If you’ve ever had any experience with getting arrested, spending time in jail till a judge hears your case and allows you to leave, following up with further court dates, as well as the implications of all these occurrences - it can be incredibly overwhelming and rather difficult to keep a straight head throughout.
That is ofcourse NOT the case if you’re able and/or fortunate enough to find yourself a lawyer who genuinely gives a damn about what might happen to you - and legitimately knows her way around the court room & the legal system.
And so, try as I may - but I simply struggle to adequately express how immensely grateful I am to Serena Townsend for how swift, professional, honest, and KIND she was with me throughout the entirety of my case.
I often would display very palpable stress in the face of this ordeal - but she kept me on the straight, and was very patient with me when she had plenty of reason not to necessarily be so patient…

Hiring a New York attorney can be a nerve wracking process. If you are like me, you first have to endlessly interview attorneys to find one that is even willing to undertake your matter if its not worth millions. Then, after you finally find the willing few, you select the one you are most comfortable with and hope for the best. Fortunately for me, this time around, I came across Mary Madeline Roberts. Right off the bat, I had a great feeling with her. She was extremely knowledgeable and versed in contractual matters and guided me every step of the way through the entire process. She raised extremely important issues that I would never have considered had I proceeded by myself and has already saved me more time and money than I can relate. Also, she was very generous with her time and spent a lot of time with me upfront getting to know me and learn about my needs before I even retained her. Most of all, she never nickle and dimmed me, charging me for every little thing along the way in order to pump up my fees. This is a rarity that I really really appreciated about her and unheard of in New York in my experience. There are so many firms out there that really take advantage of the little guy and I can tell you the Ms. Roberts is NOT one of them..... I highly recommend Ms Roberts to anyone with a contract dispute or who needs a great attorney who is highly competent, effective , gives you a great over all feeling and who treats you very fairly at the end of the day. I promise you you will NOT regret this decision.

I have been using ZR Per diem for about a year now. I am very happy with their service and professional reports. I have hired them to cover many Depositions and they always have an attorney to handle the matter professionally. Their platform is very user friendly and I love that I never have to worry if they are going to have someone to cover it or not, there is always an attorney available. Their customer service is also very responsive. The only suggestion is that they should try to get some Spanish Speaking attorneys to cover depositions.

Unlike Per Diem Services Inc which significantly over charges (and has tried to rip me off a few times), ZR is professional, reasonably priced, and reliable. They got me the emergency hearing for the restraining order against my boyfriend like on the next day. It was a great relief and now I can sleep in peace with my child. The attorney was also very patient with me when I had so many questions and the wait for the virtual hearing was bad in the morning. Personally, I did not have as satisfactory of an experience than all of the people under these reviews. During my consultation, I was promised we were going to go as hard as we could to help me in my case to issue an order of protection against an ex boyfriend who was stalking and harassing me... the consultation went great, but after the hearings began, Sun Suh was not responsive at all, nor did she try to reassure me about my situation - just no sense of urgency. I was constantly under a cloud of anxiety, and she would always refer to the case as "your case". "There was never any moment where she made it feel like we were unified in fighting the case together. I would go a week following up with her several times via calls and emails with zero response until moments before our hearings - during our hearings she would come off very hesitant. I spent days and hours digging through photos, social media pages, text messages to compile for her and did not see any of that reflect during our hearings. I now have to revert back to living in fear - I am honestly very disappointed in this experience and truly felt like I could have defended myself better.

I was just served a summons from Morse Geller representing a car finance company . I called back in May and I was basically threatened over the phone to come after my income if I didn’t settle over the phone which is harassment. This law firm states they represent consumers , but I’m they’re in fact representing the company that financed my loan which is commercial . The index number to look up to confirm this is 709315 (queens county ). I will as I’ve stated back in May hire an attorney to represent me to the highest extent . I most definitely don’t recommend this firm that is misleading to the public .

Mr. Weiner and his team were definitely a godsend. I lost everything due to a gambling addiction back in 2015. I owed just about every casino in Vegas and on the east coast with threats of lawsuits and arrest. I sought counsel from many firms and they all told me things I didn’t want to hear. When everything felt hopeless my wife found Mr. Weiner’s firm online. He and Mr. Musso helped negotiate my debts, stay in my house and give me a second chance. I didn't get a single bill for months after Bruce was engaged for a bankruptcy auction and was shocked when he suggested that he'd used up the retainer (or even half).
"I am not going to go line by line with you, just take this as not agreeing with anything you say. There is no reason for further discussion."
So completely unwilling to return any of the retainer nor to speak directly in support of the unsupportable bill. He mailed in the work and stonewalled any discussion (via email).. and has not returned calls.

I found Ms. Richards to be highly unprofessional, highly unethical and highly prejudicial in the execution of my parent's estate.
In my opinion, resorting to threats and bullying in an attempt to intimidate a particular beneficiary is beneath the conduct you would otherwise expect from a member of the Bar Association.
To be clear, I was not "unhappy with my parent's estate", I was shocked by Ms. Richard's behavior.
Her handling of the estate relative to administration and advice given was deplorable, and in no way represented what my parents would have wanted. If you're in the market for an estate attorney that you can trust to do the right thing upon your passing, I recommend that you look elsewhere.
I would not have even given Ms. Richards a "1 star" review, but Google doesn't accept anything less.

I hired this guy to take a case for me. I would be inconvenienced because rarely did he ever show up to court dates. However, he told me the judge would agree that I do a 8 month stretch in county jail and the case would be over.. Well once I hit my 8 month mark I was not presented to court. I called John numerous times and he would not return my calls or come visit me to tell me what was going on. 2 months later I was then produced to court after a total of 10 months was spent in jail, only for him to tell me.. "Now you have to do 5yrs probation". This was not the deal of course. I felt rail roaded. I was lied to, and swindled out of money. John works in a very unprofessional manner. I recommend you look elsewhere for competent council.

Our experience with Mr. Cabrera did not go very well at all. He was very rude, impatient and aggressive over the phone when he DID actually make time to speak with us. 90% of the time, we spoke to his assistant who could not answer our questions. Very disappointing experience, so we chose to work with another practice. The experience was daunting enough, but working with an attorney who was not respectful or considerate made things worse.

am disgusted by Rand Schwartz If I could leave 0 stars I would. I acquired Rand as a divorce attorney, he charged me 4k and said he would help me being that he worked on my accident case a few years back, little did I know it was going to be the worst experience in my life. Rand hit me with a bunch of hidden charges two years later. I am currently on workmancIomp. He charged me $2500 on top of taking my 4k from the beginning. I thought I could trust him and he took advantage of me. Never trust a lawyer/lier. He had the nerve to say to me when I get back to work I can pay him. Please stay away from this attorney he has no sympathy for his clients. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!! I HAVE BROUGHT BUSINESS TO THIS LAW FIRM AND THIS IS THE THANKS I GET!!!!
