Ryan Friedman is an amazing attorney. He does his due diligence on all matters presented in front of him. He is a true subject matter expert who finds solutions and never excuses. He was upfront with me and attentive to my matter. I was new to Sacramento County after relocating from Los Angeles county. I was referred to Daniel Martin, but I didn't think we would use them, we just had questions. Truthfully I didn't have any idea how to deal with this type of situation so I chose to hire Daniel and I'm glad I did. Daniel guided us through a process that was completely foreign to us. We did not have the time nor the knowledge to fully understand how to handle the paperwork, our rights, and the court process. Daniel was patient, non-judgmental, and understanding. 10 out of 10, highly recommend, do not look else where! Hendrick is amazing! I originally retained him when I was charged with resisting arrest about 3 years ago. A day before my first court date Hendrick took my case and from that point forward took care of EVERYTHING. Fast forward to 2024 my husband was facing a felony charge that could carry a 3 year sentence, Hendrick was able to negotiate time served, home detention for 30 days and his immediate release. Brandon was my husband’s attorney he did not follow through with anything he said he would!!!! he didn’t help with anything he said he would!!!! It took him forever to get any info to my husband and always had a excuses why he didn’t have any info!!! Every time he came to see my husband he was sweaty and tried to talk cool like they were friends just hanging out never really seemed very professional and has bad communication skills!!!!! He’s not for the people his goal is to get you to take the deal and be done with you!!!

They were able to analyze and present all the possibilities to work with my difficult case. Professional, responsive (attorney even responded to my queries while they were overseas) and personable. Right up front they were able to allay much of my stress by explaining exactly what would need to be done with each step of the process and were timely and specific in what I needed to provide or take action with so I was never at a loss on what the next steps were. They were honest and open about the possibilities and always suggested or sought to pursue the approach that would provide the best outcome for me personally. I hired Dan after going through 2 lawyers that did virtually nothing and make mistakes along the way. Dan's confidence in my case and his attention to details was impeccable. He's one of the few lawyers that will ACTUALLY take the time to go over the case in detail and fully understand the intricacies of the case. He was thoughtful, kind and considerate but most of all.....patient with me and my case. I had a serious felony strike case. He was methodical and met with the DA several times in person. He laid out the many mistakes in the county's case. And in the end was able to make the DA realize they had a case that had no merit of basis for continuing further. My case was dismissed.
I would recommend Mr. Olsen to anyone that had a complicated legal issue. You will not be disappointed in the representation he gives. If you are reading this review, I highly suggest you meet with him. Thank you Mr. Olsen and Mr. Abrate for your help. No offense but I hope I never see you again....for a criminal case that is!

Mr. Olsen helped our daughter, who was charged in a criminal assault case and had a high bail levied against her. From his understanding of the charges against her vs her actual level of involvement, he advised that the charges would eventually be dropped, but we would need to be patient and allow the court hearing process to run it's course, unless we posted bail for her release. We did not have the money needed to bail her out, and could not afford the bail bond fee. We followed his advise. During the 2 1/2 months that followed, Mr.Olsen consulted with the DA multiple times in an effort to get the charges and bail reduced or dropped based on the evidence against her, but to no avail. Just before her case went to trial, the DA dropped all charges. We appreciate Mr. Olsen's experience, knowledge of the law and court process, and his efforts invested in helping us with our daughters case. I would consult Mr. Olsen again.

I hired Mike Ross as my lawyer two years ago for a case regarding a spurious robbery charge. Why review him now? Because after I went onto multiple sites including this one in order to warn people of my experiences I decided against it because he had been negatively reviewed into the ground. Indeed, even before I hired him, I printed out the reviews that greatly troubled me, and showed him and asked for his explanation.
Using the greatest skill he ever showed me, he deftly wound each story into the other. So many reasons from each client. Bitterness. Regret. Lack of financing. His inability to help them due to them either hamstringing him, or going against his advice, or just being guilty with overwhelming evidence against them.
I was glued to these stories, and impressed with his speaking style. Surely, I thought, if he defends me with even a modicum of the same skill, this is an easy win, right? Looking back, he divulged way too much information, and I wonder what he tells people of me now, even what rationalizations he uses to say why I am just like all the other clients he discredited.
I don't know what he's done or how, but this site now shows a five star average rating for him. It's both ridiculous and impressive. I'd laugh if he hadn't caused so much harm. Reputation is everything, and it is fitting that Mike Ross' reputation is the only thing he will work his magic to defend and protect.
I chose Mike Ross because I was impressed that a lawyer of his experience could be had for the price point. Careful what you wish for. Other lawyers had quoted me anywhere from 12-25k to go to trial, which I was deadset on, being falsely accused. He quoted me a paltry 10 grand. 5 up front, two payments splitting the rest after. What a deal! i quickly signed our agreement and paid him the first 5k and then an additional 2.5 very shortly after, eager to secure such a skilled man before any one else monopolized him. The only thing that tripped me at the time was his equal rush for me to sign, and a tiny portion of fine print saying the quote was for "pretrial services", which of course was not what we agreed. But he laughed it off, said they'd grabbed the wrong papers, and crossed it out, writing over it in what seemed like pen, that it was including trial services once full payment was received. Hindsight, right?
So how did it go?
We had film and witnesses proving my innocence. I truly felt there was nothing that could possibly go wrong. I felt strange that I only ever called him, never the reverse, but if it was such a slam dunk, so what?
Then he deposed me, but not really, it was the last time I ever saw him. He met me in a secluded spot out in old town Sac by the river and took notes on my version of events. He noted that I had not gathered the relevant film nor contacted the relevant witnesses, to my shock, which he said he'd guess he'd have to do then. He never did. Then for three months before the trial, ignored my calls with the exception of his secretary calling to inquire about the final 2.5k, which we'd already agreed he'd get once the trial date was set, which also should have alerted me.
On the date of the pretrial hearing, we went on Zoom, he came on late, and just destroyed any hope I had. He said he was there for pretrial only, and not my main council. Then once I, flabbergasted, asked to recess the hearing to talk to him on the phone, he denied. The ADA offered a bad deal never discussed, and Ross stopped it and said then and there that if I didn't accept it, he was gone, and I was on my own. I had no more money, and therefore no way to sue him, and worst, was blindsided at my greatest hour of need. He knew this. I made what deal I could without him and just plead out. No evidence, no witnesses, he had never done any work he promised. Just like that, he disappeared.
You will regret any relationship to this man. Maybe he erases this too. Please don't make my mistake!

I dont know what your situation is and im keeping my name hidden for privacy reasons but this guy isaac choy saved my life literally. At first i thought he wasnt doing his job but he was i was just too impatient. Its a slow process. Dont trick yourself being impatient. I had a case in 2019 and the only deal was 7 years 4 month and 4 felonies including a california strike. I got him as a panel attorney and he saved my life. Lets fast forward to sentencing. We did not file a romero motion and he got me 2 felonies no strike no prison time and a county year all of which i served on ankle monitor. I think i did about 88 days total in the main jail maybe less but that was prior to him actually starting the work on my case. In the beginning i felt like he was ignoring me but hes just like that. He works like that but he WAS working to help me and for me and i couldnt have asked for a better outcome or attorney. Let him work for you. Its going to take some time because theirs so many california cases. I hope your end result is as good as mine

Mr. Donato was not aggressive and didn't communicate well. In fact he didn't do much. I called and emailed him several times , to no avail. I met with Donato once to discuss case strategy. The day of the "Hearing of information" Mr. Donato tells me he cannot go to trial for me and that I would have to hire another attorney. Donato referred me to his Private Investigator, we spoke I paid her retainer as well and never heard from this person again. I'm still waiting for a response to my many text and email attempts. Nevertheless, Donato cut me a refund check to go away. I guess my money wasn't good enough. Zero Stars. I hired the public Defender and I'm 150% satisfied comparing to my previous council.

Alan Donato's hiring fees were a couple thousand dollars cheaper than other lawyers. After I hired him my worries went away. He walked me through every step of the way. Basically all I needed to do was show up when he needed me to. Most of the language and laws were foreign to me but I wasn't worried. One year later, my case is being dropped after I complete some classes. It went from no case and no chance of winning with the public defender to a total victory in my eyes.. My husband had a legal issue which would have resulted in a 10 day jail stay with probation to follow. We consulted Mr. Param Pabla and let me tell you how he worked for my husband:
1. No Jail Time
2. No probation
3. Case Dismissed!
Mr. Pabla is great negotiator! He negotiated that if my husband completed 30 hours of community service that not only will he not be on probation but the case WILL BE DISMISSED! He was always available if not by phone, then by email. Either way, he responded to our concerns expeditiously! Even though Mr. Pabla is a very busy attorney, he always made us feel like time was never an issue, although it was.

My husband and I needed to update everything -family trust, will, medical stuff. Param was really patient -answering all my questions -even when I asked them twice. He wanted to be sure I understood everything we were doing. All docs were sent to us so we could go through them on our own time before anything was finalized.
