Got more of a story about how they sympathize for my situation but basically because I'm a federal employee I'm not entitled to the same rights of protection as the general public, according to them. This is even with a judgment from the county court in my favor in regards to the matter. They just simply couldn't help with the employment matter. I suggest looking elsewhere for legal help.

Mr. Jason Giesler helped me with both of my parents probate etc some years ago and he was nothing but ethical and decent. I was impressed as he was highly competent and reasonably priced. I would highly recommend him to anyone- during your most vulnerable time- he doesn’t take advantage or act shady. He truly was a godsend, as my parents died within months of each other. I had engaged with an attorney to help with my father's estate. She strung me along for two months, telling me filings had been made, documents "in the mail". Deadlines were coming to transfer assets and discovered she had done nothing at all. I called Jason and Madeline and they jumped in right away. They got what they needed from the prior attorney and had my court docs for me the next day so I could move forward with a property sale. It is with great pleasure that I write an outstanding review for Attorney John Ryan. As a non profit preschool that serves the needs of children with several different learning styles and abilities, it goes with out saying we have been severely affected due to the pandemic. Through determination, grit and for lack of a better word, blood sweet and tears, we are still standing and serving families of the community as it was very evident our unique learning school is much needed in the community.
At the end of the day, we are viewed as just another business with our debtors, and landlords and beyond. We have encountered and come across some of the most vile and unethical people through out this process, as a volunteer board president who started this organization in 2014 to ensure there was a place for my child who is a non traditional learner, and many of her peers the toll this was taking was becoming too much. When we hired Attorney Ryan, it was to handle a fraction of what we were dealing with. We persevered to move forward and keep what we started going, when disparaging emails, harassment, and phone calls became too much to cary, Attorney Ryan Stepped in on several different occasions to take some of this stress off our plate, and handled the unethical treatment and “threats” with out skipping a beat. He was able to reassure us we were not in need of meeting unrealistic demands, and took over on our behalf and was very attentive and not bothered by the grotesque scare tactics used by misc companies, and people. Knowing that Attorney Ryan was handling this, while fully keeping us in the loop, and assuring us of our rights, helped relieve a huge amount of stress, anxiety and harassment, so we could focus on what really matters, carrying our mission forward and ensuring a place like this will exist in our community for years and beyond.

John stuck with me through a year long house sale horror. First, was the deed in lieu. I changed my mind (for which he was very gratuitous and only seemed to care that I chose the best option for myself). Next came the short sale from hell. If something could go wrong, it did. This lasted over 8 months. All along the way, he advised me on the best options. He checked on me quite a bit, was very professional but caring. I felt like I really had someone who had my back. This was especially wonderful as I was a recent widow. I highly recommend him and would give an outstanding reference to anyone who asked! Thanks John:)

You should consider David. A friend just now asked me about my divorce lawyer and whether I liked him. It’s indeed been years since I really thought about this exact relationship (divorce in 2017) so I was reminded to review him. I met David at a wedding of some friends in which he was serving as the groom’s best man. I thought it was great that I met him organically. I think I met with a few others but a reference from a friend is worth pure gold to me. I agree with everything all have said below. He always spent good time with me, he has a sense of humor and even though at the time, I could barely crack a smile, it frankly diffused a hell of a lot of tension. He had a clever strategy and though we never discussed it, I think I picked up on his waiting game with my ex-sociopathic con man louse of a husband. I am a get- it - done - NOW- -person as soon as I make up my mind. That’s not gonna serve you best with a sociopathic poor man who has no source of income of his own. David took the long view and looking back now I know it served me well. By the time we waited him out he was willing to take far less than originally “requested”. I was my usual impatient. But in the end, not only did he honor my request to finalize the divorce on a certain specific date (it was meaningful to me and sent a secret sayonara message to my EX), he saved me a lot of money with his tactics.

I have known David Huber almost 20 years, professionally and personally. He was the clear choice to represent my interests when I divorced in 2010. My then wife and I had been married over 30 years and had lived together for eight years prior to that. We had two adult children and a somewhat complicated estate of community and separate properties.
I wanted a fair, equitable and friendly outcome. Unfortunately, my former wife engaged an attorney to represent her interests that was not interested in a fair, equitable or friendly outcome.
David’s even and principled representation was able to neutralize the vitriol of opposing counsel while remaining a strong and persuasive advocate on behalf of that ‘fair and equitable’ outcome. David and I both understood that the problem was not primarily my wife … and after 18 months of discovery (of questionable good faith), David was able to persuade opposing counsel that no assets were being hidden. From that point we were able to proceed to a formal mediation process which resolved in one day.
On both a professional and personal level, David was a superb lawyer and counselor. He was always prepared. He communicated well the different perspectives of each issue before making his recommendation … and then accepted whatever decision I ultimately made. He shielded me effectively against difficult opposing counsel. He advocated for and so allowed a fair and equitable outcome to occur. Friendly even.

Russell represented me in a custody case. Out of several attorneys I consulted with, he was the only one who understood the law as it applied to my case. He is very approachable and genuinely cares about his clients. Although I changed attorney's mid case, it is not a negative reflection of Russell. An attorney who was more suited to my opponents attorney seemed like a better approach. This was simply my own perception and Russell was completely understanding. My case was extreme and very complex. I will say he is the only attorney I've met who had the courage to stand by me while I made a judgement call and disobeyed a court order for safety reasons for my child. He backed me and when it was done the court agreed with us, but it was a risk and he took it with me. At the end of our attorney client relationship, he and I disagreed on a particular tactic and I was unhappy with that single outcome, and because of that he waived the fees for that particular hearing. I've never heard of an attorney doing that! It is clear he has integrity, is extremely knowledgeable on the law and I would hire him again in a heartbeat.

Erin made the estate planning process smooth and pain-free for me. I had previously contacted two other Seattle attorneys who turned me down as a client simply because an S-corp is part of the mix for me—you would think that most estate planning lawyers would have some experience dealing with S-corps, but apparently not.
Erin went out of her way to double-check that she was handling my S-corp correctly. She's low-key, personable, no-drama, organized, efficient and professional, and prices her services fairly, no pun intended.
I'm confident referring anyone to Erin who needs the basic docs: Financial POA, Health Care POA, Advance Directives, Disposition of Remains, and of course, a Will. She supplies both official hard copies and PDF files of everything and also gives you tips about what else needs to be taken care of and understood, from setting up mutual fund beneficiaries to probate and estate taxes. I enjoyed discussing legal "what ifs" with her.
Erin, you really made the whole thing easier than I expected! Of course, it does help—whomever you choose to draw up your documents—if you do some advance reading about estate planning and familiarize yourself with the vocabulary and basic concepts. Nolo Press, for example, publishes some good primers on the subject.

I hired Breanne Martin to wrap up an already-in-process dissolution on a recommendation from a trusted source. I did my research before meeting with her and really liked that she also has an MBA. I feel very fortunate to have met Kokie through my son who asked the Senior Project Manager of the utility company which he worked for for a referral. The Project Manager had utilized Kokie's services for utility right-of-way negotiations.
I needed someone to complete my father's probate action that had stalled. It was a very complex probate that involved the sale of real property. When I first met with Kokie, she volunteered to pick up the case file from the previous attorney. Kokie immediately took charge of my father's estate and through her legal expertise and knowledge she reworked a complex and lengthy Purchase and Sale Agreement that led to the successful sale of the real estate. That was the "easy" part.
Next, she worked to create an equitable solution to the Asset Distribution process. Kokie communicated with each of my five siblings and proposed a TEDRA agreement that allowed some of the remaining real estate to remain with some of the family while the others received their share in monetary value. She then connected me with an outstanding CPA who worked out the dollars and cents and the capital gains issues of the distribution.
Oh, and also during this process, I hired Kokie to create our wills and Community Property Agreement. I then referred three of my sisters to Kokie to have their wills and directives drawn up as well. Kokie is a very sensitive woman that worked with compassion and professionalism in helping my sisters.
I could go on an on. I will say that if you only want an attorney to hold your hand, then don't hire Kokie. She is an aggressive, intuitive and knowledgeable lawyer who will take charge of your legal needs and work with diligence and efficiency in seeing them through to resolution.
In closing I would like to say that I have made a friend for life in Kokie and will most certainly call on her in the future for all of my legal needs.

I contacted Roberto regarding a traffic infraction that I had received while in Chelan and he was able to help me through the process of what to do next. Living in Lynnwood, I understood that I would have to seek council in the Chelan/Wenatchee area if need be and my search led me to Mr. Castro. Dennis Brislawn is an exceptional lawyer. He is very professional and he helped me with a difficult problem I was having with a suppressor I bought while I was living in Washington state. I purchased the Bronze level trust of the GUNDOCX Trust system (which Mr. Brislawn created ) in November of 2012 and was approved by the BATFE and received my stamp in May 2013. My husband took a job transfer to Texas and we moved before I could get my suppressor so I applied for a form 20 to transport the suppressor. Things became more difficult for me when the dealer I bought the item from lost their FFL. For several months I tried to get the matter taken care of and it became more difficult since the dealer could not help me . I could do nothing on my own. Then I contacted Dennis around April of this year to see if he could help. He made phone calls and advised me on how he could handle things. Without Dennis Brislawn, I wouldn't have been able to fulfill a childhood dream of owning a suppressor. I put the wheels in motion back in February of 2013 when I created a trust and applied for the stamp. About 10 months later, the ATF finally approved it and I raced down to my local dealership to pick it up. I contacted Glenn with a request to prepare all the standard estate documents (Will, health care directive, durable power of attorney, etc) within the next 3 weeks. Within 2 weeks all the documents had been prepared and signed/notarized. During that time, he answered all my questions and incorporated any concerns I had into the documents, using language I could understand. He was very knowledgeable, professional and responsive. After contacting several attorney offices, I found his rates to be comparable and even slightly better than some.
