My cousin posted our situation on LA Attorney and Paul among other lawyers answered the post. I emailed him and addressed the email to a different attorney as I forgot to change the generic email I made to Paul's name. This was the 1st awesome thing about Paul. Regardless of him receiving an email addressed to a different attorney (i.e. knowing I was shopping around), He still responded to my email and was willing to hear my story. Paul and I talked over the phone and ultimately, I did not have a case with my situation (real estate seller issue [me being the buyer]), but it was the time and knowledge that Paul provided to help me get to our conclusion that I am very grateful to him for. He listened to my plight (the entire story) and told me the truth. I've always had a fear of attorney's wanting a retainer or a consult fee before talking to them, so pursuing a lawyer as always been scary. Speaking with Paul brought me one step closer to conquering that fear as Paul listen to me, told me the truth, gave me some advice, and ultimately saved my husband and I from spending thousands of dollars on mediation/ arbitration that wouldn't get the results desired as we had no case.

Is he $$$, yes. Does $$$ mean better? In this case, absolutely. We had 0 problems, mishaps, or difficulties with our case. It went smoothly. Beautifully. As beautiful as a giant mountain of stress can be.

If you found yourself with a lawyer that promises you the world and promises top notch service just to be uncontactable after you paid the retainer, then you are in the same boat as me.
I had another lawyer before coming to David Zolkin in a last ditch effort to save my company. The other lawyer was simply uncontactable after i paid the retainer. Their secretary would always take a message but i would never get a call back. And creditors don't wait. They are super scary and not being able to get a hold of your lawyer is super frustrating.
Long story short. I cancelled the other useless lawyer and came to David Zolkin for some real help.
David is a very kind and patient lawyer. He will not sell you the most expensive product unless he feels you really need it. He took the time to understand me and my business and we worked out a way without having to go through chapter 11. which would be really expensive and a win for the lawyer.
Instead we focused on renegotiating with the creditors and to get some breathing room.
David will be by your side. Not only that he will give you his person cell number and you can contact him anytime. And by anytime i mean anytime. He will always pick up and answer your text.
He is truly a diamond lawyer and i can only recommend him to anyone that needs a lawyer for credit related issues.

Sanaz has a good team and thorough system to ensure your bankruptcy gets finalized.
I am self employed, my case was more in depth.
I interviewed several attorneys in San Diego and LA area and they were suggesting Chapter 13 and avoiding chapter 7 because of my equity in my home, they said I was limited on exemptions ie and my vehicle and personal property were at risk!
Sanaz is very creative with creating and interpreting exemptions that the other attorneys NEVER mentioned and or understood, interpreting exemptions is very important, ie “Commercial Work Vehicle” (Truck) verses “vehicle”, that changed the game, the trustee wanted more money for my work truck and was also trying me on personal property and Sanaz put them in check!
She got my Chapter 7 discharged, I kept my condo equity, I owed nothing for my commercial work truck and personal items.
The other attorneys I interviewed were ok with having me agree to make an uncomfortable stressful payment plan to make it easy for them to file chapter 13….
Sanaz and her team tolerated all my calls and emails = STRESS and got me through it.

We got a referral for Rabin for our chapter 7 bankruptcy. His team worked with the complications of income and assets, and the entire process was very smooth and easy. We had a technical glitch which forced our online 341 meeting to be rescheduled, not their fault, and it only caused a short delay.
They answered our questions and were attentive, we never felt like we weren't important to them.

I got through Chapter 7 bankruptcy successfully with the legal help from Attorney Cliff Bordeaux. In 4/2011, I received an official letter from United States Bankruptcy Court Central District of California to discharge all my declared debts. It was one of the happiest days of my life!

Received a judgement for a credit card l defaulted on over 10 years ago, they were going to take 25% of my wages by garnishing my paychecks. I had interviewed several lawyers before I picked her as my lawyer. She was the only one who called me back directly. The other lawyers had their secretary called me instead. She also had a novel approach to my divorce. Unfortunately, it didn't pan out. Throughout the case, she represented me even when she had to taged out of my case due to personal issue, she still helped me find a new lawyer. I worked with Price Law Group through my Bankruptcy and From the moment I had my initial call in I was impressed with their customer service. They answered in a friendly manner and didn't sound angry or bothered with me like some other places I called. Unsure and having never been through a process like this they eased my concerns by first listening to my situation completely. I was frequently cut off and not allowed to explain the full scope of my situation when I spoke with other law firms. They first listened then they explained how they may be able to help me. They broke down the Bankruptcy process and how long it would take and how much it would cost. They even worked with me and allowed me to do a partial downpayment. The thing that impressed me most is the responsiveness when I have a question or concern. I would email Scott and have a response back literally within minutes addressing all my concerns in the email. Their prompt response time made me feel as if somebody was ALWAYS working for me and not as if I was a second thought.
