This review is way overdue but necessary. On 8/16/20 I was rear ended, so hard that my car projectiled forward despite my foot being solidly on the brake. I hit the Honda Pilot in front despite being a whole car length in front of me. Ms. Michael's assistant who lives in The Bronx accommodated me, and met me with all the necessary documents. She then immediately facilited my treatments and made such a horrible experience bearable. All of my needs were met and my case was resolved expeditiously. I am so happy that I was able to have Ms. Michael's as well as her team handle such a traumatic moment in my life. George is a very dedicating that will do all his best to put you at the most favor condition as possible. When I had a couple of condition give in probation rules. There are couple of rules that he would like to get rid of for my sake as he knows I would be reliable to do no such things harmful. This was my first time getting into this area of criminal. My head was expecting nothing. I'm totally clueless about myself, what do I do, what I have to do or what do i need to do. For all my life I have been living good, I never thought I would be in such scenario like I did today. Thanks to George, he really takes your times to give you a lot of insight and did his best make the best result out of your case. He is very patience and communicate. Dear Google, I would like to begin by providing website feedback. How do I give Robert E. Brown a 30+ star rating? If you’re reading this review in hopes of finding the perfect lawyer, look no further. Robert E. Brown will forever be known as the G.O.A.T aka Greatest Of All Time in my book. I am not the type to look for trouble but trouble seems to somehow find me. I live in a multifamily complex and unfortunately was accused of copyright infringement. My internet services are shared throughout the building however, I’m the ISP account owner. I feared if my case was brought to court and my info was made publicly, my professional and personal reputation would be tarnished. Mr. Vess Mitev came highly referred from a friend, who is also an attorney, that I trust with my life. I some how got myself in a very bad situation, and was charged with 2 class D felonies. So I asked my friend, what attorney he would recommend. Being that I had never been in any trouble in my entire life, and I didn’t want a criminal record at all; He told me not to play around at all, and to go with the best! He told me from the beginning that he may not be the cheapest, but you definitely get what you pay for!! After doing a consult with Vess, I decided to pay the piper, putting my trust and confidence in his hands. Right away he told me, if I listen to him, he would get both charges, DISMISSED COMPLETELY! He also told me that my case was delicate, and could take time; But he reassured me, saying that I was in good hands. I was arraigned on 3/16/2024; On 5/22/2024, both Felony charges were REDUCED to Class A Misdemeanor CHARGES! What a relief!! I was NOT going to be a convicted felon!!! But Vess was not done; He told me it was then time to go for Full Dismissal, on both charges. Then on 7/23/2024, I was DISMISSED OF ALL CHARGES! I didn’t plea the charges down to misdemeanors, and/or violations; THEY WERE COMPLETELY DISMISSED!!! Vess is a great guy, and an unbelievable criminal defense attorney! Hopefully I am never in that type of situation again; but god forbid I was, or a friend or family member asked for a criminal defense attorney— Mr. Vess Mitev would be the attorney I would go with, 100 out of 100 times! Michael represented our son through his SORA nightmares first in the Ulster County Court in Kingston and then in appeal in Albany's State Supreme Court. He won the downward departure motion from a level 2 (moderate risk) to a level 1 (low risk) on appeal based upon the psychometric testing of Dr. Megan Wright and the profiling provided by Chris Farrell. This is a very important decision because it specifically holds that psychometric testing is an independent ground for a downward departure. Michael was brilliant both in the Ulster County court, where the judge chose to ignore everything Michael presented, and in the State Supreme Court where wiser minds prevailed. We would hire Michael again in a heartbeat.

Michael was an excellent attorney. One of the biggest complaints with attorneys is failure to communicate. The day we called his office we received a return call that day. From then on he personally answered all of our questions promptly. He was on top of the case up to and including the arraignment. He was able to negotiate a plea deal from a DWI to a DWAI.
