My fiancé and I had the most helpful, informative, consultation with Alison. You could tell that she was an honest lawyer and wasn’t just trying to get us to spend our money with her law firm. She made us feel comfortable, was up front, and gave us tons of information and suggestions. She even followed up with us after our consultation via email. You could tell she really wanted to help us. Although we are still deciding what is right for us, she was amazing at directing us in the right direction. 2 years ago I was hit by a car while on my bike. I'm an international student and had no idea what to do or how I was going to deal with all the medical insurance claims. I hired Scott and he was spectacular to work with. He went out of his way to reduce medical bills for me and explained in detail what each bill meant and what I should do. The advice he provided was spot on and as the driver was responsible, he helped me settle with the driver's insurance company. After getting a concussion from the accident and then being bombarded with letters and calls from the driver's insurance company, I doubt I would have had the same outcome without Scott's support and knowledge.
I felt so taken care of at the firm, and Scott really took his time to sit down with me and work through the things I didn't understand, no detail was too small. I highly, highly recommend Scott's services.

Scott was honest about the expectations for our case, and was willing to take it even though many other lawyers had given me an attitude and told me our case was too small to bother with. My partner and I are both professionals and work hard for what we do have. I was put off by many of the other lawyers who wanted to charge an arm and a leg and insult me at the same time. Scott was down to earth, friendly and yet still professional. He checked in with us often, clarifying our wishes and represented us well. Just having him represent us made the other party back down and we are hoping they stay down, but if for whatever reason we have to go to court I will want Scott representing us again.

Shah Peerally is the best Immigration Lawyer, according to my experience. He is not only extremely professional and attentive, but also knows exactly how to help you, whatever is your immigration case. Before meeting him, I visited multiple attorney firms and immigration lawyers, and they all rejected to represent me, arguing that my case was "too complicated," "impossible to achieve", or because they lacked immigration experience or knowledge on cases like mine. I paid many consultations only to be told that they couldn't help me. Attorney Shah took my case and helped me get my Green card. I had a relatively unique case that many other immigration lawyers were unsure about.Since my first consultation with him, he was extremely honest, and instead of rejecting me like all other lawyers or giving me false hopes, he clearly stated that it would be difficult, yet not impossible, and said it was worth trying. He was very specific and clear about the procedure and all the possible outcomes, and explained with exhaustive detail every possible scenario. He immediately inspired me great trust, and in the end we have our Green cards! I hired Kevin to represent me in a case in which I wanted to return a car after purchase. The car dealership lied about a lot of things including being dodgy about the return policy while my query for return was in accordance with the return policy. Kevin represented me and went with a step by step plan of execution. He is methodical and detail oriented and won a settlement in my favor. I really liked working with Kevin as he is very responsive and communicates well. Robert was there when we needed him. The only time he did not return my calls immediately was when he was in court. He took was through bankrupcy and I was about to be foreclosed on my home. Update: Doan contacted me immediately after posting my review to discuss all of my concerns. He assured me that my experience was due to miscommunication and that it did not reflect how they normally interact with clients. He rectified the issues and was able to help me. I was not expecting a quick response since it is a large company. I figured that i was just another number, but I'm glad that i decided to stay. I'm satisfied with the detailed care that was given to me, and i trust that my case will be taken care of with the most attention. Thanks Doan.
I called them twice for a bankruptcy quote, and I was told that they would call me back. A man called and took my info and asked me to fill out the intake form sent to my email. I filled it out and waited 3 hours. I called back, and they forwarded me to Lindsey, who handles all intake forms. She didn't answer, so I left a message and emailed her. She emailed and said she never got it. I filled out the form again and I called & emailed to see if she got it. She didn't email me back until the following night after 8pm and asked me to call and make a few consultation appointment. I finally get the appointment for 4 days later. I waited until 1:30 to get the call. The lady asked me if I filled out the intake form & I said yes, twice. She then says she will have to call me back in 20mins to look over the intake inform. The whole process was a waste of my time, unorganized and unprofessional. I wouldn't trust them with handling serious matters. I went with another lawyer that had all 5 stars with over 200 reviews.

I’m a 100% Disabled Combat Wounded Veteran that was in a coma (documented) when a supposed case was brought against me. I explained to this firm I was never served nor given my due process of law and still have never seen the supposed judgment and they still harass me and try to garnish my wages from a supposed judgment over 8 years ago. Then they go after my new wife who just legally immigrated here 3 years ago and has nothing to do with this at all. Due to my disability I needed more time to have someone help with the paperwork that is being sent to me incomplete and it’s repeatedly sent back saying not returned in time. Profiting off soldiers that have absolutely no way to defend themselves is a great business model. Just because you can, doesn’t mean you should…
P.S. I never consulted Michael Collins but this review requires you to fill every block.

My young daughter was mistreated at a local hospital and she asked for my help in locating an attorney to represent her in an alleged malpractice lawsuit again the hospital and its two surgeons. After a lot of searching, we opted to retain Mr. Borison who appeared to be a very competent attorney. He agreed to take my daughter's case, and she formally retained his services. He appeared to be very professional and compassionate about my daughter's mistreatment. After gathering the medical reports and other pertinent facts, he issued a professionally written demand letter to the hospital and doctors and told us that he would have to wait for their response. After several months of no activity, he called my daughter and told her that he did not realize that CA had a two year statute of limitations for filing a medical malpractice action in the Superior Court. Further, he told her that because of not filing the action timely, that she would not be legally able to pursue further recourse against the hospital or the two surgeons. He offered no compensation or other relief to my daughter, other than to say he was sorry. I wrote Mr. Borison asking him to consider compensating her for his oversight. He never responded. We are consulting with other attorneys concerning other options now to get my daughter the compensation she so deserves for almost losing her life (according to her family doctor) at the hands of the hospital and doctors. Not understanding the statute of limitations appears to be a serious oversight. I am a licensed (by the United States Treasury) enrolled agent representing clients before tax agencies nationally and internationally. Being intimately familiar with statutes of limitation are an integral aspect of my profession. It was reasonable for my daughter and I to expect the same of Mr. Borison. Unfortunately, we were wrong in believing this. My daughter and I have spoken with other attorneys who have confirmed the statute of limitations, and affirmed that my daughter has no legal grounds to pursue recourse against the hospital or the doctors.

After receiving an HOA emergency special assessment (esa) resolution letter from Debt Collector Pamela's office, hired by my HOA, we made many failed attempts to obtain copies of the inaccurate records she alleged caused the esa. I had to solicit the help of the California State Attorney General's office. Debt Collector Pamela admitted the records do not exist, and no financial audit was conducted. In an email reply dated June 27, 2023, Debt Collector Pamela continued to claim the debt was valid, and there is evidence. But has not provided such evidence.
No evidence, no debt, it's the law, Atty. Pamela Moore.
Stop scamming poor people.

Kent took 3 months to go back and forth to creditors with no outcome whatsoever and no paper trail, just word of mouth to the work he was doing. He would send weekly excel sheets of his "work" and would charge 10 minutes for an email that was one sentence long when it literally does not take more than 30s. After a couple thousand dollars and ending up back where we started, we ended having to get a different lawyer.

Kent cannot be trusted to have any of your interests in mind. He shamelessly inflated his timesheet on what, even her claimed to be, was a very simple case. He conveniently inflated his timesheet to complete his entire retainer. Once the case was dismissed in my favor, he took a call from the opposing party, charging me for that, and then setting up a meeting with her which he would further charge me for. There was no reason for him to take the call or create a meeting, it would extend a case that was over, essentially working against me. He also charged me for filling out paper work to pursue the prevailing party's clause which he never actually submitted. truly fraudulent.
