I took on Ms. Barros to help me in my Disolution of Marriage (Divorce). She worked very hard for me. She was always in contact with me via phone or email. She was very patient, explained the processes and was very thorough during negotiations and while going over the various documents required for divorce proceedings. I felt comfortable with her and she was always pleasant and kind. She will stand up for you and get the best results possible. I highly recommend her, she's efficient, knowledgeable, and will follow through until the process is completed.

I was referered to Che by another attorney because of a conflict of interest regarding that particular attorney and someone that would be involved with my ex during the case. so after speaking to Che I felt comfortable and confident that Che was the right choice. so i hired Che and put my trust in her fully. She hit the ground running and I followed her advice as the case proceeded. im glad i chose her. she knows her trade well. At first we were not sure of her style but after a 3 hour consultation we knew Che was the type of attorney we wanted. She listened to us and gave us feed back as well as possible superiors. Che gave us her undivided attention and we felt very confident Che would do her due diligence to see our case through to a great conclusion. Scott Boardman is the best attorney in Tampa. I retained him for my 2nd felony VOP. It didn't look good for me bc I had a very bad addiction to the needle. I owed a crazy amount in restitution, which I hadn't paid a penny on, I ran for 6 months, I was dirty yet again in Judge Perry's courtroom, wasn't working, just a total mess at the time. Perry gave me 5 years in prison. I hired him to do a modification. By the grace of God he got me and another girl who was also sentenced to 5 years a rehab program. He is always available for you as someone stated above, and he genuinely cared about my outcome and well being. He isn't like most attorneys who honestly don't care. He will fight for you with everything in him, and he's very aggressive. His name should have been shark Boardman lol. I highly, highly recommend Mr. Boardman. He is the best attorney in the Tampa area!!!

And, I've learned this the hard way. I unfortunately didn't get the referral to David Boardman until my case was underway with another attorney. There is no doubt in my mind that the outcome of my entire case would have been significantly improved had I known about, and retained, Mr. Boardman initially. Although incredibly busy, he took the time to review my case, explain what could and couldn't been done, and develop a strategy to salvage what he could for me. He's very experienced and can intuitively read a situation and respond accordingly. Since the beginning, they were upfront with timing, prices, and possible outcomes. She works with you , and explains the process with everything that’s going on when it’s actually happening so you don’t feel lost. My particular case, at one point, escalated to another case and she managed it great. She definitely sticks with you no matter the situation, because at the end , during these types of situations that is what one truly most desired to feel backed up and secure. For the past five years Mr. Mark Rubin has represented me in my two decade long divorce proceedings that have cost me more than I care to admit prior to Mr. Rubin taking my case. He has saved me income tax returns that would have been taken by my ex-spouse and even disability benefits as I am one hundred percent disabled. I would love to tell you that this was a one time
ordeal but she has attempted this three times to date and will likely try again in the future. If I did not have the assistance of Mr. Rubin I could be homeless and without proper care, he has kept me from being raped by the Department of Child Support Services and my ex-spouse as he knows the laws and he has worked for the Department of Child support services. Taking in to consideration all of these attributes and Mr. Rubin's extremely good nature and willingness to work with anyone, one would be foolish to pass up having him represent them with a man of this character and devotion to his profession. Negotiated my divorce over and over again with a difficult attorney and ended up getting my child support significantly reduced because I am currently unemployed, got a needed lump sum payment to me for half the equity in the house, and incredibly liberal time-sharing (and shared transportation) with my son (the most important part) even though I am technically outside of the geographic area. Took time explaining things to me probably too many times because most of this stuff is way beyond me - very patient and down to earth. His secretary Lisa is a sweetheart. I would hire him again in a second.

I filed for divorce in 2005. It took over 3 years to finally get my dissolution of marriage completed in 2008.
Since, 2011 I have basically been litigated against by my ex-wife and her new attorney non-stop. My other attorney (who was also a family friend) quit because she got tired of handling it and I started handling everything Pro Se.
In June 2016, I finally had enough and asked another attorney friend of mine to a family a referral. He recommended the office of Christine Derr. Christine put Kim Hamill on the case.
I want to tell you that Kim is probably the most capable, most well prepared attorney that I have every worked with.
Kim meticulously researched and countered all the opposing attorney's issues, resulting in ALL his motions basically being denied. As a result the case, that has dragged on for YEARS now looks to finally be coming to an end even though Kim has only been on a case a short time.
I emphatically recommend Kim Hamill for any family law case that you may have. I am sure she is probably just as capable in other areas of law as well but I have not personally see her in those areas.

I used Kelley for my divorce back in 2004. I then had a parental alienation case against my ex-wife that spanned from 2018-2021 where I rehired her. There were about 40 motions in family court and we did not lose one. Kelley also was successful putting together a plan where I was awarded 100% of the court fees and sanctions we requested throughout the three-year period. I have learned the amount awarded (and subsequently collected) was 'historic' for family court proceedings. Kelley is an outstanding and appropriately aggressive attorney that knows the law inside and out. In these years of hearings she remembered minute details of testimony we were able to leverage in the future. I have and continue to recommend her highly.

Kelley Joseph is smart. She knows the judges and the court staff. She was always a professional - inside and outside of court. She always returned my calls. I did a lot of research before hiring her and was impressed with her written client recommendations on another business networking site, where you have to Include your first and last name. All her recommendations were flawless and her clients said exactly what I was looking for. That's the thing I don't like as much here. Anyone can write anything anonymously. I believe what I can prove, and she is a high caliber attorney. I work in import/export and have a lot of assets. I don't have kids but had some complex financial issues and retirement assets to divide. She spent the time needed to explain to me my options, and how assets are not valued the same way. She got me a great forensic accountant. My only complaint was that she hired a terrible secretary for a few weeks then got rid of her, but that caused some delay. Once she was gone it was smooth sailing.
Ms. Joseph could've turned my case into a very expensive long term case. Instead she focused on what I wanted - speedy resolution. Ms. Joseph guided me through the divorce process and made it painless. Her assistant Laura helped me do discovery along with the expert. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a "top notch" attorney in Broward. She's the best.

I hired Kelly after my original attorney did nothing for a year while my daughter lived with my ex who is an addict. Kelly filed and got her drug tested and got me sole custody after she found a supervisor for visitation who finally saw the truth and told the judge. She also found me a sliding scare therapist for my daughter. Kelly knows all the supervision and drug testing people the court used, I highly recommend Kelly...she knows how to help kids. I hired her because my friend used her as a guardian ad litem in his case.

I've used Omar for a couple of things and been very happy with his service. He's great about communicating, which not all lawyers are. His fees are reasonable, given the cost of legal issues these days. He gives things to you straight, but lets you make your own decision after laying out all the facts. I like his common sense approach. His ego doesn't get in the way. I like his ethics. I like his honesty. I've recommended him to my friends. He's got a grasp of what ordinary people are up against, instead of being insulated from the real world.

1) Out of the dozen or so I called, he was the ONLY one who spent time listening and breaking down the scenario before even discussing a fee. He actually cared. He wanted to fight this unjust scenario.
2) My case was civil, but he approached it like it was criminal, and knew all the appropriate avenues to take.
3) He put on a clinic. I left happy and won.
4) He answered all my texts and calls in appropriate time. I'm sure I wasn't the easiest client, but he never once made me feel bad for my concern over my case.
5) I hope to never have to hire him again but if I had to, I would without question. 100%

This was the first time in my life I have ever found myself on the wrong side of the law. Throughout this process he was knowledgeable and aided me in navigating my way through the darkest period of my life. My case was complicated, muddled in falsities and obfuscation. Chris was able to untangle it all and put forth a comprehensive approach that anticipated everything. At the time I did not fully appreciate the amount of time, effort and patience he had. I also learned after being incarcerated how broken the legal/corrections systems in Orange County truly are. Our family hired Grant to save the bacon of our loved one who (sometimes) makes bad decisions. Grant made himself available to us immediately with open and constant communication. No question was left unanswered, he guided us through the entire process, informed us of options and gave professional opinion on how to proceed in a very complex and difficult situation.

My child is OUT OF JAIL because of this lawyer. He had been arrested and held with No Bond and the charges were scary and involved a gun and a robbery and the prosecutor was talking about sentences of 25 years in prison. Sam was a relief from my crazy, stressful case. I went through a tough divorce, and things got really contentious. We thought things would be easy and amicable and then out of no where my ex started shutting down accounts, hiding money, and accusing me of everything he could think of.

After being charged with a serious felony, Nicole Cotton was able to create enough questions to get our son on Pre Trial Intervention which would allow him a clean record at the end of 1 year. During that year another arrest for possession of drugs occurred which was dismissed because she creatively showed the search was illegal. A third violation for leaving the scene of an accident was dismissed by brilliant strategy and tactics. At the end of the year, all charges were dismissed. Mr. Stevens recently represented me in a Motion to Early Terminate Probation and a Motion to Travel. My original Attorney was recently appointed to become a judge in a different county so he could no longer represent me on my case. Most Attorney’s wouldn’t actually represent on these motions since they were not the original Attorney on my case, however, Mr. Stevens didn’t hesitate to represent me.
