Scott is excellent. This was my first time purchasing real estate, and Scott’s guidance and professionalism helped to make it a positive experience. He was diligent in looking out for my best interest, and protecting me from any potential risk. We were able to leverage language Scott included in the contract to get a significant credit after the property was inspected.
If you’ve never worked with an attorney before, it can be a little intimidating to know where to start, what qualities to look for. I would say, someone who has a lot of experience, is smart and knows the law — but also someone that’s great at communication, can be a good guide, listen and understand what you’re trying to accomplish. I was recently driving back to Toronto from NYC. About an hour from the border on Highway 17 a State Trooper pulled me over for speeding. She piled on another ticket for not signaling a lane change. The demerit points would have followed me to Ontario. Matis was recommended by someone in Toronto. I emailed him and he responded right away. He was very quick and professional. I just found out today that the tickets were resolved with a $300 fine and no demerit points. That's very fair. I have no hesitation recommending Matis to others.

Upon getting charged with a DWI I reached out to an attorney who I had used throughout my life for anything that came up. I was basically told based on your BAC we won’t be able to get a reduced offer and I am not sure how long the process will take. After a meeting, phone calls and a court appearance I was more confused than ever and accepted the fact that I would be getting a DWI. At this point a had a couple of people tell me that I should probably get a second opinion just based on the lack of information and inability to even understand the process ahead.
It was at this point I called James and left a message. He got back to me immediately and spent 25 minutes talking through the fact surrounding the case and how this would move forward step by step. After talking to James I felt 100% better about the situation he was able to answer every question I had around the charges, temporary license, and a timeline. Additionally, James began to discuss scenarios to get the charges thrown out or reduced which is something I had completely dismissed as I was told a plea wouldn’t be possible. I had actually told him that I am fine with the DWI charge if we can just get this wrapped up. He seemed shocked and told me that I may get a DWI but it will be after we exhaust all of our options and if I want to plead guilty that I should get another attorney. Over the next few months James kept me informed eventually telling me to report to court and we will be wrapping this up with a DWAI charge!
Having worked with James I would highly recommend anyone tangled up with a DWI charge to give him a call. My experience with lawyers is minimal but he completely exceeded all my expectations while being personable and relatable.

I was facing some pretty serious crimal charges. After calling several lawyers and being disappointed with either their cost or demnear I found Aaron's name on Google. Considering all the good reviews I figured I'd give it a shot, and I was not disappointed. I was living a nightmare for almost four years. I sold my home and the buyers' attorney fell for a scam e-mail, wiring my mortgage payoff to a fraudulent account at my servicing bank. All of the funds were completely withdrawn from the fraudulent account in a few days. I had no idea that any of this happened until the bank deducted a mortgage payment from my account weeks later. After my real estate attorney discovered what happened, the bank was notified of the fraud and told me not to worry, and that they would freeze the account until the situation was rectified. The buyers' attorney refused to take any responsibility, claimed to be a victim, and never notified the buyers that their home was subject to a lien from an unsettled mortgage. The local police and the FBI were notified and investigated and found that the scammers succeeded in getting the funds overseas. Everyone involved in the transaction denied responsibility and then the bank denied saying that they would freeze the account and referred me to collections, destroying my credit and putting my security clearance and livelihood at risk. I hired Tim and PLG to represent me in this matter, and when the bank refused to even discuss what had happed, he filed a civil suit on my behalf. Tim and PLG were relentless in fighting for me and helping me navigate through dealing with my employer as my clearance was in jeopardy. Were it not for Tim, I would have lost my clearance and my job. Unfortunately, there is little recourse for victims of this type of fraud and it is impossible to fight major banks, insurance companies, and attorneys without having the best on your side. I was lucky to have Tim and PLG on my side and I received a favorable outcome. Tim is passionate about what he does, seeking justice for his clients, fighting for "the little guy"! I hope no one ever has to go through what I did, but if you do, you need Parlatore Law Group in your corner!

I had a SBA EIDL loan that got transferred to the Department of Treasury unexpectedly, and had a 30 % penalty added to the amount due, and due very quickly, which was very stressful. TLDR: Mehdi is a smart, attentive, and available lawyer. Will always get back to you, will fight for you for real, and is ACTUALLY affordable (honestly you’re getting way more than your monies worth, he deserves more than what he asks for)
I must have called 10 or 15 (literally) Lawyers before I came across Mehdi and he was THE ONLY one that actually talked to me like a normal person. He explained to me what cases like mine have looked like, he clearly broke down for me everything I needed and the game plan and genuinely calmed me down (multiple times lol).
He always kept me informed, whenever I called him or texted him he called me back & answered all my questions. He hounded the ADA on my case making sure they looked at it with the same importance as their other cases.
Most importantly I could afford him. Not a single lawyer I called before him quoted me less thank almost 3 months worth of my rent (90% sure you are on the same boat if you’re reading this) if you’re like me you make too much for public defender and not enough to to afford to pay 3 months worth of rent. Mehdi was fair in what he charged me. He understood what I was going through and worked with me.
Honestly I couldn’t have asked for a better person to represent me. He got my case literally the best outcome possible (very happy about that!) and all while keeping me from panicking and stressing out on a regular basis. Frankly this dude deserves 3 months of my rent but he never even asked for it.
I hope I’ll never need him again but if I do he’s gonna be my first call.
