If you can avoid family law litigation, that would be my first recommendation. However, if you must litigate, I strongly recommend Michael Morris and John Murillo. Both have represented me in court and are outstanding. I have a very combative ex (and unreasonable....she explicitly rejected
settlement offers that were better than both court judgements and expert recommendations) so I have needed their help repeatedly over the years, and I believe I have received the best representation possible. I don’t think there is ever such a thing as winning a custody case, but Mike helped me secure the desired end result.

I highly recommend the Norris Legal Group. If you want a Pitbull by your side to go after the other party, and a person who treats you with the utmost respect, Cameron Norris is the attorney for you. An extremely aggressive attorney, if you want, or a calm, confident, and respectful attorney, if that is the route that you prefer. I rarely leave reviews, but on the rare occasion when people or companies are exceptional, I always feel compelled to tell others. Cameron Norris and the entire team at the Norris Legal Group, are truly EXCEPTIONAL!!!
I initially wanted an aggressive attorney to go to battle with me, and Cameron gave me 100% confidence that he was that guy. He also was honest with me though and clearly explained what would come with my, "I want to go to war thinking". He did not just agree with me, and he very professionally explained the entire divorce process. I really appreciated this honest advice that I was given, especially once a couple of weeks had gone by, and I had time to calmed down.
During the consultation, I did not feel rushed and Cameron made me feel heard. He did not cut me off, and he allowed me to speak, cry and vent. Finding the right attorney during this horrific time in your life is extremely important. I think during the consultation, Cameron quickly realized that I was an emotional disaster, and he was very kind to me in his approach. I will forever be grateful for Cameron.
I had a consultation with a different attorney the day before, who made me feel very rushed, while I was talking. The attorney kept cutting me of mid sentence, and he was a horrible listener. This other attorney seemed to care less that I was so distraught. I really felt that all he wanted was my money. After I had my consultation with Cameron, before I had even left his office (very nice BTW), I knew that my search for the best attorney was over. I felt like I had just talked to a friend, who cared about me, that I hadn't seen in years. I knew that I had struck gold and that I had found the BEST attorney in Ventura County!
Throughout my entire experience with the Norris Legal Group, I received nothing but professional, ethical, and courteous service. The office staff was also great and everyone was very responsive. If you've ever had an attorney before, I'm sure you know firsthand, that responsive attorneys do not seem to exist. Well, I now know there is at least 1! Everyone in the office was so kind to me. Not sure if I can find any words to describe Caroline as my exceptional and talented family lawyer. At 20 years old I thought my life was over. I had 3 felonies that were all pending and going to be charged on me all at once, with one of them possibly giving me a strike. I contacted around 5 lawyers in the San Diego area that were asking me for outrages prices up front just to even meet up with me to discuss my cases. That’s when I met Michael L Stuart and he was the most professional criminal defense lawyer I have ever met. My license was suspended, so he even was able to show up at my house and discuss my cases with me and my parents. He showed up and was really professional and handled all three of my felony cases for a very reasonable price. I had possession of an unregistered firearm felony, assault felony, and possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell felony all pending at once. Once I hired him he immediately started working on my cases and was able to make reasonable payment plans and was very polite, respectful, professional, and all in all cared about me. Thanks to him, I was able to not get a strike on my record, and given a few months in prison with 6 months probation. Thanks to Mr. Stuart I have my freedom and life back, and am 2 years away from earning a college degree. I would highly recommend Mr. Stuart to anybody that’s made a mistake and is looking for an honest hard working lawyer.

I’ll start by saying that I would 100% recommend Law Offices of Atousa Saei for both Divorce and Child Custody.
My divorce involved a very minor child. During my initial consultation with Atousa, she tempered my expectations and didn’t sugar coat anything. She also briefly discussed how she would approach my case. That’s why I decided to go with her.
Before filing for divorce, I had discussed everything with my ex spouse and we had a verbal agreement for both divorce and child custody. I thought since we were going the amicable route, the whole process would be relatively simple and we would mainly need the lawyers for paperwork. But that changed AS SOON AS I actually filed for divorce.
My ex spouse did multiple really HORRIBLE things. There was a time when I thought I would lose my daughter and had no idea when I would see her next (thankfully I was able to see her pretty soon). Atousa and Hailey were always there by my side and fought really hard for me. They filed all the briefs and paperwork on time. Their strategy was on point.
Although my marriage was short term (less than 4 years), it became EXTREMELY complicated because of my ex spouses action. It took over 2 years to finally get everything done (due to reasons beyond their and court’s control). But I’m EXTREMELY happy with the end result and I have full custody of my daughter as of now (and more importantly she’s safe with me). They put in a lot of effort in all the paperwork and their briefs were beautifully written (extremely detailed and full of substance and on point).
To sum it up:

- They were always by my side
- They were always available and responded quickly
