I had the privilege of working with Ralph Santoro at the office of Goldberg Jones over the course of the last year and a half. Ralph was simply outstanding, if I could recommend an attorney to anyone going through the same divorce and custody struggles that I went through, I would recommend Ralph any day of the week.
For starters, Ralph has never been one to shy away from conflict with the opposing party, a lot of attorneys will often times take the path of least resistance when it comes to fighting for their client. However, this was not the case with Ralph, he secured the custody agreement I wanted and got favorable terms for my divorce. It was an absolute pleasure getting to know Ralph on a personal level as well. He is truly an amazing guy all the way around.
He is very knowledgeable on current case literature and knows how to make the process as smooth as possible.

Ralph helped me get through what was supposed to be an amicable divorce but turned out to be very nasty. He was extremely knowledgeable, always on time with requests, and quick to get back to me anytime I contacted him. He made me comfortable knowing that his goal was not to make as much work as possible in order to gain more hours from me. He often discussed various options in terms of the amount of work necessary and what it would cost me, but did not push me to do anything I wasn't comfortable with. I highly recommend Ralph for any divorce/family law needs.

Why do i recommend her so strongly? My Divorce case started in August 2017, and at that time I was represented by another attorney, but within one month I switched on to another attorney (Not Asha). Why?
My previous attorney was totally unprofessional, and would be on time with invoice but no progress in the case. So, I chose another lawyer and that lawyer just made a mess of my case by making delay in submitting document, and moreover the stipulation which we made were a dark web to ensure that my case runs for a long time and the attorney can keep running the invoices. Moving further 1 year into my case with no progress, I reached out to Asha again, and lucky me, she accepted the case. That was the first best step in my case which i took..
I myself give 100% in work and i feel actions are better than words. But the other attorney's were primarily words and gave only 5-10% of effort what i would expect. I am not a lawyer, but as you go with your case, you start seeing the positive / negative of the strategy which your lawyer recommends / adopts. I was getting impatient and my anxiety of what should be done was increasing and taking a toll on me. So, with the hope that may be Asha is the right attorney, i decided to talk to her. Also, I got recommendation of her from one of my colleague where Asha was the opposing counsel. She is awesome, that's why someone recommended the opposing counsel!.
Oh man, believe me, Since the day Asha took over my case, I never had to worry about my case at all. I am not exaggerating but her professionalism, timeliness and ethics would make it easy for you to worry less / none about the case. I am fan, and in awe of Asha's professionalism, she is the best attorney one could get.
What I got?
- All the documentation was thorough, thought through and ON TIME.
- She reviewed the existing case documents, sat with me and explained how we are going to tackle the existing issues. (Some of them created by previous attorney's)
- She is very transparent and will keep me looped (in bcc) with the emails to opposing counsel. This instils huge trust as you believe / see what is going on vs Oh i spoke and this is what the other counsel said.
- Every email I sent, i got a quick and satisfactory response. This reduces the number of emails which you send and keeps your brain content. She might respond, that I will get to you by xxx day, but that will keep you content and she will definitely respond. (No bluffs from her side at all on timelines)
- We prepared for trial thoroughly and since that day, my communication to her is very little, because she has already covered everything, now for our hearings there is little or nothing to discuss. Our preparation is well in advance.
- Proper billing, Every penny is worth. 100%.
- Results: In my case, there were couple of things
1. 50% Child Custody - Before i filed divorce, my wife didn't let me see my daughter at all, for one year she was away and gave me no access to our kid. When she came back to US, i had to fight to get the custody.
2. Date of Separation was contested - We got the DOS which we wanted. This has huge impact in support / alimony calculation.
3. Property - This is on-going, I am fully satisfied with the strategy.. Let's see how the Judge rules it.
4. Bifurcation - My previous lawyer got me into a serious mess, and since I am an immigrant, there were immigration issues because of which Bifurcation became a challenge. Asha's persistent approach has brought bifurcation on the table now, Judge agreed to grant bifurcation. That is a great win! Because my wife, wants to extend the case forever..
4. Anti-Injunction granted
- Lastly - PEACE. Most Important.

Christian Conrad and his entire team are some of the most caring and dedicated people I have ever met in my entire life. You go into these horribly traumatizing situations in life and have to rely on strangers, and what a gift I was given these incredible bearers of light during this horribly dark time. You can count on Christian and his team to genuinely care about your case. The office is organized, well managed, and everyone there makes sure you never fall behind on your case. The office is beautiful and serene. They send copies of what they file, and you’re always informed as a client. I hired Christian Conrad on the recommendation of a friend. Christian has to dive into a complex and agonizing custody battle due to the lies and false allegations from my ex-husband. Even with the documentation I provided the court to substantiate the lies and false allegations, the Judge ruled in favor of my ex-husband who has a criminal record and an unstable home life. I came into contact with Rebecca by accident. I am dealing with a high-conflict child custody case in San Diego County. Very serious events have occurred which I do not want to share publicly that required assistance from Rebecca. Rebecca represents the Mother of a child my ex-wife has allegedly kidnapped. The child has been missing since November and is still missing. There are many different law enforcement agencies involved, as well as three different courts in three counties regarding child abduction. Rebecca has gone above and beyond to research issues related to this case and provide me and her client with guidance as it relates to informing the court of the facts and getting all counties and all law enforcement on the same page. Rebecca is intuitive and very smart. She is honest and exercises integrity when dealing with me and other people. Rebecca can be curt and straight to the point which initially threw me off. I felt her tone was aggressive with me. Then when I realized who she was and what part she plays in these cases; I understood her intensity. She literally cross-examined me when she found me. Yes, she found me! While doing research on her kidnapping case she traced several relatives of the alleged kidnapper. Rebecca has laser focus. I hired Rebecca to represent me in a high-conflict child custody case in Riverside. I was looking for an attorney that would stand up for me, and make all of my evidence known to the Judge. Rebecca filed motion after motion for me until the court finally made a decision in my favor. I am dealing with a severe parental alienation case. Rebecca fought hard so that the court would HEAR what I was trying to say. Communication with her office is very easy. The office’s procedures make it efficient and quick to get questions answered and get updates on my case. All documents are forwarded to me for review. The only issue is that Rebecca is on the pricier side. However, her reputation in the community, her relationships with everyone from the court staff to the janitor, make the court appearance so much less stressful. You really do pay for what you get. My prior attorney charged much less but I ended up paying just as much as Rebecca charges because their office was inefficient, disorganized, and just not up to my standards. It seems like that is the norm for most firms. Not Rebecca’s firm. Those girls are a team and it is evident that they work very well together. Rebecca knows the law cold. I wish there were more stars to give Amanda. She is by far the best attorney in California!!! What should have been a simple divorce turned into a year and a half long nightmare. I live in Virginia and was having to fight a divorce all the way in California. I was so scared not being able to meet with my new attorney face to face and only had 30 days to find someone after I was served. I found Amanda within a few days of searching and sent her an email letting her know my situation. That same day she e-mailed me back. Be 100% open and candid with her because she’s YOUR ADVOCATE. She’s young and aggressive but she’s also very realistic. She will set realistic expectations from the BEGINNING. If you want to be told what you ‘would like to hear’ instead of what you absolutely NEED to hear then hire someone else. A couple years ago, I had my previous employer fire me based on my health. I immediately reached out to Houman and his team and they welcomed my case. It was a long journey, but Houman and his team kept in contact with me consistently. I even was able to text him, often, asking about any updates from his end. He always kept me in the loop and I was never a step behind. His paralegals also were amazing. Anything I write about Roseline will only be an understatement. I can't be lucky enough to have her represent my case. Seriously. I called around to others in the area- having never been arrested, in jail or anything like this before, I didn't know what to expect. The first person I called was rude, he had been practicing DUI cases in Monterey for many years, and I am sure he was knowledgeable, but I didn't trust him the ways I trusted Jamey; right from the start, he was kind and very professional. He seems like a good guy too, a straight-talker who is down to earth, and smart.
Anyhow, that was my initial impression and my gut was right! This was one, if not, the worst thing to ever happen to me. I needed someone to walk me through the journey and I got more than I expected.
So my story – I was knocked out. I was on vacation in Canery Row and parked my car on the street set a 2 hour timer on my phone and went to my favorite restaurant in the area. Time passed, plans changed, and the timer went off, I booked a hotel nearby. As I went to move the rental car one tenth of the mile away, in to valet, something hit the back of my car. I come to learn someone on a skateboard lost control of their skateboard and it hit the back of the rental car. I didn't know what had happened, for all I knew, another car could have hit the back of my car. So I got out to see what happened and a large man came charging at me, I turned around to get back in the car, and that's when I was knocked out. This all happened within seconds of getting out to see if anyone was hurt based off the bang I heard, in the middle of bumper to bumper traffic, on Canery Row.
Minutes later, police and ambulance came, witnesses described that the man had run away. The police officer was a complete jerk, newer on the force(Jamey tells me) – no field sobriety test was given. They arrived when I was on the sidewalk, bleeding and in shock at what happened. Instead of being treated like a victim, I was handcuffed because they smelt whiskey on my breath. I spent the next 48 hours in a holding cell, it was like what I imagine hell to be like, very sad. Since the officer was horrible, he failed to follow correct procedure. Jamey reviewed the body footage and advised the Judge to do so too. Because of this insight Jamey had, the DMV through out the case entirely. Typically, this sort of thing carries 1 year mandatory suspension of license.
I had a BAC of .089, which is right at the bottom of the legal limit. Jamey told me from day one that he would push for me to get a reduction of the charge to a “Wet Reckless”(carries lower fines and not a DUI charge).
One 12 hour class later and approximately $1000 in fines, I have moved on with my life.
Everytime I thought of that evening, I would get irate. I actually have had to stop thinking about it entirely in order to maintain myself and move on in a healthy way. Sometime after the 3rd phone call or so(I have lived in a different state for over a decade), Jamey would encourage me to not allow the things we couldn't change, to effect us today. That wisdom and care from this professional, went a very long way. I needed that perspective, he cared enough about his client to provide it and care for their mental state.
That's what I will think of when I think back to getting knocked out, with no justice and being jailed for 2 days, due to an error I made of parking on the street. The kindness of my attorney, what a great outcome for a miserable period of time.

I have been searching and searching for a lawyer that could help me with my situation. I had 2 misdemeanors on my record and I actually moved to Idaho, so it was nearly impossible for me to go down to Temecula. Or riverside to deal with this. In searching for someone that can help me. I landed upon this lawyer and I must say the care and help that they gave me was remarkable. The day that I called they started on my case and kept me in the loop with everything. A lot of attorneys that I have contacted wanted to charge me upwards of 3500 and of course, a single mom, I could definitely not afford that. I am very grateful for meeting Mr. & Mrs. Combs they are very nice and work greatly as a team. Mr. & Mrs. Combs always updated me on my case. They made sure to instruct me properly on what to do with certain forms and anything I had to do on my end. All of my questions were answered and they understood my situation.
Mr. Combs told me something no other lawyer told me, he said he will show up to court on my behalf, knowing I was out of the state. My warrant was removed without me having to be there. The next court date my felony would be dropped which was another court date I did not have to attend. This helped me out tremendously! It would have been very costly for me to travel back and forth since I'm preparing for university. Knowing that, he worked really hard for me to not have to show face.

I can not thank Kirby enough for helping our son get through his court case. It was such a scary and traumatic ordeal, but Kirby was right there with our family the whole way through. We never wanted to have to use a lawyer, but Kirby helped in getting the charges dismissed as well as excellent communication throughout the entire process. Our story with Wallin and Klarich started when we had a serious accusation thrown at a family member. I called them on a Saturday evening, left a message; I immediately got a call from Jonathan Lynn, one of their senior lawyers who made an appointment with us even on a Sunday. He then referred us to one of the partners of the firm, Matthew Wallin, and after our first meeting, we knew that we were starting off on the right path in having this firm at our side.
Matt was always there for us. I know he is a top rated lawyer who handles a lot of cases, but he never made us feel that our case was any less serious or less important. I was pulled over for doing donuts in an empty dirt lot, and the police officer told me I would get something in the mail. Almost a year later, I got a court summons telling me I was to be charged with misdemeanor reckless driving and vandalism. Adding insult to injury, the DA’s office made me court date AFTER I had moved out of state for school! After consulting with and retaining Matt Wallin, I could not be happier with the outcome. I was accused by police for abusing my son. I admit that I am a tough father but I am not the "abuser" described by the police. When I was released from jail I started seeking an attorney on AVVO. Mr. Nakano's experience drew my attention. However, my stereotype about lawyers reserved me from making immediate decision to hire him. After looking through his website, I told myself "why not give him a chance, and give yourself a chance". Because of our similar ethnic background, he could look at the situation from my perspective. I came to Mr Steven Nakano awhile back concerned about a possible criminal case against me regarding an alledged a hit and run on the freeway resulting in property damage. If you find yourself in need of an outstanding criminal defense attorney, look no further than Leah. I chose the one with all 5 star reviews with an office located across the street from the Van Nuys court house. I figured she might know people there which could be a good thing. When I called her with my issue, she was out of the office as her daughter was having a baby. I left a message (crying hysterically) on the voice mail. She called back within 10 minutes and kept me on the phone until I could get set up with immediate face to face help (with her partner in the office). I could literally hear a baby crying in the background. Maybe she was in the delivery room? So the baby and I were BOTH crying--me from the mess I got myself into, and the baby for more obvious reasons. I went in that same afternoon to speak with her legal partner, Mr. Melnick, and they immediately began to work on my case to ease my nerves. They are very good with anything psych related. She went to court--over and over again, without settling for anything less than a dismissal with some community service. This was no easy task as it was a very delicate, difficult, embarrassing, case which had to be presented with kid gloves. This lady knows how to seamlessly deal with the client, DA, and judge while developing rapport in a most sublime way. It would have been in her favor $ and time wise to settle (sooner) as she does not get paid extra money when this is drawn out as it was--but no, she really does care about the client, and drawing this out eventually helped to get this dismissed. I sweat bullets for months and I know it was not easy for her, either, but she is too kind to admit it. She is calm and cool, always maintaining a positive, professional demeanor. When I thanked her, she said, "No need, I love doing this sort of thing". The fact that she apparently has lots of children probably works in her favor (as well as the clients) since she understands all the complexities that one can have and how a mostly good person can get into a legal snafoo. She is anything but judgy. Lastly, Leah actually saved my life. I was ready to jump off the cliff at Universal Studios (although I would never admit to such a thing) because I literally saw no way out when I called her. How she knew this, I don't know. Why she would stay on the phone with me when she was on leave for the birth of her granddaughter is beyond me as well. That said, if you find yourself in a desperate situation, give this lady a call. She may even save your life as she did mine:)
