This review is long overdue and is more than well-deserved. A couple of years back, I had visited Staunton, VA with some friends. Before the night was over, I had received a charge and had to return for court. I looked around at several attorneys and had a few consultations. After a few rounds of that, I found Susan through a Google search and contacted her. She offered a free consultation and spent 30+ minutes with me on the phone going over the details of my case and the events leading up to the charge. She was extremely knowledgeable, proactive, and genuine in the consultation, which really stood out to me more than the other attorneys I spoke with. She gave me very solid advice and offered a very fair price for representation. I thought it over for a couple of hours and I quickly called her back, which was a very good decision. In the months leading up to the court date, Susan checked in on me several times and gave advice. When the day finally came to go to court, Susan talked to the prosecuting attorney and they decided not to pursue the charges against me, and gave me 25 hours of community service instead. The anxiety and tension I felt about potentially having a charge on my record faded away after that date. I could not be more grateful for the great work that Susan did for me. I will always recommend her to anyone who's looking for legal representation in Staunton and the surrounding areas.

Linda is helping us out with a child support enforcement issue. She put our minds at ease immediately. Her expertise on the subject was apparent as soon as she gathered all of the relevant data on our case. She even gave strategies for how to discuss these issues with our child when they come up. She also gave a list of psychologists that can help. This is such a sensitive subject and can be traumatic for the child. It was nice to have an expert lawyer who cared for the human beings involved in the case, not just the case itself.

I was looking for a lawyer who would offer a free consultation to help me determine if it was worthwhile for me to pursue spousal support. I had read favorable reviews on Linda Shin and scheduled an appointment. I was, admittedly, disappointed when I was scheduled to meet with her associate, Michael Finch. I should not have been. He listened intently and compassionately while taking notes throughout our consultation. After, he asked me to supply more documentation/information and allow him time to research. After multiple back and forth emails, he advised that there was likely little to be gained by pursuing this action. He spent far more time on this than I ever would have expected for a free consultation. I was tremendously impressed by his ethics and integrity and would not hesitate to return to this firm with any future needs.

Mary Soliman was an extremely courteous and effective attorney. In the traffic case she worked on with me, she patiently listened to the details of my case, understood my perspective and context, and helped us get the result we both wanted in the end. Ms. Blessing was recommended by a friend. Upon speaking with her and a mediator, our divorce was settled with both parties happy, and processed within two weeks. She took extreme care to ensure that it did not become contentious, and was very thorough in her explanations of the processes. We walked away from it with minimal fallout and mostly amicable. Mr Samuels was helpful as much as possible. I hired him over 2 years ago to assist me with my disability claim. I couldn't have been more pleased with the way he kept in touch and was always a step ahead in the claim process. As today,promptly returns calls.
I have a current insurance company issue & need guidance in the steps to get this rectified so providers can be paid as in the past 30+ yrs I have been with them as a spouse of a retiree.
Understandably, Mr Samuels does have to require a Escrow account deposit to start his assistance. He was very thorough in explaining the associated fee and is understandable given the possibility of time devoted. Unfortunately SSDI is my only income. I don't qualify for any assistance the government supposedly pays those who are unable to meet living requirements due to my being married and my husband receiving actually less per month than I do after the SS insurance Part B deduction.
Mr Samuels is so professional and shows genuine empathy given my disability when initially spoke with him in 2019. He has shown that same professionalism given my current situation. I would (and have) highly recommended this lawyer who genuinely cares more about the client than the understable need for case charge currency. However it is very competitive given the economy and other providers in his profession. Mr Samuels dedicated the time to assure my disability case moved swiftly through the system process and held true to any statement made. Worked with several of my providers as needed . Was very professional in guiding me through the required process of gathering office and the many procedure notes required by me from the Social Security Administration. Mr Samuels is very knowledgeable in the disability program and the way he breaks the language down to layman's terms is a helpful qualification of many definite accomplishments acquired by this top notch attorney.

I have been represented by David Martin in the past as a private attorney and recently as a public defender for a misdemeanor traffic case. He is a very talented lawyer and will be always be quick to answer inquiries in a very prompt manner. Every personal experience I have had with him has been incredibly positive and I am always satisfied with the case resolution. He possesses a great rapport with the prosecution team and judges which will create a fair atmosphere. Mr. Martin is also very honest and personable which develops a great attorney client relationship and confidence in his abilities.
As my case continued, I saved up enough funds to retain private representation and asked Mr. Martin if he thought it was necessary, but he assured me that he would fight equally as hard for his client whether retained privately or appointed by the court. I trusted him and continued with him as my public defender which resulted in the case not being prosecuted due to his effective strategy. I was both incredibly pleased and relieved with the result.
If you can afford an attorney, his private lawyer fees and retainers are very reasonable. As an appointed public defender, you can expect the same professionality, exceptional representation, and a positive case resolution. I recommend David Martin and I am happy to see he now has his own personal law firm, he definitely earned it.

Talk about professional. Mr Yates will tell you the ins and outs of your case. This was my first time dealing with Johnny Law so by nature I was nervous. They always say go with your first instinct and that's what I did. So I called Mr Yates and the receptionist was as calm as possible and very embarrassing. She told me with confidence "Mr Yates is the man for you and he'll take care of you" from there I set up a meeting. I can admit I was nervous speaking with him but he reassured me that "I'll do what's best for you" he was straight forward but tactful in his delivery, but I knew he was the man for my case. On the day of the trail he smiled and told me worse case scenario. But as they say in wrestling "for every move there is a counter and for every counter there's a move." When I say he was well prepared that's an understatement. We walk into the court room and less than 10 minutes dismissed! He's well worth every penny.

I was between a rock a hard place and had to seek help in very short order, or I would lose my home to unfortunately circumstances. When I found Brian's information, I picked up the phone, on a whim, and assumed that I'd be leaving a voicemail and then waiting for days to hear back, as time was ticking away. I believe it was a weekend evening; phone started to ring and he answered right away!
I was completely unprepared, but midst being very emotional and almost crying, I tried to explain my situation. He listened, he asked key questions, he seemed empathetic and he calmed me down by providing a few possible solutions. I hung up the phone feeling entirely different and relieved. From that point on we communicated by text message and a few phone calls, and he never missed a beat. He was immediately responsive, frank, to the point and ready to clarify my clueless questions. Long story short, he was able to stop a foreclosure within 24 hours. He then continued to guide me forward in solving my issues in a timely manner and closing that chapter of life. All of this was done without even meeting face to face (Covid). If only other professionals could take a note in being responsive, frank, blunt and effective as Brian, I'm sure many aspects of life would be far better than they are, for many. My family and I full heartedly recommend Brian's services.

Robert Dain is the best lawyer in this area. He is a seasoned legal professional, experienced and extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of the law. Well respected in the courts, and held in high regard, Mr. Dain is fair and honest, humble -- all while committing himself to his clients' best interest in their case. I swiftly moved my divorce case to Mr. Dain after realizing my "family law" junior attorney was not making any traction, unfriendly and one who pandered to the OC. Mr. Dain is savvy and simply genuine. He had my best interest and that of my children at the forefront, in advocating for me. Robert (Bob) Dain and his partners at his firm handled my case (foreclosure resulting in subrogation claim filing Breach of Contract) in a professional manner and I didn't feel like he was 'riding the clock' so to speak on my case. EXPERIENCE MATTERS.... The plaintiff in my case was hoping for easy picking but Bob and his firm was able to blow it out of the water causing the Plaintiff Attorney to request a non-suit (Dismissal without Prejudice).
If you have a $90K problem you need a GOOD attorney and I would not hesitate to counsel Bob and his firm again for cases in Virginia.

She took time out her day to go to the clerk’s office and confirm the case should have been closed. Without her following up on this, there could have been a warrant issued.

Over a year ago I began one of the hardest journeys I have ever walked!! Fighting for custody in the state of Virginia as a father is a lot more difficult than you could ever imagine. I was faced with a family law issue where I could have represented myself. The matter was fairly cut and dried and I was concerned that hiring an attorney would be "overkill". I am extremely happy with my decision because Ms. Pervaiz was very supportive and professional from beginning to end. At the time, I was in a very tight bind and conflicted on what to do next after reading about consequences that were levied on others in a similar situation to my own.
I knew that I wanted to hire Ms. Pervaiz after the initial consultation because she was confident and provided me assurance right away.
