To be perfectly clear I do not think that there is a smarter more effective litigator in the country. He has not represented me and won in federal court litigations, but also large scale arbs, and achieved results in both, as well as mediations, that well exceeded my wildest expectations. In a world drowning with lawyers, Richard truly sets himself apart not just by his superior work but the fact that he genuinely cares about his clients as people. OMG, what can I say? Lorraine was an angel sent to me during a crisis. She helped me navigate all these complex laws that can make an ordinary person feel super scared and paralyzed. If you’re in the film industry or considering an investment, heed this warning: Fred Goodman of Marin Goodman, from my experience, is not the ally he claims to be. I was referred to Fred by a trusted friend, who assured me that he was a stand-up professional. What a colossal mistake that turned out to be.
Fred promised he would "represent and protect" both sides in a deal, but in reality, he only looked out for his so-called "best friend" and longtime client, Eric Gitter. I was misled into signing a contract that was nothing short of disastrous for my career. Fred’s interests were clearly never aligned with mine, and now I am left facing federal litigation with no end in sight, not to mention a painful loss of my business partner’s hard-earned funds.
From my experience, Fred Goodman’s assurances were empty, and his advice came at a heavy cost. If you value your time, money, and career, I'd suggest considering some other firm than Marin Goodman. Don’t fall into the same trap—reach out to me, and I’ll gladly share the details and documentation to help you avoid a similar fate.

Of all the lawyers I’ve dealt with in my life Neil Flynn at Horn Wright, LLP is the only one who took the time to listen to everything I had to say and answer all my questions before even discussing how he would be paid. Once we laid the foundation for our attorney-client relationship, he gave me several options including a straight contingency fee, a retainer/hourly rate fee structure or a hybrid of the two. His bills were always reasonable and when I questioned something he made sure to discuss it with me in person until I was satisfied. These guys are real winners. They market for medical malpractice but it’s unlikely that you’ll actually be able to speak to anyone or that they’ll take your case because they are “too small” according to what I was told in a text message. They also don’t provide any type of referrals or references.

Without sharing specifics of our wrongful death case, I will say that the team at Morelli took on our family's case when other firms declined. They believed us and persevered (including through the pandemic) with the case. While it took a few years, the Morelli team was able to reach a settlement for our family to be compensated for our loss. The Morelli team was empathetic and responsive to our questions and needs. While I fervently hope that such a thing never happens to our family again, I would not hesitate to re-engage Morelli for future legal needs.

A month ago, I had FOUR traffic tickets issued to me, at one time, by a gang of mentally-ill Suffolk County police-officers—the total points of which would equal EIGHT, had I been found guilty.
I am so very grateful that I choose David to represent me in court; he was able to have two tickets dismissed entirely and the other two reduced to mere parking violations! Needless to say, I am deeply satisfied with David's excellent performance and am forever indebted to his kindness—because without him, my drivers-license would surly have been suspended and/or revoked!

I was recently arrested and falsely accused by a proprietor of a business. Upon appearing in Manhattan court for a D.A.T pertaining to this matter I must admit the taste of discuss the NYPD left with me was/is horrendous. Adam approached me and immediately upon speaking with me he could feel my frustration emanating, especially after sharing false claims/ allegations made in a spruced up report by an officer. His warm and understanding demener instilled in me a new confidence and hope of justice. He almost makes me look forward to my next appearance. I recently hired Adam to represent me for my DWI arrest on the Westside hwy. I had refused the breathalyzer in the precinct on the advice of a friend of mine that was an attorney but not the type of attorney you want giving you legal advice on DWI's. I was arrested on a Sunday evening and needed to spend the night in the tombs. My wife called my sister who is an attorney and asked her to find a lawyer and my sister must have made over 20 phone calls to lawyers asking for recommendations for DWI attorneys she advised that multiple people had brought up Adam's name and when she told me "I have never heard an attorney refer to another attorney as an amazing lawyer but even better person" I knew I needed to go with Adam. My wife had the initial communication with him but even she raved about how easy he was to talk to him. He wasn't able to make it to my initial court hearing the night I got out because he was in California on business but he had one of his associates come. Honestly you could probably save yourself 1.5-2k by not having an attorney because nothing actually happens at the hearing where you're released but I would have paid 5k just to get out of that place so I didn't care. When Adam and I first met I introduced myself said to him "after all of this is said and done, I hope I can say that hiring you was one of the best decisions of my life", and even that is not enough at this point. Adam was so honest with me but yet the way he carried out the conversation I still felt reassured that the best possible outcome was going to happen. I'm a realistic person, I know that if a lawyer tells me that there's a 100% chance of me getting completely off that he's just blowing smoke but Adam wasn't like that. He actually wanted to know about who I was, where I came from, the circumstances of the evening and things leading up to that evening. He really spent his time trying to find out who I was so that he could humanize this terribly unfortunate mistake I made. The NYS stance on refusals is no pleas and he told me that it rarely happens the first time, but that if we were persistent there was a possibly we would prevail. Adam scheduled a meeting with me to review all of the court documents and get my take on everything and also did his due diligence in trying to find discrepancies in the court that he could use, not only if we needed to go to court but also in trying to persuade the ADA to submit a reduced plea. The first hearing came and went and no plea. Obviously I was very disappointed but Adam once again, reassured me that this wasn't the end of the road. Adam was so persistent with the ADA, constantly communicating with him and seeing where things stood, I really knew that he had my best interest at heart. Sure enough, in the days leading up to the second and final hearing before we would have needed to go to court the ADA sent Adam a message with the reduced plea. No misdemeanor, not ignition lock, a license suspension reduced form 1 year to 90 days and I think $450 in fines. When Adam heard the news he immediately called me, emailed me and texted me. You could just tell he was so excited that we got exactly what we wanted. Overall, if you read this, regardless of what your DWI/DUI situation is, you will 100% be making the right decision to go with Adam to represent you. Adam, if you ever read this, I am forever indebted to you!!

I cannot say enough positive things about David and his legal service. I recently had a tough negotiation with The Weintstein Company and David went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable with the process as we went back and forth with TWC for months. David advised great strategy in the negotiation process that resulted in a very good deal for my production company. It's clear David has a lot of experience in the entertainment industry and cares for his clients and their needs. In the middle of our TWC deal we also began negotiations with Disney on a deal that was on the opposite end of the spectrum and David handled it quickly, with ease.
