We were traveling for Thanksgiving from Michigan to Syracuse by way of Niagara Falls. On a side road outside of Buffalo, with a ridiculously low speed limit, we were issued a speeding ticket. The only way to defend ourselves was to appear in person, in January. Not happening. Fortunately we found Mike online. He replied to us directly and quickly, and was very personable and professional. We hired him and he made the infraction go away. We'd rather have defended ourselves, but given the logistics we can't imagine a better resolution. We highly recommend and sincerely appreciate this gent.

I am a long time seller on Amazon, and needed an attorney to help me protect my brand from being infringed on by other companies, who are copying my product. I researched online for an attorney who is local in Brooklyn, and also experienced in trademarks and brand protection, and is a registered patent attorney with uspto. I came across Leo Mikityanskiy, who has an impressive resume and a long list of accomplishments. He is Electrical Engineer (which to me means that he understand my line of business and product), and a USPTO attorney. He worked in big law, and has many years of experience working with business owners, trademarking, and patent law.
I scheduled an appointment for a consultation with him, and I have to say that he was extremely professional and knowledgeable. He took time to listen to my concerns, and already had a plan of action that we needed to take against the company that was infringing on my brand. I want to share a few words about David, who handles my uncontested divorce.
He is a high-level professional with a positive attitude and excellent work ethics. He is very responsive. David is the type of lawyer who would always call you back or shot you an email on the same day no matter what type of question you have. This attitude from the lawyer is very important for me as I'm going through some difficult times in my life.

I had a complicated situation where in i had to get divorce through publication as my husband & i had not been in contact for 5 years & i was out of US for few years. (it was an abusive marriage)

Lois acted as the mediator in my divorce, and she was absolutely excellent. It was a very difficult time for me personally, but Lois made the process as easy and painless as it could possibly have been. Linda personally shepherded us, over a period of several months through the process of setting up a trust that included in-state and out-of-state property. She helped us solve co-op issues as well. Throughout, she provided a firm guiding hand, kept moving us along--it is hard to think about "after I'm/we're gone"--to achieve goals we had set together in our initial meeting. She was thorough, made sure all the "i's" were dotted, "t's crossed. In meetings, she made excellent use of every minute, covered everything. She kept in touch regularly, was available to answer questions especially by email, and just did an all-round topnotch job. Her advice was timely, consistent, and accurate. And her fees are reasonable, especially given that she herself oversees all the work and keeps in contact with you personally.

Mr Wellerstein gave me an abundance of assistance in accessing all the help available to me when my wife was fighting a losing battle with cancer.
He prepared disability paperwork for state filings, he put me in touch with agencies for Home Care.
I was in kind of a desperate place, and he gave me reassurance and showed compassion.
In the end he said he was giving back to the community and did not charge me for the work.
But I am not recommending him for that reason, it's for all the other things that I spoke of. He has an easy manner and can quickly gain the confidence of someone in need of his services. He is straightforward, and not pushy in any way. You feel like you have a hundred percent of his attention. He returns phone calls promptly.

I'm not the type of person to write reviews as I consider myself pretty low key. However, when it comes to Lauren I knew I had to let the world know about her because that is the very least I can do to show my gratitude for everything she has done for me.
Prior to meeting/hiring Lauren, I was going through one of the most painful chapters in my life. My ex fled with my child, lodged multiple false accusations against my family and me, and completely limited my access with my child. After what felt like a lifetime of non-stop accusations, I found Lauren and she really came to the rescue.
In the first 3 months alone she was able to do more for me than all my 3 prior attorneys did in one year. Lauren was always available, always empathetic and always ready to answer any questions or concerns I had. I went from being deprived months without seeing my child at all to now sharing custody as close to equal that far exceeded my expectations.
What I appreciate about Lauren is that she's extremely knowledgeable and compassionate. She keeps a cool head and is always present. She doesn't take this as just a job but really invests her time to know her client and she makes a genuine and conscious effort to do the right thing and make a material difference in someone's life as she did with mine.
Fast forward 2 years later, my entire case is coming closer to an end and I have more optimism than I ever thought imaginable. I no longer wake up every morning fearing the worst. I have my son. Had a GREAT experience working with Peter Spino on the estate sale of my Aunt's house. There were many glitches along the way with our buyer, as legitimate problems came up with the house. Peter kept things moving forward. Other lawyers I interviewed wanted to chat me up about unrelated details. I loved how straight forward, brief, clear, and profession Peter was, both in the interview, and throughout the process. He simply does all that needs to be done quickly and throughly. He also was constantly thinking ahead to avoid problems. There were no hidden costs, even with what I am sure was a more difficult closing than is usual.
