Hired Ben for a misdemeanor reckless driving charge, with the possibility of jail time. During consultation, Ben was very methodical in laying out what I needed to do to prep for court. In court, Ben negotiated the terms of my penalty with the prosecutor and the officer. He pulled me out of the courtroom and explained to me the options on the table and made a recommendation.
The terms Ben negotiated on my behalf were the best I could hope for. Just a fine. No license suspension. No active jail time. The terms were so favorable that the first judge would not sign off on the terms. The second judge did, but both were furious with the prosecutor for agreeing to the terms. That is a testament to Ben's negotiating prowess and I could not be happier with the results.

Few months ago I got a reckless driving ticket , I talked five or six lawyers before I decided on Mr.Clingan. it was my first time going to court for anything so I got a free consultation. Mr.Clingan took his time and gave me a very descriptive overview of my legal options , and what he could offer, his rates are very fair, and he doesn’t use fear tactics to get your business. Mr.Clingan is very responsive to texts/calls and he seems like one of the few who genuinely care about their client. I am extremely pleased with his services.
I also agree with the other 5 star reviewers he seems to be the best traffic attorney in the area. I’ll be referring him to any family or friends who end up in a similar situation.

I hit the jackpot of charges in Arlington VA and was charged with a drunk in public while carrying a concealed weapon without a CCW and had my 2 small kids with me which the police also charged me with 2 counts of contributing to delinquent of a minor. I also had a seperate charge a few weeks later for driving under a suspended license. So 5 harsh charges and I was facing 1 to 2 years, maybe more, as well as tons ot fines and whatever else. I started to call various attorneys for consultation and I was reccomended Mr. Deane by another attorney who could not take my case due to being out of town and when they said he is a hard hitter, they were not lying. Mr. Deane listened to my case and did not sugar coat or promise the impossible to make me feel jolly. He was were caring, and direct and said he will do everything he can to help. He also advised me on things to do before court to help my chances, which I believe it did. Once the court dates came he was able to handle his part and got half the charges dropped, no fines, no probation and only like 12 days to serve which Is a breeze compared to 6 months or more if I stayed with my public defender or went with someone else. I am glad I hired Mr. Deane and will hire him again for any future issues that may need an experienced attorney that will get things done like a pro that he is. I used a few lawyers in the past and I highly reccomend Mr. Deane. The guy is a Pro and a Hard Hitter. You wont be dissapointed.

I used Sean to help me upgrade my OTH discharge. On our first visit, Sean was extremely professional and caring. He listened to my story with full attention. We went over my medical, mental and personnel records and made a timeline from when I first joined to when I left the service. Eventually, we put together a well designed case to submit to the Naval Discharge Review Board. I was not expecting it, but Sean was able to upgrade my discharge to full Honorable from an OTH. Even after opening up his own firm, Sean stay true and kept me up to date on my case. I cant thank Sean enough, it has been a long journey but I finally got the discharge that I truly deserve. I'm an attorney in Georgia, so when my college-aged son received a (super-speeder, as we call it in Georgia) speeding ticket coming back from visiting a friend at V.T., I did some research and felt like Ms. Boyer would be the right fit to represent him. I've met Mr. Nourse when he took a court appointed case in Fairfax VA. I've realized right away that he was different. He reminded me of what I used to believe lawyers stood for when I was just a innocent and naive child. I've had dreams to become a lawyer as I believed they were supposed to stand up for the weak, innocent, & even poor but punishes and puts away the evil, dangerous & harmful people. So imagine my shock and despair when every single attorney I've encountered or heard of has been nothing but huge disappointment, totally predictable, and only has two main goals (money & winning). But not Mr. Nourse! He showed genuine effort on his court appointed case with zero hint of negativity judgements or biased opinions. He's given us honest input and advice riddled with purely good intentions. He's also told me that it wasn't too late for me to study now to become a lawyer. This is the 3rd time that Mr. Turner has represented me in court, and so I owe him a well merited review for his services. While it is difficult for any professional to divulge information, especially in when it comes to perceived criminal offenses, I feel like his efforts merit details. My background is a government contractor, where any criminal offenses would reduce my access to confidential information.
That being said, Mr. Turner has defended me successfully in the past, and this third time around he is still as good as 10 years ago. I was alegedly caught driving in the EZ pass lanes of i66, going 91 in a 70 mph, and was issued a reckless driving ticket. This ticket would cause me quite some trouble if found guilty. I had no choice but to call William Turner. He returned my call promptly, laid out a plan of action with some items that I needed to pursue, and then he met me in court early.
Mr. Turner presented my driving record, additional documentation, and a very well written disposition stating the case. My final case outcome was improper driving, which is a substantial reduction in fines as well as a non criminal ticket, as reckless driving is a level 4 misdemeanor. I could not be happier with the results. I recommend Mr. Turner to anyone that is in need of good criminal representation. While I want to say that I hope not to use his services again (ha, ha), he will be the first person I call if ever in legal trouble.

William Turner is nothing short of a life saver. You will not find a better defense attorney in Arlington County, especially in the domain of DUI charges. It is impossible to summarize all the reasons why into a couple sentences, so I will start by saying I fully support the key points of reviews already posted.
Bill’s reputation is backed not just by reviews here, but by members of the Arlington Judicial system. On the day of my release from Jail in March 2020, the shift Sergeant who I talked to previously about my case literally said “Wow, you clearly had the best lawyer for your situation” as I walked out the door serving 1 month instead of 12. Many other jail guards knew him by name as a former Arlington prosecutor, and immediately viewed me with new credibility (to the extent possible in jail of course) and stated he was one of the top defense attorneys in the county.
Clearly Bill’s experience and professionalism are unmatched, however it is the extra mile he goes for his clients that sets him further apart from his peers. Through my own negligent behavior, I called on Bill for representation more than once. Each time, he was straight-forward, honest and didn’t sugar-coat anything with false-hope. He took extra time each time we met, including close to an hour visit at 8 PM on a Wednesday after already putting in a full day of caseload while I was locked-up. Additionally, he called my parents in Chicago multiple times late at night to assure them I was in good hands.
Obviously, you don’t want to need a defense attorney, but when you do, that is not the time to be bargain shopping. Bill’s fees are on the high-end for a reason, you get what you pay for. Freedom and getting back to a better life is priceless.

Mr. Kreitzer was hired by me for what I thought would be a short case. However, it’s lasted over a year (not by any fault of his) due to opposition dragging things on and on.
