This lady was my Second lawyer after my first lawyer dropped out of my case cuz I wouldn’t take the 3to6 months of probation for a gun that I had Concealed next to me the police were rong and miss Taylor had my case dropped olny two days on the case and she got it dropped for me and I just got my 380 back from the police property room thank u so much for fighting for me and Doing your job honestly miss Taylor u are a blessing and I’m keeping her number in my phone just in case can’t thank Tanisha Taylor Enough wish she was here so I can give her a big big hug

Mario is an AMAZING attorney. I received a traffic violation, failing to yield. Mario represented me and was ready for trial. He was representing someone at 9am and 11am and rushed to make mine at 10am. Mario arrived ready for trial, and after talking to the Prosecutor (2 min after his arrival) we received a dismissal. This process was smooth and easy. Mario is extremely informative, effective and the best! Instead of having to be in probation, pay attorney fees, etc., we walked out with a dismissal! I will always go back to him if I am seeking legal representation.

Retained Mario to help with a felony drug possession charge. He thoroughly reviewed the case and discovered problems with the prosecution case including lack of evidence and questionable arrest among other things. Hired after I was arrested for DWI. Thought it was the end of the world for me. Patrick took his time, listening to me and explaining my options. Whenever I had questions (and fears), he always answered me and alleviated my stress. Ultimately, it was up to me to do what I needed to do. Patrick was there to guide me along the way.
Long story short, Patrick helped facilitate my case being dismissed about a year and half after the occurrence! As if that wasn't sweet enough, a few months later, Patrick also made the arrangements to have the DUI expunged from my record!!! It was a long process, requiring lots of time, money and legal hoops to jump through, but I'm done. Patrick and his team were awesome throughout! I can't recommend him enough!

I could not be more happy with the outcome of my case. I was arrested for DUI with a high BAC and a multi car accident (no one was hurt) so my initial situation had little hope. After meeting with Amando for the first time he made it clear to me that the journey through this situation may be tough, but the final product might not be as bleak as it seems. Amando got me to do all of the victim impact panels and alcohol awareness classes out of the way at the front end and made a good enough case to the prosecutor that my DUI was dismissed! A plea deal resulted in the case being refiled as a lesser charge but the great weight of a DUI being forever stamped on my background was lifted. Amando is one of attorneys in the firm. The firm helped me set up expected terms for a case plea. The terms were acceptable for the charge but would have a lasting negative impact on my life. Amando strived to achieve a more favorable result for his client (myself) and continued to negotiate over time with the prosecution team. It was because of his persistence and resolve that we were legally able to downgrade a severe charge to a lesser charge. The result will or would have, in the case of the more severe charge, a major impact on my life in terms of social and societal implications.
He clearly showed concern and care for his client. The case could have been closed several months prior to the actual plea date. Amando chose to provide added professional value and service and not see his client have trouble finding a job or experience repercussions for a criminal record.
His personable attitude is ideal for a courtroom setting where an attorney must be respected and well-liked by the prosecution and state employees. I feel that his demeanor and candor played a significant role in achieving better terms for the case.
The legal fees were well worth the result for the outcome of my case. I felt as if he did go above and beyond for the benefit of the client. I highly recommend Amando Pena for legal services. If you are looking for an attorney who will go above and beyond for you, Jimmy is by far-- the BEST!
He was referred to me by a mutual friend and being a "first time offender", I really didn't understand much. Jimmy sat down with me at our first meeting and explained the "law" to me in terms that I could understand. Not once did he ever make me feel "dumb" for questions I had, as I assumed most attorneys would. He calmed me when I panicked the day of my hearing, assuring me, "everything will be OK"...and it was. He fought for me, knowing I was innocent, just in the "wrong place at the wrong time" situation. The punishment I was given (even though I didn't want any punishment, but who does..) fit the crime.
Jimmy returned every phone call, text message, or email to me so quickly, I honestly couldn't believe it. Watching Jimmy work his magic in the court room was amazing. There is no question as to why so many people want Jimmy to represent them. Just being around him makes you feel better. He is so confident in his work, but never shows any disrespect or looks down upon anyone.
Just for laughs, if I could commit a crime just to be around him, I would. :)
I've honestly never met a more caring man in my life, and for an attorney, that's major brownie points!

Brad and his team helped me complete my divorce that had complex international and extenuating circumstances attached. Brad’s knowledge of Texas Divorce Law was second to none. Brad (and Jeff) substituted in after a long drawn out process after filing (8 months) that got virtually NOWHERE with my previous attorney because she was MIA in both response time and counsel! Not only did Brad jump in, assess the situation and the proposed agreement my spouse and I had come to (absent counsel from previous attorney). Brad thoughtfully considered and acknowledged the spirit of what we were trying to accomplish, provided insight into potential drawbacks or areas of recommended clarification and focused exclusively on clarification of language vs. exorbitant revisions to the settlement documents (to put his mark on it) that would have further delayed finalization.
He was knowledgeable, professional, responsive and diligent (as was Jeff)-I highly recommend him.

I knew I wanted to hire Brad right after my initial consultation. I was going back to court for the second time over my child possession agreement and felt like I didn't have any options. Brad came to the table with three different effective solutions and took the time to explain in detail what each one meant. We were supplied a revised document from my x that had many holes in it. Brad took the time to explain why we had to add certain notes and even the smallest detail is crucial when protecting my rights. A friend who is a cop recommended him for my young son on an arson investigation. I texted him right away as the cops were at our door and with his advice, we got them to leave right away. My son got charged with a first degree felony anyway because the cops messed up a statement in the case. Warren was able to find this error and got the case dismissed. His promptness in responding and dedication to defending us saved our son from years of agony and a possible felony conviction. He always responded right away and works great with everybody. From the minute I walked into Jorge’s office I felt good. When we sat down and spoke about why I was there I was treated with the utmost attention and respect. I broke down crying a few times and Jorge was professional and very concerned about my situation. When I left his office I had other attorneys to visit but I felt so good that I went home and knew that Jorge was my attorney. A few years ago I was facing a possible DWI charge for failing to blow during a traffic stop. First time ever in trouble in my life and I was shaken to say the least. Firstly I don’t condone DWI and while I made a decision not to blow purely out of fear it cost me dearly. I learned quickly that refusal gets you an instant stay at the county jail. Lauren was able to negotiate with prosecuters and convince them it would never happen again and that I have (and I have) made life altering changes. The fact is I was guilty and my BAL was over the limit. Lauren’s skills and relationships with her peers allowed me a second chance. She obtained an occupational license for me, preventing me from losing my career and such. I was given the opportunity of probation with the DWI being dismissed and a much lesser charge similar to a parking ticket in lieu of a DWI.

After hiring an attorney and having all kinds of issues in regards to calls not being returned and dealing with incompetent office staff. We decided to look for another attorney, thankfully we found Sherry Armstrong. She was very quick in responding to our numerous questions with thoughtful and detailed texts and email. I had gotten into trouble with Walmart for theft back in December. After my first appearance at the court, I was told I should get a lawyer. A friend of mine had recommended Michelle so I went for it. Law is a very complicated subject and can leave many with a horrible headache. Michelle told me exactly what I needed to do and I did not have to appear in court once after going the first time. All of my papers were turned in on time and she updated me whenever she went to court. My case was dismissed and she gave me advice for my record in the future as well. She is highly recommeneded. Having no prior criminal record, I found myself in the unfortunate situation of being arrested for a felony. I met with Karen and hired her to defend me in this matter. I had a case where I was charged with a felony for using the wrong university golf cart to set up a scavenger hunt, in my undergraduate year in 2014, for students to learn about the history and culture of my alma mater. I totally forgot about a court date in Refugio county. The court put a hold on my license and charged me with failure to appear. In a time when my husband and I were left devastated by a crime that he had committed and while other consulted lawyers described his case as desolate because of his early confession upon arrest, Christy Jack and Letty Martinez provided perspective and comfort.
