Wow. Carolyn has knocked my socks off since hiring her. She is very involved with learning every aspect of my case. Her communication is incredibly timely, specific, and often. I can only say, with all my heart, thank you very much! I came to see Attorney Marilyn Colon's after having hired two different attorneys who I felt were not representing me to their best extent.
On the first visit, I saw how professional attorney Colon was and as well as her team. She was surprised by the situations in my case and I remember her reassuring words; "You are a good father and you will have time that you deserve with your daughter."
She took all of my information about my case and started working right away. The first thing she did was send several friendly proposed agreements to the opposing attorney to avoid unnecessary expenses and as to not continue wasting time. This showed me that she was an honest professional and that she did not want to take my case just for the money. She knew the other attorney very well so she organized a great defense for my case.
In a matter of days, I began to see results. Her style of work was flawless. We began to defend ourselves from the other party's attacks with great precision.

The law firm took a team approach and while most of my case was expertly handled by Terry DeSalvo Jr, along with his efficient paralegal Michelle Wilson, I was also helped on a number of occasions by Alex Peterson. Divorce is the hardest possible thing I've dealt with especially involving kids. I had taste buds taken off my mouth not wanting to eat due to this matter of divorce to crying that my now ex-wife would let me see my kids.
I left her so she had an avenue which is making my life hard through attorneys to get back. Long story story short I hired a cheap attorney versus not having one worst mistake ever... Hired Andrea she gets to the point divorced in record time. She doesn't play games and plays devils advocate as she knows the system. Best thing she advised to me is that she said to me with ease. Robert is the best! He represented me in my divorce case. I’m a physician with a high level government security clearance. My spouse filed for divorce and initiated a DVI as a means of gaining an advantage in the divorce proceedings. This removed me from the marital home, removed access to my son, and jeopardized my career, security clearance, and reputation. After two months of having a lawyer who was inactive, I hired Nicole and her team. They quickly reestablished my access to the home and won my DVI case easily. I was able to walk away from the DVI case with access to my son and maintain my security clearance and career without issue. Later Nicole and her team obtained an expeditious and favorable outcome for me in mediation. Additionally, Nicole and her team established good rapport with me during the tense moments during the DVI and divorce process making the hard times of divorce as comfortable as possible. Nicole and her paralegal team have been a huge support to me over the two-year period from the time my ex and I decided to file to mailing my final alimony check. Filing for divorce while being stationed overseas (military service) is never easy, but Nicole and her team made it about as easy as one could possibly make it. Despite never meeting her or her team face to face due to my physical distance, I always felt like I had a team in my corner. Either Nicole or her team was quick to respond (usually within the day, or close to one day was the average), and they were able to work with me to set up times to have phone conversations. On the day of my deposition/mediation, Nicole was on time, ready to have me dial-in. She made great recommendations on when to stand firm and when I need to make some concessions. Even after the divorce was finalized, Nicole continued to work with me to ensure all elements of the divorce decree were adhered to by both parties.
While I hope that the issues with the divorce are finally over with and I can move on, I know that if something ever comes back up, I will have a strong team and lawyer who I can rely on.

Autumn handled my divorce. She was fast and was able to solve some hard problems that I thought would make our divorce expensive. But she knew how our judge liked things and worked a lot with the attorney on the other side so there were no delays. I contacted Guichard St. Surin just a few days before my hearing for a restraining order. I was nervous because the opposing party had a lawyer and being told how hard it was to get a restraining order. I presented my evidence to Guichard the morning of my hearing. He brilliantly put together and addressed the court with my case that had the opposing party running to offer us a settlement for a 1 year restraining order. Guichard discussed it with me and knew we could go all way and get a permanent restraining order so we declined the offer. In the end the judge came to a decision and granted us a permanent restraining order. I met Ms. Loochkartt at the recommendation of another client 24+ years ago and she coddled me through a long treacherous divorce and child custody battle. Long before the internet! I contacted Julia, when my ex had just threatened divorce. I'm so grateful that I took the time to call, get the info I needed and feel some peace. I had hoped that I would never need to call back. However, when he pulled the trigger, I was on it and Julia was ready to go.
She gave me a very realistic honest picture of what to expect, as best that anyone can do, not knowing how my ex and the Opposing team would show up.
In Mediation, Julia was unflappable!! The OC was yelling and screaming (when we they had to interact) and Julia was calm and cool. When his team tried to pull punches, she was right there was an answer and proposing things for my defense. for example, when my Ex wanted to divide the upfront alimony into two payments - 6 months apart, within nanoseconds, she agreed "with interest and here's that interest amount as of today". Wow, that alone yielded me an additional $11K in my settlement. She was timely in her replies and her legal assistant was amazing to work with. Julia is literally a Godsend-- I was at my breaking point facing criminal contempt charges on a short-term (7 year) no children divorce proceedings -- 6 years of depositions and 19 Request for Production of Documents (no privacy ever- had to provide my credit card and bank statements every 4 months)
I was beaten down and severely depressed not to mention the financial stress of 6 years of contentious divorce hearings and two trials and an appeal later-- Julia came into my life to defend me on the Criminal Contempt charges- yes, I was facing 6 months- to 1 year in jail for not being able to make money during COVID and pay the Temp Support Order which had not been in place for 6 years.. What is Temporary about that?
I was very frustrated and lacked confidence in the legal process, courts and lawyers when Julia asked me to trust her.
This was easier said than done as I had heard those same words from four (4) previous attorneys who all made my case worse-- not better. Julia held my hand and allowed me to cry and be frustrated while continuing to move forward cleaning up the mess that was created by previous counsel and a court system that was not caught up to dealing with a Pandemic.

Had an extremely complicated driving history and needed someone who could confidently manage a citation that was previously adjudicated 4 years ago.
