Jennifer Matthews Is a phenomenal Lawyer. She worked with me on my Traffic (DUI ) case, and helped guide me every step of the way. She was very patience and understanding of what was a very sensitive case for me (Due to my secret clearance and military background ) . I was worried, and nervous about what was going to happen to me, and I also thought it was going to hurt my career. Jennifer was very discreet while working on my case, which was very reassuring. Before I decided to look her up, I visited quite a few lawyers to talk about my case, and needless to say they were less than helpful. Most of them made me feel more like a number than they actually cared. I was running low on time and I went to go this one lawyer who was going to have me just take the quick and easy way out (take a deal / Plea), and was going to charge me an astronomical amount to do so. Needless to say I was thinking about just representing myself that is until I came across Jennifer Matthews name on a review website. I was going to give one last person a try, because it was starting to become draining seeing so many people and explaining the case. I started by giving her a call and talking to her on the phone, I already within 5 minutes of talking to her felt a little more at ease. To be honest I was still skeptical though, most of the people that I spoke with on the phone sounded nice and like they cared... at first. I went to meet her in person (still skeptical and nervous) and as she introduced herself and I sat down I felt more comfortable than I did with any of the other people I talked to. We reviewed my case together and discussed what my options were at that time, and what I needed to do to get the case moving forward. She was straight forwarded with me from the start. She didn’t sugarcoat anything, and she put everything on the table. I knew everything from our first meeting, which was nice. I never felt like she was going leave me hanging or charge me extra later. I really liked how she talked to me as a person, not belittling me or treating me different because of my case. I can honestly say I trusted her. As my court date came closer, she kept in touch on a regular bases and making sure we had everything we needed for the case. I never felt unprepared nor unimportant. The day of the trial she met me at the courthouse where she was fully prepared for the case. She knew what she was doing. She kept in contact with the court the whole time. Oh and not to mention her attention to detail, she found some inconsistencies in the reports on my case, which was for my benefit. Needless to say I would consider my case a huge win and I don’t think it would have ended the way it did with any other person by my side. I’m sure this goes without saying I would most certainly recommend Jennifer to anyone who needs an amazing defense lawyer. She will be by your side every step of the way, and will not leave you hanging. She is the best, and It would be in anyone’s best interest that is in need of help to look her up. -Jon

My son was arrested for some pretty serious charges. I had never had to deal with anything like that before and didn't know where to begin. A friend who had Jennifer for a DUI recommended her. She was amazing! She helped us find a bail bondsman in the middle of the night. Met with us as soon as he was released. She really listened to us and took an immediate interest in the case. She took all the time necessary to explain the process, the court system, everything until we felt comfortable. She is serous top notch and I don't know how we would have gotten through that nightmare without her! Absolutely recommend!

I was using Attorney Farmer’s office to handle a criminal case a few years ago. My ex was falsely accusing me of child abuse to win a child custody battle. Attorney Farmer deferred the case to Attorney Langford. He was smart and calmed my nerves with his sense of humor. He told me why from a legal stand point what my ex was trying to do the court wouldn’t go for. He told me do not feel worried going in and that he was not afraid and very confident that we would have a favorable outcome. He calmed me not only with his confidence but his reference to how he was tackle each charge in accordance to the law. Even though my ex didn’t show up and the case was tossed out- I did not walk into the court afraid I was very at ease. He even referred me to the most excellent child custody office - Murphy Law Firm. I highly recommend Attorney Langford. He will give you the confidence you need- deff the defense I needed to beat those false charges against me. I know without a doubt had my ex showed at court- Attorney Langford would have taken care of it without breaking a sweat.

I was charged with first degree assault. As soon as I came in for my consultation with Carlos I knew I came to the right attorney. Throughout my case he kept me very well informed of the status of my case. He worked very hard to bring my case to a resolution before my hearing. My case went from a felony charge to a minor misdemeanor of disorderly conduct, that was later expunged. If you have any criminal charges don't waste your time go to Carlos Salvado.

Peter, over the past three years, helped me get the best result ever. My case has been expunged, and I have been able to continue to grow rather than be hindered by my past actions. If you are looking for legal help, Peter is your best option. I was referred to him, and when I met him, he was wearing Batman Cuff-Links and a pin-stripe suit. My parents and I left the initial consultation thinking there was no other option for my representation other than Peter Fayne. When I had my court date, Peter presented confidently and thoroughly to the court, working out a deal with the prosecutor that we weren’t sure was the best, but he was able to confidently suggest this path as the best path. Jeff Kaplan is by far the best attorney!!! My husband has been in back forth custody disputes for almost 10years, and has had his fair share of different attorneys, but when Jeff became his attorney, it was a complete game changer. He worked with us even on weekends. Via texting, in person, and emailing if needed. Don’t assume that if you get an attorney through Legal Aide that you won’t get excellent results, because this clearly wasn’t the case. My husband gained full sole custody of my stepdaughter fighting a really ugly custody dispute. Jeff works a lot of different cases, but he made time to help us win our case. I would DEFINITELY recommend him to anyone looking to win!

Recommended by the neighbor, Mr. Cooke took on our case after my fiance met with him. Mr. Cooke heard the true and complicated situation my fiance found himself in. I was so confident in the competency of Mr. Cooke that I went ahead and purchased baseball tickets for a date after the hearing. My fiance could have gone to jail for a few years based on his record, but somehow Mr. Cooke's presence and knowledge prevented that. I was considering filing bankruptcy and I was referred to Mr. Groh. I was extremely nervous about even meeting with him but he immediately put me at ease. He was very straightforward with me about the entire process and assured me that I was making me right decision. He gave me a list of items I needed to return to him before we could move forward and he had my case filed in exactly a week after my initial consultation. He answered any and all of my questions in much detail and within a timely manner. As many questions as I did have, he never made it seem that I was a bother. As much as I did not want to file for bankruptcy I felt like it was my only option and he made the process as smooth as it could possibly be. I was told he was the best around and I agree! I was referred to Mr. Groh by a family member who said he was an intelligent and hardworking attorney who assisted her when she needed it. I was arrested and charged with several crimes and was scared about a jail sentence or a ruined future. Mr. Groh worked behind the scenes for months before my trial and recommended several programs which would benefit me before seeing a judge. I walked into the court house the morning of trial and Mr. Groh informed me that everything had been taken care of. Three years later Mr. Groh assisted me with expunging the charges and now I have a clean slate. I don't think any of that would have been possible without him and I would recommend him to anybody in trouble with the law.

Mark is a great lawyer. He met with me a day before my court date to take pictures of where I was pulled over for a dui by supposedly failing to stop at a stop LINE but I did stop at the stop sign 3ft in front of the stop line that was not clearly marked. Mark showed me he was more then worth the money I paid him. Mark did everything he could to get me a not guilty and he was very successful. My dui charges were dropped and Mark even emailed me after court to help me with getting the dui expunged from my records. I would HIGHLY recommend Mark to anyone that needs a lawyer he is the best Lawyer I ever dealt with.

I contacted Ms. Demougeot to help my father and I with a criminal defense case in 2017. From the start, she understood that we were all very much on edge about the situation and she took the time to calm us down. I live in the charles county area. I was recently almost potentially convicted with a charge that would effect my job. Let me start by saying that if it had not of been for Doug Coggins, my career and future welfare could very well be jeopardized. A little while ago I got into some trouble with the Montgomery County PD and received some fairly serious criminal traffic charges. I had never been in this situation before and had no idea where to start. I met Doug under the referral of my parents and after my first visit, I immediately began to feel better. He told me that based on my past record which was pretty clean considering what I was facing and my decent sense personal integrity, the outcome of my case had a very good chance of being favorable. However, he made sure that he did not give me a false sense of hope and reminded me that I was always at the mercy of the court and that he would do everything in his power to help me. Sure enough a few weeks later Doug came through ten-fold. After our initial meeting, he met with the states attorney and was able to negotiate a deal which entailed that my more serious charges would be dismissed if I agreed to perform 24 hours of community service. I met with Doug one more time after that to discuss the details regarding my community service and how it affected my charges specifically. Following that meeting we went to court where Doug and the states attorney presented the details of our agreement before the judge and asked for an extension so that I could complete my community service. I kept in touch with Doug via e-mail letting him know when my community service was done, and a few months later we went back to court and essentially sealed the deal. The serious charges were dismissed, and the points were dropped on the less serious ones pending that I paid the fines. Doug's proficiency and courtroom demeanor were impressive to say the least and I hardly had to tell the judge anything which was very reassuring since I knew he was on top of it. I highly recommend Doug Coggins to anyone who finds themselves in a situation where they need professional guidance and someone who has their back.
