Mr. Valentine is an excelent lawyer and really knows what he is doing. He charges a reasonable price compared to other lawyers that tried to rip me off. I had warrants for traffic tickets and owed about $800 in tickets and he got it all removed for me. I also had some other charges which he helped me clear up without doing a lot of jail time like most lawyers were telling me. I really liked how he told me exactly what was going to happen instead of "I do not really iknow its up to the judge." which is what other lawyers would say. I highly reccomend him to anyone. He is also a very nice person and gets back to you promptly and does not leave you waiting for answers. He will be my lawyer from now on.

I used Kristi Kassebaum due an arrest for domestic battery which she was able to get dismissed in about a month. I had never been arrested before and had no idea who to hire to represent me. While I was fairly confident the circumstances of the arrest would result in a dismissal, I knew I needed a lawyer, but selecting one turned out to be a more daunting task than I'd realized. I went on several free consultations with well-reviewed lawyers I found online who all confirmed that my case would likely be dismissed, seemed equally competent, and had flat fee rates ranging from $2,500 - $4,500. The entire process was overwhelming and left me with no idea who to choose. My experience with Ms. Tarafa was at first a difficult one as my case was being investigated and discovery and depositions were being scheduled. I was facing up to 15 years in Federal Prison. Ms. Tarafa's demeanor is that of a pitbull in a skirt when it comes to defending her clients, regardless of guilt. Her background having worked for the State Attorney serves as an excellent frame of reference in her negotiations. She's upfront with her clients, but also empathetic enough to get to know who she's dealing with. After negotiations with the State, Ms. Tarafa was able to assist me in a plea deal and sentencing that was favorable and was able to help me "avoid the worse case scenario."
If you find yourself in a tough legal situation, you want Ms. Tarafa on your side - she will give you all the facts and those are scary to hear most of the time, but she will also assist you in assuring that, as she told me after my first hearing, "will fight to get you the results that are best for your lifestyle." She certainly delivered, I'm writing this review from work and I can carry on with my life under community control, no tether, with reporting to a PO once a week which is certainly better than 15 years in Federal Prison that would've stripped me of a normal life.
I am forever indebted to Ms. Tarafa for her determination to assist her clients.

I haven't had the best experience with lawyers in the past. But, Ms. Nina Tarafa had our complicated case and did beyond wonders for us with a huge victory. When I met her for the first time, I heard a knowledgeable professional with a logical course of action to successfully win the case. She is competent, highly skilled, understanding, compassionate, displays the highest ethics, and is aggressive in court when she has to be and she never gives up on the case. She keeps you informed, always makes herself available as soon as she is able to, even if it is just to see how you are doing, she shows you exactly the work and plan that she is going to be presenting for you in court. Ms. Nina Tarafa was a former Chief Prosecutor for Miami Dade County, so she really knows the strategies and tactics to use in your defense in court by already having the experience of being on both sides of the judicial system and court room. She is the only attorney from now on that my family and I will be going to for any legal matter. The best legal counsel can be the very difference between an acquittal or a conviction. Well, what can I say. I'm charged with a first degree felony. As we all know thats a PBL (Punishable by life). I had no bond. Sasha got me a low low bond amount of $20,000. My child is OUT OF JAIL because of this lawyer. He had been arrested and held with No Bond and the charges were scary and involved a gun and a robbery and the prosecutor was talking about sentences of 25 years in prison. The other lawyer we hired barely even visited our son and said the jail was far away. We lost a lot of money on him.
When we hired Mr. Dwyer, he visited Carlos the same day. He explained to us the process and made it clear to understand. He found the problems in the case and before we knew it the prosecutor was announcing a dismissal and are son is HOME.
