Christopher handled the sale of our townhome. He made the experience so easy and pleasant. Stephanie is the type of lawyer you would want on your side whenever you are facing an unfair justice, She took me under her wings during a time of need and cared enough to further research better terms for my stipulation agreement working strategically with the the opposing attorney to finish the matter outside of court, saving me time, money and unnecessary energy. After the death of my cousin, we hired Scott Kaufman to help us settle the estate. At the time we had no idea how specialized and intricate Surrogate’s Court proceedings could be. On my way into the courthouse to testify at the kinship trial, I distinctly remember thinking, "I wouldn't want to walk into the courthouse without expert representation." I'm glad we were in Scott’s capable hands.

Scott and his office staff achieved an excellent result on a tedious 3 1/2 year engagement, which included a genealogy study and ultimately a kinship trial. Both the paternal and maternal relatives were very appreciative of the amount of time and effort that was necessary to conclude this matter. Although not a central point to the representation or the result achieved, the office could have been more forthright and frequent with their updates and case progress, particularly when asked directly about the status of the case.

This Lawyer I would use over and over again she was very helpful in the both cases I used her in,she was very Trustworthy.And to talk to her you feel like she cares and treats you like she knows you for years.Even though family court in ulster county is far from helping fathers she at least tells you the facts right up front.

As a parent it is very difficult to watch as your child struggles in life but to watch the effects it is having on your grandchild is devastating . Rebecca took on my very difficult custody case. As a grandparent we have no legal say in our grandchild's life. Frank was so helpful in explaining to all our family members the various options my parents had in preserving the equity value of their home from Medicaid and passing it on with the beneficial stepped up tax basis for us who will someday inherit the home. My parents opted for an irrevocable family trust which Frank established for us at a significant discount in fees from other attorneys we consulted with. Thank you for your patience and help Frank.

A friend recommended Frank to my husband and me for an IRS tax audit that was not going well and was previously being handled by our accountant. Frank was able to reduce our liability to 1/3 of the assessment and was successful in obtaining a waiver of the penalties. He reorganized our business and advised of the proper tax reporting going forward to avoid further audits and penalties. We subsequently retain him for a real estate purchase closing that was smooth sailing.

A week ago Friday I received a very difficult call from a cousin living in New York who informed me she had short time to live and had not had an opportunity to get her affairs in order. Her wish was to spend her remaining time in Korea and time was of the essence. The Friday before Thanksgiving weekend (the day after week connected) Cori went to her hospital bed and started the process of getting our POA and last will and testament in order. Less than a week later my cousin is boarding a plane accompanied by a doctor from travel doctors with her affairs in order for whatever may come. Very helpful and knowledgeable with my Estate Planning concerns. I will have him revise and update my pour over will and trust. I discovered there are many fraudulent DIY software out there for creating wills and I simply decided to pay a little extra and get a professionals opinion. 9 months ago, I reached out to Joseph at J.S. Fritzon Law to see if he would be able to help me litigate a case between an abusive employer and myself. He told me in the beginning it would not be a very big case however he would be happy to take the case based on the information that I provided. Over the next 9 months he was attentive to the case he was responsive to me and he treated me like a human being. In the end he got a decent settlement for me. Mr. Fritzson knows the law better than any person I have ever met. But it was his preparedness that truly won me over. He filed three motions before I even knew and I was back in the arms of my family. He called my mother 2x a day. He worked tirelessly on my behalf. I've been a client with the Katz Law Firm for almost 6 years, on 3 unrelated matters, and all of the fees have been reasonable, with my consent and all services were timely, high quality and with no extra or hidden fees. I referred friends and family who also are happy with this firm. If anyone posts anything negative about the quality service, client care or fees, they are making it up and are probably competition or someone who was trying to do something shadey and the firm didn't want to help them since they don't take on cases if a person is up to no good.
