraska. Do not have a friend who happens to be lawyer represent you and do not hire someone who doesn’t specialize in DCFS law. The DCFS is its own entity with its own rules and only a lawyer who knows this system like Marie can work fast and effectively to clear your name and put the matter behind you.

Last April I worked for a school district in the south suburbs and was assigned as a monitor for a special needs child. To no fault of her own, the child was combative and had a flight response and would stop at nothing to get out of her seat belts while the bus was moving. While trying to keep her in her safety restraints, I was falsely accused of slapping the child. Naturally, I was terrified and felt helpless. I hired Marie to represent me through the criminal investigation. She was outstanding in her handling of the situation. Her instincts as a former prosecutor helped her to understand the minds of the people who were trying to form a case against me. She used her former experience to guide me every step of the way. In the course of a recent custody dispute, false accusations of emotional abuse to my son were made against me to DFCS. Marie Taraska is an outstanding and professional attorney who not only defended me at trial, but investigated the matter to find evidence to prove my innocence. Marie did an outstanding job questioning and cross examining the witnesses to show the information which was used to indicate me was false. Marie proved in court that the individual who called the hotline was dishonest. Marie won my case. Not only was my indication expunged but so was my character! I visited some friends at college in Macomb and unfortunately found myself in a situation with the police due to a situation my friend created and I then made worse with poor decision making. I contacted Justin Bougher the next day via email and he responded within minutes. We immediately set up a consultation for the next morning. I was very fortunate to have met Mark 18 years ago and have used his services on more than a few occasions , First and foremost he is a very compassionate individual that listens to detail and retains the information your willing to provide him with from the word go ! Then he will spend as much time that's needed to explain the law and his outlook on how your case will be handled within the court system good or bad before he even starts to discuss any cost/fees. I was recently arrested and charged with a DUI. If I was to be found guilty and then convicted this would be my second DUI in 21 years. Needless to say I was very afraid of what was going to happen me. Lose my license, fines, jail time and loss of my job. I came across Mark Uteg's name on the internet and I was impressed with the reviews that were posted about him. I was very happy that I chose Mark to handle my case. He approached it in a very professional manner and prepared a solid case for my defense. He talked me through the entire process. After several court visits, he won my case for me. All the charges were dropped. I did not lose my license, I did not have any fines and I did not get a DUI. I have learned my lesson about driving after drinking so this will not happen to me again. When I hired Mr. Camic, I was depressed, hopeless, and scared. I was young, had already had two prior attorneys on my case, and had consulted upwards of 20, not really sure what to do to protect my rights and my future. Mr. Camic stood out in his understanding of relevant case law to my unusual situation that led to felony battery charges, and knowledge of the various parties in the system. From the initial consultation, it was clear that Mr. Camic wanted to work to help me get my life back on track, so I could pursue my life aspirations that I shared with him.
On top of that, Mr. Camic was very realistic and honest about the handling of my case. He took the time to explain the pros and cons of different approaches, and broke things down in a way that I could understand and relate to. He always took the time to respond to my many questions and concerns as things progressed. Many attorneys who I talked to pushed going to trial, so they could in turn charge ridiculous rates. Mr. Camic is not one of those attorneys. His rate was extremely reasonable, and he truly had my best interests in mind.
Mr. Camic has the ability to find the good in people, even when they are in bad situations; and by seeing the good in me, he was able to get me placed into a diversion program. I will soon be able to have all of the charges against me dismissed and expunged, which will be a huge weight off my shoulders, as I build my career and my life. My future is bright, thanks to his hard work.
EDIT: He has saved me again, cases expunged and I am left with no record whatsoever! Not only that, but he worked to get it done as quickly as possible, so I would not have to worry about anything negative lingering.

David Camic was fantastic! In illinois, a third dui is a felony. Somehow, he got it reduced to a misdemeanor!! I had to serve 45 days in the pokey but it was worth it to keep a felony off my record.
I have no idea how he did it, but he did it. I sincerely thank you, Mr. Camic. My life is normal again!

I would like to say that Charles Nutley is a LAWYER with capital letters. I got pretty complicated case with multiple charges including battery, assault and trespassing. Charles met me before first court appearance and laid out the strategy that he had on his mind. When I approached the judge I knew inside me that everything is going to be ok, because of the confidence radiated by my attorney. The result is dismissal of all charges on FIRST COURT DATE! I hired Gene in December of 2017 to help with a slightly complicated class b criminal damage to property case. Taking the time to listen to all of my concerns and addressing them politely professionally and with compassion. (The latter a quality that can be quite hard to come by) Gene prepped me for all the things I needed to do to win my case and make the court appearances and even went out of the way to try to get it wrapped up sooner (yeah rights it was Dupage county still appreciated though). My experience/journey with Courtney Kelledes has been a pleasant and knowledgeable one. I contacted her for help with a years long ongoing situation which had been taken upon by other lawyers with no resolve. After explaining my situations and concerns she informed me that she would contact me after reviewing my info with her partners. I was contacted back shortly where she told me, while she could not make guarantees she and her partners did find merit in my cause, requests and ultimately my goal. From there Courtney laid out a precise step by step strategy with options for said steps. After that it was blast off as she went to work on my behave legally while thoroughly explaining steps, goals, expectations and timelines. She always kept an open ear to my concerns being that I had not had the best if not down right bad experience dealing with the various organizations in past attempts. Courtney always heard my voice and broke down said concerns with answers that I could understand as it applied to the law and my situation. I usually don’t write reviews for people, but I had to in this circumstance. Eryk basically saved me from huge consequences and from the inability to make a livelihood for my family. I made a lot of mistakes and ended up picking up multiple driving under the influence cases where my drivers license was suspended for a long time. Eryk successfully fought these cases and allowed me to get my drivers license back so I can continue driving professionally and supporting my family. He was great, patient and well worth the money. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is in trouble and anyone who is facing stiff consequences for mistakes that they made, like I did. I hope to never have to need him again but I owe him a great debt of gratitude.

When the mortgage on my rental property was transferred to Nationstar and they failed to consistently send me a printed monthly statement; despite numerous request. I contacted attorney Coleman when I attempted to pay off the loan and discovered that Nationstar had re-applied all fees and charges applied to my account, which had been previously remove; when I explained my need for a printed statement, for accounting purposes; that I would not pay the bill online due their absorbent fees and that I would not be held responsible for fees associated with their failure to send me a printed statement as I had not opted into their digital services agreement.
Attorney Coleman, took over full communication with Nationstar and expeditiously, had all fees removed from my account and all marks against my credit removed based on Nationstar’s faulty business practices. I was very pleased with attorney Coleman’s results. I will definitely, consult his legal service in the future, if the need arises

Due to medical bills and other problems we found ourselves in serious and extremely stressful circumstances. I received a DUI this year and am very grateful to have found Attorney Jeffrey Fagan and his team, as they helped make this experience as bearable and comfortable as I believe a terrible experience like this could have been. I was guided step-by-step through every part of the court process and given thorough answers to all of my questions. Jeffrey Fagan and his team were compassionate, understanding, always readily available and extremely helpful to me throughout my whole case. In the end I was assigned 10 hours of alcohol education classes and a victim impact panel to go to, with a license suspension of 6 months. Most importantly: being that this was my first offense and I blew relatively low (.09), I was given court supervision as a opposed to a conviction, which would have most likely meant the end of my career. All of my concerns were directly addressed and dealt with.
