I repeat do not hire this woman she’s a CROOK!!!! She will take your money and do absolutely nothing for your case. She is lazy all she’s worried about is payments. She done absolutely nothing for my son’s case all she did was gather evidence from the DA she has no clue of what she’s doing. She needs to be reported to the bar association. All she had to do was get a video and she couldn’t even do that. She will not have your back and gets an attitude when you call her or ask questions. I never hated someone more than I hate this lady she’s a con artist. Do not give her your money.

She took my payment immediately then drug her feet emery step of the way....I hired a new attorney after she was more concerned about police camera footage of another case during my mediation. New lawyer requested documents and she sent over I complete stuff to her as well.
Worst $4200 you could ever

First I must say that Kim is simply an amazing defense attorney. I scheduled a consultation for her to represent me with possible charges pending from a family member which was traumatic in itself. She's very tough. She's a fighter. And she will fight for you. As she has fought for me and continues to fight for me. The best advice I can give you is be completely honest with her. I know it's terrifying when there is pending or possible charges looming. But she needs to see the clear picture so she can fight for you. My wife and I hired Jud in the fall of 2013 after we were sued for a sellers disclosure disagreement on our house. From the beginning Jud explained what we were to expect throughout the process and kept us completely informed. He was ultra prepared anytime we had to face a hearing and made sure we had no outstanding questions in the judicial process. Attorney Nash is a honest and dedicated professional, he provided me with a much needed service that reduced my ticket from a major infraction to a basic rule (which implies it is negligible and won't show up on driving records), funny part is we only spoke over the phone through the entire ordeal (court dates and fees).

Lisa Owen was my third attorney. What I thought was going to be an easy case, rapidly escalated to one of the worst experiences I have ever been through. A divorce. If everything is smooth and no issues at all, maybe any attorney will do. When things get nasty and everything is at stake, you want to be sure you have the right team behind you. I had to changed attorneys twice because I found out as things progressed, the case was beyond the level of competance for the current attorney. One of the attorneys had to withdraw from the case because she admitted it was beyond her abilities and experience. I wish I had saved all the wasted money and time with the first two.
All I wanted, was to know, that when we went to the mat "court", the team and person fighting for me, that I had total trust and faith in them. No matter the results, I wanted to know, they were the best. Lisa Owen was professional, 100% on her game, her team behind her including Natasha, Sarah, and several others, were always pushing and driving forward. Lisa actually scared me she is so good. Sharp, articulate, fast thinker, great debator, driven, witty, a total bad as#. She is a true bull dawg and exactly what you want if the case is something that truly matters. Lisa called me on her family vacation, pushed me non stop, she thought about things I never would have, I was in awe of her and her team the whole way through. She ran the show....She directed everything. she was in charge....and that is exactly what I wanted.
Yes, I paid a lot of money to hire someone of her caliber, but, I would have saved so much money if I have contacted her first. My divorce was the worst event of my adult life. Far worse than I could have ever imagined. The emotional drain, the physical exhaution, the fear of what may happen. I am a Marietta native. I am a 25 year veteran in the mortgage industry, and unfortunately I help clients every month go through a divorce. There is usually a home and a mortgage to deal with. You want the best helping navigate these steps. I typically help one of them move out and buy a home, and the other, I help to refinance the mortgage into their name. It is a very structured and a very emotional process.
I never thought I would personally go through it myself. I now feel like I have a Ph'D in the mortgage/divorce space. I was going through this to settle my case, but also to learn as much as I could as to the logistics of all that can take place on the legal side. I was an apprentice watching one of the best in the industry, and paying very close attention, because I was the case being tried.
I am not a personal friend of Lisa's. This review was not requested. I will rarely ever give a review, but when I do, it is only for someone that I will give my personal approval for them. If you want the best, and if you can hire her....you want Lisa Owen.
If you want to buy or refinance a house, call me....if you want to bury your spouse, call me....and I will introduce you to Lisa.

if you are reading this review and are considering working with the Ivan Allen Law firm this is your sign to trust them with your life… literally. There was nothing easy about my case and it took 5 years to settle everything. Insurance companies, I’m convinced, are evil and immoral people who do not care about your wellbeing and Attorney Amy Ivan and her husband are the angels that God sends you to help get through the war. It is ironic that we had the exact same circumstance...however my expérience was the exact opposite....I received zero contact until my doctor called and threateneed him with legal action. John pressured me to settle. And so forth and so on....One of his clients received the pathetic settlement I received because someone HURT THEIR FEELINGS! I am happy you had a great experience maybe he spent all his time on your case because my case ironically was the exact same time...I on the other hand will persue malpractice charges if I am not compensated

My case began before the pandemic hit. Then the lockdown and we just couldn't move forward. John made every effort to reach a settlement in spite of it. The insurance company stretched the process out for 4 long years. John kept me informed along the way and we finally crossed the finish line.
John is one of the most personable attorneys I've dealt with. He doesn't come across as a know-it-all and is open to ideas. Most importantly he provided clear guidance and did not pressure me to settle or ask for less just to close the case.

Mr. Treadaway is slow, disorganized and lacking in attention to details. I hired Mr. Treadaway to assist in a divorce proceeding. He asked twice for monies which I paid. There was no verbal or written contract outlining how or when monies would be paid or any accounting of those funds. I was under the assumption that if further $ was required it would be brought up at that point. 5 months later after the divorce I received an invoice for a rather significant sum of money. Further review showed the invoice to have a $1000 "error". I contacted Mr. Treadaway by email regarding the invoice and was afforded NO response. 5 months later her turned my invoice over for collections to another attorney and demanded interest that was never disclosed.

Steve cook is not only a great attorney but a even better friend! Steve and I have known one another for over 25 years and in that time I have had a few legal problems concerning traffic violations which he promptly took care of for me of no charge also more recently I had three warrants for my arrest and was picked up and caught 3 felony drug charges I had my girlfriend call Steve on the 18th day in jail and he immediately got up there to see me. he told me that I was a good friend and that he was going to squash my probation and he was going to get my misdemeanor charge thrown out. and then the three felonies he was going to get reduced to misdemeanors in time served he was able to get probation which i was In violation of terminated. Then he was able to get the misdemeanor
I had been charged with for giving a false name to law enforcement thrown out of court. and on the three felonies I got an even better deal I got probation and the felony charges will be expunged from my record upon completing a simple probation no fines no community service just report and stay off drugs and Steve did all of this for the amount of $400 he worked diligently every thing was handled fast and had me out of jail in less than 30 days considering all that I had pending against me legally that was absolutely amazing and he worked very fast to get me in front of the judge I cannot say enough about Steve he's a great man with a wonderful attitude he wants to help people that's his mission in life so if you need good representation and you're in a legal bind facing criminal charges I would absolutely beyond a shadow of a doubt only recommend Steve Cook! you can take your chances with another attorney it's going to cost you more and the outcome will be uncertain Steve will let you know up front what the most likely probability is going to be he has good foresight when it comes to what the potential legal outcome will be that's what makes him one of the best attorneys around he's very affordable he's very fair he's not a crook he answers his own phone when his secretary is not in the office. he stays in touch with his clients he's very easy to reach and that in itself gives great comfort many attorneys once you give money you can't get in touch with them until you see them in court but Steve is not that way he will absolutely return your calls he will have his secretary give you information if he's not in and if you need a call back from him no worries he'll be in touch.

I had a shoplifting case that was completely accidental on my part. I was really nervous because I've never even received a traffic citation or ticket in my life.

've thought about NOT writing this review several times, but the crazy, pathetic & bizarre actions of Mrs Alterman really needs to be known.
I'll just list them
1. Cursed me out once for calling in what she thought was 8pm but was 3pm not sure what the deal was but very bizarre.
2. Missed filing for hardship license which resulted in not getting one.
3. Missed court on three occasions two resulted in bench warrants put out for my arrest.
3. Failed to show for jury trail, which caused myself to not be there ither.
4. Scolded me in court and told me to mind my own business let her handle this when I had a couple questions.
5. Never seemed to remember anything
6. Always accused me of my guilt & never once seemed on my side.
7. Suggested that I send the arresting officer donuts, I kid you not that was so bizarre

I hired Cathy for my husband's criminal case in May 2012 (after having dealt with another attorney who was not helping us at all!) and I could not be happier with her results! Skelton and Blackstone Attorneys helped my wife and me prepare our wills and advance directives. They carefully took us through all of the various decisions and helped us understand the ramifications of each. We left the office with complete documents which Skelton and Blackstone filed with the appropriate authorities. This gave my wife and me great peace of mind and actually did a lot to solidify our relationships as it showed how we would need to depend on each other in the event of an untimely passing. Has been booted off Hyatt Legal Services due to client complaints. Did NOTHING in my case resulting in default judgment and garnishment. Never returned a call. Opposing counsel and the court didn't even know I had a lawyer. Case could have been dismissed had he done ANYTHING. Blamed everything on his "paralegals." I only rated him a 1 because there was no zero.

I had a shoplifting charge and ended up moving to a different state and hired him to handle it back in Georgia. His prices are definitely reasonable, biggest downside was that he failed to show up to court for me and I had to find that out through the court and hurry up to get it resolved. My mother also had to get involved because he tried to deny that he was paid even though the evidence was in the emails. Overall, I guess you get what you pay for.

I had this lawyer as a public defender on a very serious case n which a female lied on me bc I welding give her drugs. No evidence and she didn't even appear in court but he had me plead guilty to the third count bc I didn't know any better. No to this case I'm trying to fight this charge from 1993 bc it still haunts. I was incarcerated on another charge at the time and was doing time so I did not know that the girl did not show up for trial until after I got a visit from my family and they asked me y did I plead guilty. He never did any investigating nor did he try to help me n any way. I only seen him at the time of court. I wish I knew then what I know now. I have so much anger n me for this bc it has ruined my life bc of the nature of the charge. Ten years ago if I would've found him and it wouldn't have been a pretty site bc I would b n jail for life. I'm a changed man now bc of my kids but I still think he owes me sum help by trying to get me back in appeallant court.

My experience with Keith was great. He was very informative every step of the way and i would recommend him to anyone. I was most impressed with the actual trial and just how prepared he was and how there was no stone left unturned. He took the time and researched every detail of my case. My ex took my Son to Illinois on an order written by a Commissioner in Bakersfield. She wanted a $50 consult fee. I paid $25 in cash, and wrote a check for the other $25. After getting paid and putting out her cigarette, she told me, "I can't help you, take it up in Illinois." That was twenty years ago, without a visitation order, I HAVEN'T SEEN HIM SINCE. I PUT A STOP PAYMENT ON THE CHECK. JUSTICE?

Cynthia yelled at me while explaining a visitation order. I could not for the life of me understand the judges order and during a phone call she yelled at me while explaining it. She l apologized after - said she had a long day, but the experience rubbed me the wrong way. Her staff was great and always gave our family updated through email and phone calls.

Considering hiring this attorney , but her prices are doubled compared to a few other local offices…so do some research beforehand. Her personality was great and I found some helpfulness in the advice I was given. After my consult I spoke with a friend who hired her as her attorney to gain insight on what it’ll be like working with her. she said lots things would always pop up because of personal events happening in Cynthias life. Which caused delay with her case. She also mentioned her office manager just wasn’t the best to work with and always made her feel stupid for asking about her case or having any questions at all. She ended up hiring someone different.. I will mention.. I didn’t like how her office manager spoke with me when I scheduled my consult either. So extremely rude with snide comments. After researching companies that were successful in cases against HOA's I hired this firm 5 years ago. I asked if they could win and was told yes. February 2023 we had to agree to a settlement. In that 5 years we changed lawyers 5 times. I would call to find out what was happening and was always told that they were waiting on the HOA attorney and that's just the way this worked. I ended up paying this attorney more than if I had just paid the HOA fine. There is no real update from them, unless you call their monthly bill an update. The last attorney assigned did manage to get a settlement worked out. We took it because I was not going to drag this out another 5 years and 5 different attorneys.

This is a poor start. After speaking with the staff and an attorney with the John Miller and Associates Law Firm...
I paid the non-refundable fee, agreed to the initial date and time set by the staff and called 1 hour before the appointed time to confirm the appointment.
After the appointed time and 15 min before the close of business, I called the office and was informed that the attorney was not going to make the meeting.
Summary: the attorney did not display the expected professionalism and courtesy to take the time to call to me, and provide an apology and reschedule the meeting.
This is definitely a teachable moment for John Miller and his Associates...provide timely information to the clients and be more considerate of our time.

I repeat do not hire this woman she’s a CROOK!!!! She will take your money and do absolutely nothing for your case. She is lazy all she’s worried about is payments. She done absolutely nothing for my son’s case all she did was gather evidence from the DA she has no clue of what she’s doing. She needs to be reported to the bar association. All she had to do was get a video and she couldn’t even do that. She will not have your back and gets an attitude when you call her or ask questions. I never hated someone more than I hate this lady she’s a con artist. Do not give her your money.

She took my payment immediately then drug her feet emery step of the way....I hired a new attorney after she was more concerned about police camera footage of another case during my mediation. New lawyer requested documents and she sent over I complete stuff to her as well.

I would definitely recommend the Ivans. They are very hardworking and compassionate lawyers. First of all, they are willing to work with you on a payment plan. I did NOT find any other lawyers that were kind enough to do so. I commend the Ivans for giving us working class people the opportunity to have a defense lawyer. If it wasn't for the Ivan's we would've had to use the public defender. The case isn't over yet, but I do know that they have worked really hard for us and I appreciate their assistance. Mr. Berry was hired as CoCouncil due to his track history and relationships in Cobb County. He absolutely came through. I had 9 charges against me including felony Aggravated Assault and DUI. All charges were dismissed and Mr. Berry negotiated plea to a simple traffic charge.
It is true that you never really win a DUI, due to the all of the costs associated with winning, but Mr. Berry made it as painless as possible.

He has an outstanding reputation, resume and over 40 years of experience and everyone wants him to be their lawyer. When he goes into the court, you can see the respect everybody gives him and I felt confident and proud that he was my lawyer. When he met with me, he listened and was very kind. My mom paid James' law office to carry out the process of applying for my brother's permanent legal residency, Long story short, they stopped answering calls and when my mom went to the office, it was closed with a notice to slide any paperwork under the door. Just ridiculous. The assistants were also incompetent. We lost two thousand dollars to these thieves. Do not do business with them. Find a better law office with better reviews. Save yourself the headaches and the money.

I paid Jason a retainer then set up and never missed monthly payments . He told me I did not need to come to court a Warrent was issued I was forced to spend money to keep away from home for a weekend or face jail . On our first course hearing he was 1 hr late our second hearing he was also late our 3rd hearing he was 6 hrs late not good to agitate the court . On our 4th court date he quit my case I am currently in the process of a case against him I will repost after its done . This attorney did not complete the work he was hired to do for me . His misrepresentation led me to have to ask for a continuance when I did I was able to speak with the state who stated if I would let Jason go he would give me a better deal dropping the dui against me to a lesser .
He misinformed me in my case .
