My ex-spouse and I pretty much agreed on almost everything, but there were few minor details that we needed to iron out. Matthew was referred to us by a mutual friend and we were happy with the outcome. There was never any arguing and Matthew was a great resource for us. He patiently walked us through the divorce proceedings and answered every question we had. Having one mediator attorney as opposed to two attorneys made it much more affordable. I would recommend Matthew to anyone who wants a fair process.

I have never been on the wrong side of the law until recently. Heck, I don't even drive faster than the speed limit (most times). So, I was in disbelief when I was slapped with some insane charges. A friend who was in a predicament a few years back seeked Shawn's help, and won a civil lawsuit. The same friend referred me to Shawn, and he helped me to get my life back on track. We brought Ryan on after we were with another Attorney for over 2 months. During this time the previous Attorney didn't consult with our son at all in person. We hired this amazing Attorney Ryan Couzens AFTER he made an in person visit with our son. Yes he took the time to meet with and listen to our son prior to receiving retainer fee. Hired 9/22/24 for sentencing hearing on 10/3/24. Ryan knew more about the case than previous council and argued the case like he was representing his own son. He did what I think an Attorney should do (communicated) with us and our son the entire time. He took the pressure off. I just can't say enough. Our son was looking at a prison sentence and Ryan the miracle man came through for him. Our son received a short jail sentence and probation. I was in a very difficult situation where I purchased a house during the pandemic that was tenant occupied. The tenants barred me from conducting a professional inspection prior to purchase due to Covid concerns as one tenant was elderly. Against my better judgment, I purchased the house without a professional inspection and had to wait over a year after purchasing for the tenants to “feel comfortable enough” to allow an inspection. Had my insurance company not requested it, I don’t think they would have allowed it at all. Upon inspection, we discovered very extensive damage caused by negligence on the tenants part. Half of the kitchen was required to be demolished all the way down to the crawl space. After completing the work, I hired an attorney to represent me in an eviction on the basis of waste caused to the property. This attorney mishandled my case in every way imaginable. From being impossible to get ahold of, missing court deadlines, misplacing evidence, rejections of filings due to simple clerical errors, filing paperwork under my name for other cases, etc. I became so overwhelmed and ill with stress that I searched for a new attorney to substitute. I consulted with about 15 lawyers total and Tiffany Travillion was by far the best. She took on my case even though it was going to be difficult based on the errors and negligence in filings from my previous counsel. Not only was she thorough and promptly up to speed on everything, she was incredibly easy to get ahold of and really went the extra mile when she took the time to assure me, an anxious emotional mess, that she would not mishandle my case like my previous attorney. I finally had peace of mind and that meant the world. She kept me informed in real time on the status of my case and filings. She was easy to talk to and I finally felt like someone had my back. Her staff are very friendly, helpful, and efficient. We worked on this case for nearly a year and in the end, she won my case and got my house back. I was months away from having to cut my losses and sell my house at a huge loss. I can’t thank Tiffany and her team enough. I don’t know where I would be without them.

I’ve been reading this forum for advice, and I finally decided to make a post. My scores were as follows; a year and a half ago I got laid off and defaulted on multiple cards/ loans. Finally getting the hands off it. Have a total of around $42K in debt, but $18K in charged off accounts. Have a decent paying job at $70K a year. My credit score was TransUnion 510 (FICO8) in Dec 2023, Equifax 490 (FICO8) in Dec2023, Experian 470 (FICO8) in Dec 2023. Had a milestone $700, Cap 1 plat secured $1000, a random store card for $300. I was looking for a way to raise my credit score. I read an article here about a deep web credit hacker called PINNACLE CREDIT SPECIALIST. I contacted him and it was like magic, this dude raised my credit score to TransUnion 805, Equifax 808, and Experian 811 and created an excellent credit history on my report.

My DUI case was very delicate and complicated concerning use of prescribed medications while driving. It wasn't a normal scenario whatsoever and he was able to get me a favorable outcome. I did not get charged with DUI or loose my license. Rather I agreed to a 3 year diversion program that required me to continue with monthly psychiatric therapy, random drug testing and recovery classes. This was much more helpful to my unique circumstances than me loosing my license, having a huge fine and therefore unable to afford private therapy as I have no medical insurance. Instead he worked the prosecutors DA and the judge to reach a more helpful outcome that would benefit my health physically and mentally and not set me back any further than the recent traumatic experiences and stressors had already done. He worked diligently, keep me well informed and appeared in court without me on all but 2 occasions as I live 3 hours away from Shasta County. This was a tremendous help financially. His rates were more than affordable and fair and I believe he genuinely cared and understood the bigger picture at hand. His assistant was very helpful and pleasant to work with and they made it easy for me to get the required documentation to them well before my court dates. I really appreciate his help. It made a huge difference in my life and the outcome was more of a help than a burden. It restored my faith in the justice system as there were some mistakes made by law enforcement in my case and the outcome could have been a major setback. He was through, competent and determined to get a helpful favorable outcome for me. He is wonderful, caring and serious. If you need representation for a unique complicated case, I would recommend Geoff and his law office. He even traveled all the way to Redding from Chico to handle my case. I couldn't be more thankful, after 1 year of diversion compliance and progress, the DA and judge agreed to dismiss all the charges. Amen What a lesson learned.

Received a traffic ticket (Radar/Laser speed trap) and hired Phil to defend me. I gave him the details of my case and after delaying the process (which was intentional), Phil personally met me in court to defend me. He prepared me in advance what to expect and prepared me for testimony. Once trial began, his questioning of the officer was top notch, and was so effective, not only did he get the case dismissed and my ticket refunded, he impressed others in the court room waiting for their case to be called (they actually came up to him to say so outside the courtroom). I was 23 when this situation occurred. I was coming home after a graveyard shift to find my daughter awake at 5 in the morning with her mother and a man I had never met inside my home. Drugs on the table and both of them belligerently drunk. The stranger made threatening advances and one thing led to another and I ended up fearing for my life and shooting him twice. I have never found myself in any serious legal trouble before this incident but I was later charged with 2 felonies (assault with a deadly weapon, intent to terrorize). I had one and only one offer for the majority of 4 years. The court's offer was flat out 7 years in prison.
The situation being as serious as it was I knew I needed the best lawyer by my side regardless of charge or distance. I spent many hours scouring reviews and online results of every local lawyer in Bakersfield and Mark definitely stood out from the crowd. Results don't lie and Mark's price wasn't any more than any other lawyer of his caliber. I knew from our very first meeting that I had made a great choice and instantly retained him, and so our 4 year journey began.
Mark's a master of his craft and knows all the ins and outs of the court system. My case was dragged on for four years in my favor. With COVID-19 all major courts processes were slowed down for nearly two years. I believe this case was not a race but a slow and steady marathon. Although you may want your case done as quickly as possible, which can certainly happen.. I felt Mark's ability to drag my case out until the perfect timing was a game changer. Some lawyers want to get you in and out and wipe their hands clean of your case, but Mark was willing to stay patient and diligent and work with me long term which I greatly appreciated. His staff was always helpful and informative through the whole process. There were no hidden fees or agendas and they always made me feel confident in everything they helped with.
Fast forward to just a few weeks ago and my prayers have been answered. The day before trial was set I accepted a miraculous new offer which I was so happy to accept. Mark's work paid off and he was able to get the DA to offer me NO FELONIES, 1 MISDEMEANOR ASSAULT THAT WILL BE DISMISSED WITHIN A YEAR. This means I was put in a horrible situation that I felt I needed to use deadly force and I shot someone, got charged with 2 major felonies, was facing 7 years in prison, and Mark somehow got me sentenced with the same charge as someone could receive for a street fight!
If you're reading this, look no further. When you are dealing with your life on the line you don't have any room to leave this up for chance. You need a strong, experienced, reputable lawyer, who will stay by your side no matter how long it takes and will give you the confidence and relief you need during your difficult times.

I was looking for a good criminal defense attorney to defend me in a domestic violence case. It was a case of total misunderstanding and the cops acted totally out of context against my wife's wishes. Facing severe consequences, I consulted so many attorneys until I consulted Mr. Stepen Brodsky.
Unlike others who sees every case/consultation as an opportunity to earn money, the most striking quality about Mr. Brodsky is that he is very understanding of my situation and took the time/effort to help me understand my legal options and how to proceed even before I was his client. I believe he doesn't measure all cases with the same yardstick which comes from his vast experience and genuine nature to help others.
His approach from the onset was very efficient. He acted quickly to minimize the damage so that the case doesn't blow out of proportion. Based on our situation, he devised the best possible defense and convinced the DA to understand the truth in our case. He made sure that the DA sees our case with a different perspective as our situation was due to a total misunderstanding. One thing I want to mention here is that he never look at us (me and my wife) separately, but rather as a young couple in trouble. Some charges are more serious than others. But, the severity of any criminal charges could only be assessed by how adversely it affects the one facing them. Sometimes, the smallest of charges would do severe damage to a law abiding person's life. I believe the attorneys at My Criminal Defense law firm understand it better than anyone.
I was falsely accused of something that I didn't do. All the attorney's before I spoke to Mr. Stephen Brodsky, thought of just accepting a deal with minimum damage. They didn't even care to understand how much even accepting something like that would damage my reputation, career and ultimately my life.
