Fraud! Was awarded a 22K settlement and received fraudulent paperwork claiming Epstein credits of 21K to my ex. The law firm stole 21K. For this you will be disbarred and indicted. Contacted the ex and she said she sent a check to the attorney for 22K. I do not endorse this law firm for anyone seeking legal services. Contacting the California Bar first thing Monday. Rios and Rios is by far the most ethical and compassionate Family / Divorce law firms I could find. Ron Rios did an excellent job representing me in one of the most stressful times of my life. He was strategic yet conservative. He did not take advantage of the situation by over-billing and dragging my case on as most attorneys do. Ron consistently tried to work toward a quick resolution. Also, Sarah (the secretary) was patient and calm while directing me in gathering proper documents throughout the process. I would recommend anyone needing a Divorce / Family law attorney to consult with Ron as he is a Top Notch attorney in his field.

Like some of us do, I found myself having a wonderful child with a not so wonderful partner. Soon enough the relationship went from terrible to worse, and I needed to get a custody order in place. Because of the complicated nature of child custody, I was referred to Nathan.
As it turns out, Nathan is the kind of attorney you can only hope is on your side of a child custody case. He walked me through every step of the process. Within days of our first phone call, I was reviewing a Request for Order. He walked me through the Declaration of Income and Expense Reports, the Plaintiff's responses. He explained in detail what each and every word meant.
During the deposition, Nathan was more prepared then I could ever have imagined. He was direct and pointed, and extracted information that would be very helpful during court.
Within months of serving an RFO, I quickly learned that I had been served with a restraining order. Scared out of my mind and spinning in circles, Nathan helped me navigate through it. Not only was he my lawyer, but he came a confidant. He helped me with the visit from the sheriff's department and the painful supervised visitations.
The week prior to my first court date, I spoke to Nathan everyday about what the court proceeding would be like. He was very honest with me and told me that there is nothing you can do to prepare for testifying in a child custody case. He was right. There is nothing like it that I have ever experienced, but because of the relationship we had developed over the course a few months, it more was like talking to a friend across the table instead of sitting in a courtroom.
On Nathan's cross examination, he was able to discredit the Respondent and get the restraining order removed.
If you ever find yourself in my situation, I would highly advise that you hire Nathan. He is a great lawyer, he cares, and he will argue your case until he is blue in the face. I would give him ten stars if I could.

Mr. Gabbard is an highly strategic and thoughtful attorney who helped me with a difficult divorce case. He has a passion for the law and is genuinely concerned with justice which comes across while you work with him. I actually had another attorney before him but had to terminate him and found Mr. Gabbard through a referral. He came through and turned my case around and we eventually settled. So as you read all the reviews about this guy, ask yourself if you want a nice, polite attorney? Or do you want a shark who fights for your rights? If your opposition is a great person you have a lovely relationship with, and their lawyer is a wonderful person too, give Mr. Gabbard a try. Or just DIY it if it's that simple. Bit I would guess that most people looking for this type of attorney really need help. If that's you, and especially if losing your case will seriously wreck your life and your loved ones' lives, then RUN from Mr. Gabbard. He literally snatched defeat from the jaws of victory in my case. I've spent the last several months and a lot of $ trying to recover, and it looks like I probably never will. This guy ruined my life--not just figuratively, but literally.

Dena is the 3rd and final attorney we consulted and retained. We had two terrible experiences before finding her. We have been in a long time custody battle that includes an abusive/neglectful mother. Dena is experienced (at life as well as law) and was able to provide us and our children the help we needed. Unfortunately we will need to retain her again here shortly but we feel hopeful because Dena is excellent. Highly recommended, very knowledgeable about helping families (especially kids) who suffer abusive relationships.

His team did a fantastic job for our family; they went above and beyond a transactional financial client-attorney relationship. They were professional, honest, and importantly, showed genuine interest in our family’s well-being.
I was facing child endangerment criminal charges, because of allegations by a school mandated reporter. Unfortunately, this is a parent’s worst nightmare, because these allegations can destroy careers and families.
Mr. Grech successfully persuaded the DA to dismiss the original charges in exchange for disturbing the peace infraction (PC. 415(2)) and a nominal fine. Only an attorney of his caliber (30 years+ experience) would have got this outcome.

I would never recommend anyone to use Emily as their attorney. I hired her many many years ago to represent me for my child custody/ support case and she did nothing to help me. I did all the leg work by providing her all my documents, going to the court to retrieve old documents from previous cases with the father of my children. The day of court she showed up with no paperwork, good thing I was prepared and had a copy of the whole case with me that she used. After months of not hearing from her with an update she informed me the judge threw out my case due to the other parent having outstanding violations and that I could pay the tickets myself to live forward which turned out to be a lie years later. I went to the court to try to proceed with the case on my own and the staff thought I was crazy and advised me to fire my attorney because they hard record she showed up to court on an unknown date and represented me and the judge did actually grant me full custody and child support which I did not know about for years. When I asked for the final documents they informed me the child support will not be valid since the attorney filed the order after hearing incorrectly and left off the child support but it was mentioned in the minute order. Per the court staff I would have to refill all the paperwork and serve the other parent again and go before a judge. It’s impossible for me to serve the other parent as he is in jail far away and financially I do not have the funds nor time to do this as this has been a case going since about 2013. Do not waste your time or money because you will be left doing the attorney work on your own.

I can not recommend Nahjabi enough. I was involved in a horrific DUI accident, and was facing around 5-6 years of county jail time. She was able to have my sentence reduced to 60 days, with probation and some community service. I had no idea that type of sentence would even be in reach for me. In the middle of trial the man handed me phone in the holding cell and told to speak to my wife about taking a deal. Now what makes him great is that I understood that if he is doing that the sheriff, da (Morris) and the knew because he would not risk his livelihood for a kid out south central. So if you get him as a state appointed let him juice it.... He will get a deal from th D.A. he went to school with to keep his buddy's #'s up.

I had been in great suffering, mentally , at the thought that I may have had an outstanding warrant. It was pure paranoia because of a chance conversation. I called Mr.Swarth out of pure desperation and mental anxiety, he scoffed at first (as anyone would) but he checked my file free of charge, on a hunch of his , I guess, anyway, turned out I had a warrant and he called me immediately to inform and counsel me as my intuition was true!!!!! It took 2 days and the payment of a fine.....$50,000 WARRANT...Lifted, gone. AND...AND 5 years of probation with really stiff constrictions...GONE!!!!! And He has filed to have my record expunged!!!!! I have no idea why people do not like lawyers...This guy is a CLASS ACT!!!! ...He even bought me a coffee at court and offered to hold my cellphone as the bailiff had a problem with me .....A1 guy and EXCELLENT lawyer!!!!!

There are awesome persons and there are awesome attorneys. . Rarely do they ever correlate. My opinion, but I believe a awesome attorney should be willing to go to any length to win for their clients. That's assuming the client is guilty, however.. And if the client is truly innocent then "going to any length" really isn't necessary, due to the facts will back their innocence. A decent lawyer would do. Rockit isn't just decent. Truly she's one of the few attorneys who's awesomely aware, compassionate, and lovely disposition. . A perfect match for a defendant that's truly innocent.. It was truly a pleasure having her as an attorney. . I feel lucky.

Smart, professional, organized, and treated me right. Can't believe I got her as a PD. She fought hard for me and she believed in me. I'll always be grateful. From day 1 in court she was very Nice and took care of my case like no other!. I guess im the only 1 that got screwed. They literally switched lawyers on me 3x in my child support hearing and in the process ran my tab up to have me where i now owe them and by the time my court case arrived i had nothing left in the account and they wanted more money in order to appear. I literally accomplished absolutely nothing with this lawfirm and ended up having to represent myself on the court day because they bled every dime plus out of the 3500 i gave them on everything other than getting the job done. Dont waist your money!

I had a TRO filed against me steaming from an HOA dispute.
I was searching for attorneys online and came across a few, 1 never responded back, 1 responded a day later by which time I had already selected one, and another 2 were very sharp - but lt sounded like they were trying to sell me on a hefty legal fee. Attorney Brian Micheals returned my call promptly and after a short discussion I realized I’m in the right place. He was not trying to sell me anything, just gave me the facts and I liked that. His price was reasonable and I signed up with him. In court he was just a star, the ferociousness that he defended me made me feel really comfortable. His cross examination of the witnesses just killed it, witnesses were caught lying and the case was promptly dismissed with prejudice.
Brian is a real PRO, I could not be happier.

Wow! Wow, is literally the first word that comes to mind! Dawn has represented me for two years in two separate court appearances in front of the judge. Both times she annihilated my ex! What she does is a work of art. Literally, a subject matter expert in all things custody, and DOES NOT back down. She is a bulldog that commands the court room and demands respect.
When you make the decision to call Dawn, know this, she is not your friend; she is your attorney. She will tell you like it is and she makes sure she has YOU and YOUR CHILDRENs best interest at the forefront of her mind at all times. Like it or not, she tells you the truth, she tells you what you NEED to hear and not what you WANT to hear. (This is crucial when fighting for custody) You have to learn to let go of the reigns and let her do her job. You won’t regret it. She is incredible to watch.
Her staff runs like a well oiled machine. Everyone has a job and they all perform their jobs with incredible professionalism. I have never been so informed and kept up to date on every aspect of my case. When asking for choices and/or advice I was always given ALL of my choices (good, bad or indifferent). I always had the final choice/decision, and I was always supported no matter the choices I made.

Edward Ajlouny claimed himself being very experienced in his field and failed my case completely- he didn’t do any discovery, didn’t submit any documents to the court, didn’t subpoena the documents he supposed to get for the court, he didn’t explain the laws. He charged money and never returned anything. He was constantly on vacations. Then he said these cases are not appealable and I filed for the appeal. After he didn’t want to give the case materials and go over the trial results -
The appeal is not a new trial - what I have now on the appeal is your work I will have to go over.
I respect my time and efforts. I am also a lawyer. As a fact, you didn’t do your job for my case. You have two weeks since today - if you don’t comply with the laws, I will do what I said.

Worst experience with an attorney in my entire life- I couldn’t afford to pay his exorbitant costs anymore and as such he said he was dropping my case
Instead he continued to work behind my back with my ex husband and his lawyer for 3 months and attempted to have my son taken away from me
He never once made any contact with me or my children or ex lawyer to hear anything we had to say
Worst parenting coordinator in Sonoma County by far
Don’t use him unless you want to give him all of your money to get him on your side
Otherwise he leaves you out to dry

I spoke to attorney Tyler Smith around October 17, 2023 and Tyler agreed to represent me in an ongoing lawsuit. I was prepared to execute a retainer agreement and pay a $10,000 initial retainer fee. I told Tyler I would call him the following week to set up an appointment to complete the paperwork. The following week I called and emailed Tyler, but he did not get back to me. Literally at the last possible moment he breached his oral agreement and refused to represent me. I'm going to file a State Bar complaint. This is outrageous!¹

When it became clear I was going to need a divorce attorney, like most I asked around for recommendations. Bill came highly recommended and has not disappointed me once. At the initial consultation he listened and was very clear on what to expect. Bill came across as knowledgeable, honest and most importantly reliable. My initial overwhelmingly positive impression of both he and his staff has never faltered. During the course of my divorce I would often get calls or emails on the weekends or after hours from Bill or a member of his team. My divorce has ran longer then most and I have consistently received the highest quality representation from an attorney and staff who I believe genuinely care.
I also think it is important to add that my preconceived notions of how a divorce works and the reality of the situation were very very far apart. Bill took the time to explain to me on several occasions the reality of the situation...I would argue with him..he would quote case law and give me examples very patiently and set me straight. I recently joked with a friend of mine I have a love/hate relationship with Bill Bratton. I honestly believe that my divorce could have been an unmitigated disaster given its contentious nature. Hiring Bill is the best decision I made during the arguably worst period of my life. I do hate that he has been right about everything...lol, his advice and guidance has been on point from day one.
I have also taken the time to watch Bill work. When we have been in court I made it a point to watch him interact with other attorneys and even in court twice representing other clients. He demonstrates his vast experience with ease and clearly still has a passion for what he does. Bill is a master at his craft.
I will close as I started...Bill Bratton is the best decision I made during the arguably worst period of my life.

On the recommendation of my previous divorce attorney (who no longer practices family law) I went to Bratton, Razo, & Lord. After a consultation my case was taken by Mike Razo. Mr. Razo has a very professional and calm demeanor; don’t let this fool you, he’s there to win. When our case finally went to trial Mr. Razo was incredibly well prepared and focused. One of the things that I appreciated was that Mr. Razo doesn’t get involved in personal character assassination and unnecessary drama. He fought my case with the facts and the law. The office staff at BRL is always friendly and professional. My e-mails and phone calls were always promptly answered.
