Reckless driving case - I was in college, nervous, and didn't know what to do. The court system can be a confusing and intimidating place. I went through a couple attorneys before, and my case was not going as planned, but thankfully I ended up at Grace's office. She was very willing to help and put my worries to ease. It took almost two and a half years to deal with this ordeal and Grace has always been available throughout the entire period. Once the ball was in her hands, I didn't have to deal with much and was able to get back to focusing on my classes. She got me off community labor and changed my hours to community service, which helped me out tremendously and had my case expunged off my record.
The biggest thing I really appreciated from her was the fact that she wasn't out to rip me off. She was reasonable in her legal fees and she even went beyond what was expected of her. I think that's a testament to the fact of who she is, how hard she works, and that she actually understands/cares for her clients. If you are ever in doubt, she is definitely someone who can help. Thankfully my situation is over with now thanks to her and I can move on from all of this. 5 Stars, A++

I have around 10 tickets that have been resolved thanks to Grace. My buddy also resolved his tickets thanks to Grace the tickets got dropped where he didn't have to pay. I hired Tobie to help resolve my property settlement with my ex-husband when mediation failed. She is a highly experienced lawyer who is well versed in divorce law. She provided case law to prove that a significant portion of my income was considered separate property. This resulted in a 65% reduction in the spousal support that my ex-husband had initially demanded from me. I would have never been able negotiate that on my own and am truly grateful for her service.

My first accident was a minor one that caused me some injury. Before consulting Rodrigo, I sought advice from major law firms, and they advised that my case wasn’t worth pursuing and that any settlement would be minimal. However, contacting and eventually hiring Rodrigo, I settled for the maximum amount possible. Not only that, but throughout the entire process, he managed everything with a positive attitude. David was my rock during a very nerve wracking and scary time in my life. He worked extremely hard on my behalf during a complicated, contested divorce. I came to David at my lowest point, as a mother of two young kids who needed a way out of a bad marriage that was quickly getting out of control. I interviewed several lawyers before deciding to go with David. What sets him apart from the pack is his high EQ. Right away, he could sense my fear and anxiety about the divorce process (and the prospective cost) and helped calm my nerves by communicating with empathy, understanding, patience, and clarity. In our initial consultation, he jotted down the divorce process in very simple steps which really helped me with my fears about the complex legal system. His willingness to spend the extra few minutes to educate me on legal terms and processes in simple, easy to understand terms was worth the price of the divorce. He helped me save my house, me and my kids safety, and my sanity. David did not sugar coat or lead me to believe any of this would easy, but he made me feel that I would have a partner so I was not as afraid of the unknown. David always spoke in a calm and reassuring tone (not condescending) that helped me see clearly through the dark clouds. Michelle is amazing,
Having to deal with my legal issues was stressful. I don’t know what to expect. When I met Michelle for the first time she was easy to talk to, answered all my questions and explained how things would go each step of the way. She was always available to answer my questions. I feel like she worked really hard to help

Kelly's partner, Shawn Huston, was extremely helpful letting me know if there was any legal recourse I had against a previous landlord that was threatening retaliatory actions against myself for posting a negative (although 100% truthful) Yelp review about them. He was one of only a couple attorneys that responded to my request for advice & information on my situation. Although I do not have a viable case against that slumlord, it was reassuring to get actual legal advice on what my options were from an attorney. All I knew was that I was not about to lose custody of my children to their father. However I did not know the laws or the rights I had as a single mother. Kevin was referred to me by my Employee Assistance Program. Kevin was very easy to talk with and was available immediately. I ended up not using Kevin due to the fact that I work for the federal government so he referred me to a lawyer that deals with government 401k's regularly. I called Kevin for a follow up question and once again he was immediately available and was able to answer all my questions. If I need a lawyer in the future I will be using Kevin and I will be recommending him as well.

Steve took on my complex custody case (UCCJEA, special needs, split custody) December of 2018. Where previous attorneys had only shown me large bills, and larger losses, Steve helped calm me down, and plotted a better way forward.
He expertly navigated change of jurisdiction from Washington to California, responded succinctly to multiple ex parte motions, and eventually won the case for my family. All executed flawlessly despite less than ideal circumstances (e.g. being forced to argue in front of three different judges ... in one month). I ended up in a better situation than I expected, with minimal effort or outlay of cash.
Oh, and he talked me out of spending another $5K (with him) on what - in retrospect - would have been an 'overkill' motion. A lesser attorney would have taken my money and ran with it, despite an outcome that would have had little to no positive effect on my family.
Hire this guy, and don't look back.

We called many attorneys and left messages. None called back. Mr. Capron took the time to listen and learn about the issue we were seeking help with. It has taken me nearly three years to write this review because I couldn't find the adequate words to describe Nathalie. After interviewing several attorneys, I came to Natalie on a friend's recommendation whose attorney father retained Natalie for his daughter. From the first conversation, I knew that I was in the best hands. My situation involved a difficult husband who was out for blood, a difficult separate property case, involved domestic violence, a lot of vitriol and was extraordinarily contentious. Brick by brick, Nathalie applied her brilliant knowledge of the law to build a case against any obstacle that came before her. With regard to the opposing side , she painstakingly paid attention to every single detail and ultimately trapped them using their own arguments against them, for the win. She out smart and out wit them at every turn! Natalie is fastidious with interpreting and applying case law rather than relying on mudslinging and gaslighting. There were times when I wanted her to get down in the mud with the opposing attorney and react aggressively. Nathalie clearly informed me that we are not pigs, we use case law and evidence to prove our stance, and she was right. I was a very, very difficult, needy and scared client. Nathalie not only saved me from myself by dissuading me not to react to their egregious tactics, and instead exercised her power, knowledge and experience in a dignified manner which knocked the opposing side to their knees. Nothing gets past Nathalie. During mediation, Nathalie absolutely fought for me using legal arguments which left the mediator absolutely speechless. There was nothing left to say, I won everything I deserved! To this day, my former husband is petrified of Nathalie, I need only to inform him that I will have Nathalie deal with the matter at hand and he backs down immediately! All I can say is, God help anyone who comes up against Nathalie's incredible talent, they won't know what hit them; their egos will burst like a fragile soap bubble. I am so grateful she didn't fire me, admittedly, I was like having five additional clients in one! She cares! She knew she had to protect me and she did. Her clients are people and she is empathetic to them. If you want the best, retain Nathalie, she won't let you down, she will fight tirelessly for you, not using spurious arguments, but solid legal arguments.

Nathalie represented me as my second and final attorney for my divorce. Overall, I was happy with her services. I enjoyed her dedication and fast turnaround. Due to the new tax law, there was a big incentive to finish the divorce in 2018 and she gets all my credit for getting it done. Others involved in the process were clueless. Why not five stars then?
There's been instances where I felt the OPC had a bit the upper hand due to having more experience or knowing the law/process better. A few times she had to "research" how this and that works, as billable to me. I would have thought that knowing these things already is what family lawyers are for.
In one case she jumped in the research of detailed implications of a contract, only to later find out that the contract itself might not be valid. I felt it would have been more appropriate to first research and inform me about the validity. At least once she billed me minimum billable for forwarding an email, and later another minimum billable for reading the content of that same email. I felt billing 24 minutes for this task was not reasonable.
Back to the big picture, I was satisfied with Nathalie’s services, she was the best of the four family lawyers I dealt with during my divorce and hence would recommend Nathalie to a friend - in fact I did.
P.S. my two cents if you are going through divorce with attorneys involved: hire a mediator and get it done in one day. You will hate the outcome. But you will hate the same outcome out the court even more, as you’ll end up poorer. Don’t look for justice in courts.
