We engaged Lambariello Smith & Speed, LLC to help us administer the distributions of a family estate. Process was very time consuming as we had to liquidate multiple real estate properties located in another state, while at the same time dealing with COVID related delays and closings as it concerned banks, real estate agents, title companies, appraisal companies, buyer attorneys, county clerk tax offices, etc... and all the while maintaining regular communications with 21 family members.
Lambariello Smith & Speed, LLC (and particularly Mary Kate Speed, Esq.) were always available to address our questions and needs regardless of the constraints and obstacles that we had to overcome. I would highly recommend them.

I was denied in my long term disability claim by an insurance company. I was recommended another law firm with who I was familiar with. The lawyer listened to our explanation and told us it didn’t sound promising, but to send the supporting documentation. A few days later I received an email from the lawyer stating I had NO appeal left.
I felt I needed a second opinion. Not having another recommendation, I searched the internet and came across Michael
Quiat. Mike had a wealth of experience and seemed like a seasoned professional. We spoke to him on the phone and he was very sympathetic to our plight and seemed very enthusiastic about our chances on appeal. He was very thorough and knowledgeable throughout the entire process and documented and supported all the facts that the insurance company had to accept the claim. I highly recommend Mike!

I cannot say better things about Eric Melzer and the team at BLKGG. I was introduced to Eric when he called to renew a trademark for a nonprofit I became the new President for. I had no prior relationship or referral/connection with him so I was a little hesitant at first, and almost had another attorney that I have worked with handle the trademark renewal. I figured I would give Eric a shot since he was the original attorney to handle the trademark, and it was the best decision I ever made.
Seven years later, Eric now handles all my legal matters for my businesses, and any other personal matters, and I have never been happier. He is sharp, concise, efficient, and tactfully aggressive when needed against an adversary.

Most people hesitate to call lawyers because they know they're going to spend a lot of money & are unsure of their outcome. I used this law firm for a problem I had with my credit card company. They were extremely sensitive to my problem & offered their services at the going rate for legal help. They accepted my case, which was a "David vs. Goliath" fight. A single consumer fighting the credit card/corporate banking system which is pretty much foolproof. With the help of this company (Mr. Robert Giasullo & Mr. Evan Silagi) they were able to win my case & save me 10's of thousands of dollars. If you want honest, knowledable & considerate lawyers fighting in your corner, this is the firm to use. I normally don't have high regard for lawyers in general but this company is a winner & I can't say how appreciative I am to this firm for helping me out of my situation.

I had to administer the estates of a three-member family who all passed within a short time. I had used the Cosner Law Firm a number of years ago and went to it to help again. The firm, as a whole, did a very good job.
The attorney assigned to work with me was outstanding in every sense. It took 2 years to settle all the estates. Without Anne Marie’s help and guidance, along with that of her assistant, Lisa, I could never have reached the end. Anne Marie guided me through three probates, property sale, multiple heirs, family complications and inheritance and tax laws. It would have been an endless task with their help. I can’t say enough good things about the firm. I highly recommend them.

Genevieve Blazini is a wonderful individual, She was kind and understanding; while also being effective in dealing with my case. What I like about her was that she didn't sugar coat things, even if I didn't want to hear it. Which is frustrating at the time but ultimately helps you plan for the inevitable. Having had experience with several estate and elder care lawyers with my mother, planning an estate was not a task I was looking forward to. I only wish I knew about Irina Shea when my mother was alive as I could had avoided one huge “plus” headache. To begin with, estate planning is not a pleasant task for anyone when you know you are setting forth your wishes upon your demise. When my husband and I first met with Irina Shea over six months ago, we knew immediately we were going to proceed with her for a variety of reasons. Estate planning can be very contentious between partners, particularly when you have a blended family. Irina Shea is the most compassionate, smart, savvy, creative and down-to-earth lawyer I have ever met. She clearly explains different scenarios when it comes to planning your estate and provides you with options so you understand them in laymen terms. She has the patience of a saint when you need clarification; and we needed lots of explaining. She provides her opinions in supporting or opposing your wishes and postulates specific details so you can make clear and fair decisions. We also liked the fact that we were able to pay her a flat fee for her services instead of hiring her by the hour and paying for every question, phone call or email we had. She is a first class “human being” who truly loves what she does and cares for people. On a scale of 1-10, I would give Irina Shea a 20.

After calling multiple other attorneys, including the one on TV that will "fight for you", and being refused due to my case being referred to as "too small", my orthopedic surgeon's office referred me here. Even though I did have some contact with Tim Dinan, who was also just as wonderful, I primarily worked with Meghan Steingall. Meghan was amazing to work with, incredibly kind and compassionate, while also being professional and extremely knowledgeable. Anytime I had any questions or concerns, she, or her paralegal James (equally amazing) were very accessible by phone or email and took their time in speaking with me. My case was settled quickly, within a year, and the outcome was so much better than I ever could have imagined. She explains everything very thoroughly, and the binder that they prepare for your documents is easy to read and understand. They also provide a digital copy on a USB drive afterwards in the mail. We worked with Renata Mizak to create our Estate Plan/Wills/Trust and she was terrific. She and her associates handled the whole experience in a very professional way and explained everything clearly during the process. The will and trust documents we received are very user friendly and communicate well which is not always the case with other attorneys based on our experience. You can actually understand the documents which will be very important to your heirs someday. They put everything in a very organized binder that includes information for our Executors as well which was extremely helpful. I cannot recommend Laddey Clark & Ryan more.

I would never recommend either Francesca or Carlye, as my experience with them was that of ineffectiveness, procrastination and extreme inefficiency resulting in high bills and no accomplishments on my behalf, accompanied by poor attitude. I contacted Francesca in late Sep 2023 to help me and my son gain control of my son’s college fund and get my ex to pay child support. Francesca was optimistic, stated that they will get to work on it “right away”, and suggested that she bring on Carlye as it would be “more efficient”. What I was not told is that I will be billed thousands of dollars for Francesca and Carlye talking to each other (conferences they called it, and that is very lucrative for the two of them, but definitely not efficient). I was also not told that it meant that Francesca will dump my case on an inexperienced junior attorney –something I would have never agreed to. Not knowing any better I took her advice. By the end of November, still with no court date or even a motion in sight, my ex hired a lawyer, who, according to Francesca, was going to give us a counter-offer. Francesca suggested we wait to see it, before going to court. I waited for somebody to reach out to me until mid-January, for nearly 2 months, when my ex sent my son’s tuition payment to himself instead of to college. When I texted her, Francesca finally called my ex’s lawyer and discovered that he fired her. I am not sure when Francesca or Carlye were planning to follow-up on the situation if I didn’t text them. At that point, Francesca reassured me that we will be doing to court “very soon” (previously suggesting that in such a situation we can have an emergency court hearing within days). However, neither she nor Carlye pursued an emergency hearing, and did nothing to remediate the situation, leaving myself and my son to fight my ex for the tuition money, but I was billed thousands of dollars for communicating with them about the situation. It took until March to get a motion produced, with the court date eventually scheduled for mid-April. At that point my ex lawyered up again, asking to postpone the court date so they can file counter-motion. While it only took his lawyer a total of only 11 days from when he was hired until he completed the motion and submitted it to court, my lawyers missed court communications, and with all the other delays on part of Francesca and Carlye we did not get to court until early June, more than 8 months from when I hired them, and at the cost of 4-5 times what my ex paid his lawyer to get to that point. Once we got to court, Carlye proved to be just as ineffective and inefficient in convincing the judge of anything of benefit to me. The summer was spent by her in an unbroken streak of failures to get any results on my behalf or to move the process toward resolution through multiple court appearances, while billing me thousands of dollars. I was left to fight with my ex by myself outside of court to try to get to any kind of an agreement about the college fund and child support, while continuing to pay legal fees for "representation" but no results. My ex and I finally came to an agreement, outside of court, with no input from my lawyers. The agreement was written up by my ex’s attorney, who was much more responsive and efficient through that process. I really should have fired Francesca and Carlye at that point and finalized it myself, but I thought that I may as well benefit from having access to legal representation. Another mistake. They dragged it out for another 2 months, with the final agreement being identical to the original + changes by my ex that he sent over the day after his lawyer circulated the agreement, but I was charged additional ~ 4500 for their “work”. They did nothing but dragged the process out for over a year, left me to fight with my ex by myself and “efficiently” billed me tens of thousands of dollars. When I brought my concerns to Francesca, she accused me of trying to shake her down and get out of paying my bills. So – definitely don’t recommend.

From my very first meeting with Francesca and Thomas, it was very clear to me that I had made the right choice. Thomas rolled up his sleeves and worked his tail off for me.
