I recently went through a company called Marble Law. They assigned Tammy and her team as my representation. At first, they seemed very helpful and interested in helping with my case. After providing them all the information within minutes of their requests and receiving no notice of the information being received, I noticed they were not taking my case seriously. I would call for updates regularly. I would be given updates and timelines that never were met. Maybe it was just poor communication in her firm or maybe it was her team really had no idea what to tell me, so stories were made up to keep me hoping something was going to move forward. When I did call to confront them about what was going on and that the level of communication and unprofessionalism was unacceptable, she immediately sent me an email stating "I understand that you are not pleased with the services you have received from this office. I apologize for the delay and believe it may be best to set you up with another counsel from Marble. You should hear from them soon to arrange for a different counsel to assist you." No explanation on why there was a month-long delay for a simple motion for Contempt of Court to be drawn up and sent for my review, just a sorry and basically I'll pawn you off to Marble and let them deal with it. I strongly do not recommend this attorney or team if you are looking for a responsive and motivated group in any case.

Jarrod routinely checked in, nearly every week, even when there wasn’t much transpiring in the case due to the opposing counsel dragging their feet. I was in a not-at-fault auto accident in Colorado Springs, where I was rear-ended, and my car was totaled. After speaking with Mr. Clawson, I retained him as my attorney. Aaron seriously worked a miracle from my son who had been arrested for a DUI as a 19 year old. He got the DMV case dismissed and got him a deferred sentence in criminal court. My name is Rachel Newton. In January 2024 I hired Heather Atkinson to represent me in my child custody case. Heather and Donna (paralegal) were wonderful representation. I knew they cared about myself and my case. Opposing council, representing the other party, was Greg Maceau. In about August 2024, Heather contacted me to let me know that Mr. Maceau would be moving over to Andrew Bryant’s law firm, and that it would be ok because there would be a “Chinese wall” implemented so Mr. Maceau would not have access to my case. My trial was set for October 2024, and two days prior to trial, Ms. Atkinson was disqualified as representing me as my lawyer because Andrew Bryant had hired Mr. Maceau to his law firm. Andrew Bryant and Mr. Maceau had told Ms. Atkinson this was ok, but upon reviewing rule, did not obtain the other party’s signature saying it was ok for Ms. Atkinson to continue to represent me after Mr. Maceau moved to the law firm. Ms. Atkinson called to apologize about the situation, and I had to find and retain a new lawyer, my trial date canceled and postponed. Obviously this was very distressing after already waiting for 10 months to go to trial, and spending a lot of money and time. Andrew Bryant could have waited two months to hire Mr. Maceau. He could have notified me that I needed to find a new lawyer prior to paying his lawyers to prep for my trial. Andrew Bryant never called me, tried to remediate the situation, or provide me assistance, even though this occurred because of his negligence and oversight. All I got was an invoice for $5k for my attorney and paralegal prepping for trial, and then turned around and had to pay another $5k retainer to hire a new attorney. Not to mention the lawyer fees that have accrued for the new lawyer to set a new trial date, have a new status conference hearing, prep for trial, etc. etc. While I would always recommend Heather and Donna as representation, I do not think it is the best idea to hire Andrew Bryant as your representing law firm. It might just cost you an extra $15k to your lawyer fees.

Mr. Travis and his paralegal Dauna were wonderful in representing me in my divorce and child custody case. They were both very knowledgeable about laws, and detail oriented in preparing my case. I was extremely impressed with their explanations of all of my questions. Mr. Travis spent time talking with me about a situation that could have potentially gone negative on me with my kids, and helped me form a positive plan to present in my hearing. The outcome for me and my children could not have gone better. Their firm was also cost cautious. I will definitely hire Travis Law if I ever need legal representation in the future.

I highly recommend Knies, Helland & McPherson. Jenni (Helland) did an amazing job. My ex and her attorney were very antagonistic, liked to draw out the process, and did everything they could to drive up legal fees. Jenni was great in understanding what was happening and the likely outcomes or consequences. She avoided emotional arguments, and instead made sound legal ones. More importantly, she advised me when I was making an emotional decision and gave recommendations on what actions I could take that would be legally successful. Having someone in your corner that was willing to tell you what you needed to hear, instead of what you wanted to hear saved me thousands of dollars.
This is not a law firm that will needlessly drive up costs. For example, I was never charged for attorneys fees for anyone Jenni may have consulted with (this is a frequent tactic of less reputable law firms). I was never given a weekly 'update' that created billing hours even if nothing was happening in the case. Jenni never had me make needless discovery requests, subpoenas or motions that are typical and drive up costs.
I had a more experienced and higher hourly rate attorney than my ex, but my ex's legal fees were 30% higher because of all the shenanigans they played.
Jenni will give you the legal experience you need without driving up costs.

My name is Rachel Newton. In January 2024 I hired Heather Atkinson to represent me in my child custody case. Heather and Donna (paralegal) were wonderful representation. I knew they cared about myself and my case. Opposing council, representing the other party, was Greg Maceau. In about August 2024, Heather contacted me to let me know that Mr. Maceau would be moving over to Andrew Bryant’s law firm, and that it would be ok because there would be a “Chinese wall” implemented so Mr. Maceau would not have access to my case. My trial was set for October 2024, and two days prior to trial, Ms. Atkinson was disqualified as representing me as my lawyer because Andrew Bryant had hired Mr. Maceau to his law firm. Andrew Bryant and Mr. Maceau had told Ms. Atkinson this was ok, but upon reviewing rule, did not obtain the other party’s signature saying it was ok for Ms. Atkinson to continue to represent me after Mr. Maceau moved to the law firm. Ms. Atkinson called to apologize about the situation, and I had to find and retain a new lawyer, my trial date canceled and postponed. Obviously this was very distressing after already waiting for 10 months to go to trial, and spending a lot of money and time. Andrew Bryant could have waited two months to hire Mr. Maceau. He could have notified me that I needed to find a new lawyer prior to paying his lawyers to prep for my trial. Andrew Bryant never called me, tried to remediate the situation, or provide me assistance, even though this occurred because of his negligence and oversight. All I got was an invoice for $5k for my attorney and paralegal prepping for trial, and then turned around and had to pay another $5k retainer to hire a new attorney. Not to mention the lawyer fees that have accrued for the new lawyer to set a new trial date, have a new status conference hearing, prep for trial, etc. etc. While I would always recommend Heather and Donna as representation, I do not think it is the best idea to hire Andrew Bryant as your representing law firm. It might just cost you an extra $15k to your lawyer fees.

Mark Galler lost $90k of my money. He told me that my witness did not show up over phone or in person, but he was on the phone waiting for over 2 hours. I felt like Mark Galler and the other party had too much coordination in the courtroom for someone who wasn't represented, and when I asked for the communication record, I was told I'd need to pay for it too. They knew full well that they had taken all my money and had the audacity to tell me I needed to pay more to them to find evidence of collusion.

I highly recommend Knies, Helland & McPherson. Jenni (Helland) did an amazing job. My ex and her attorney were very antagonistic, liked to draw out the process, and did everything they could to drive up legal fees. Jenni was great in understanding what was happening and the likely outcomes or consequences. She avoided emotional arguments, and instead made sound legal ones. More importantly, she advised me when I was making an emotional decision and gave recommendations on what actions I could take that would be legally successful. Having someone in your corner that was willing to tell you what you needed to hear, instead of what you wanted to hear saved me thousands of dollars.
This is not a law firm that will needlessly drive up costs. For example, I was never charged for attorneys fees for anyone Jenni may have consulted with (this is a frequent tactic of less reputable law firms). I was never given a weekly 'update' that created billing hours even if nothing was happening in the case. Jenni never had me make needless discovery requests, subpoenas or motions that are typical and drive up costs.
I had a more experienced and higher hourly rate attorney than my ex, but my ex's legal fees were 30% higher because of all the shenanigans they played.
Jenni will give you the legal experience you need without driving up costs.

Unfortunately I felt highly pressured during mediation to settle my case and after having other attornies review my case post decree there were mistakes and missteps made with an extremely lopsided agreement, I also didn't get presented with 30 days to contest the decision, I should have gone to trial - the outcome was presented to me to be much much worse but I have to think that was not the case, and certainly I was rushed through this process with little preparation at the final mediation hearing. I had paid for a lot of reports (over 10K) - including a business valuation (one CPA opinion), an educational evaluation and a forensic accounting report, where my ex wrecked my books- there were no financial consequences for her actions instead it was a mess and the business valuation pointed this out- but she got half the business value ?? WTF ? Because I am not a millionaire but still a business owner, with a complex business case- I was bambozzled out of over 400K of my life's work and self made, self educated - working hard prior to the marriage and I lost it all property assets, high-value items, vehicles and 1/2 my retirement - to a "uneducated loser" really ? Something went horribly wrong here. Avoiding trial may be what some lawyers like to do - and this is the case here, I should have gone to trial and switched attorney's - instead I get billed for withdrawing from my case, probably for the best. The depth of preparation and really digging into to my financials - which as I was working full time - painting the picture was not something this attorney did for me and what I expected and paid for so there was a clearcut strategy, instead I ended up having to do the heavy lifting and I no a legal mind and certainly have not been through this kind of analysis before- I did it - I made it happen with all the forms and obviously there were mistakes made here, not considering business operating expenses and I AM the business - I quit the business there is no cashflow- my income and business go hand in hand, the only thing I got out of it was the business back in my name, big whoop because my ex is still extracting a huge alimony payment per month, that is NOT sustainable and based on 1 year of income - not realistic with economic ups and down- and who knows how it was calculated ?
I think that was a huge mis-step in my case, so back to court I go- again huge dollars spent here and huge dollars lost - my life's work and savings for a money grubber to take it all. Be careful when hiring this attorney and do your homework - if trial is to be avoided then perhaps this will work for you. In addition I believe - being a civil union there is less care or concern and there is an eerily similar case - another same sex couple that had the same outcome, seems to be a churn and burn, grind through the system and accept your losses. I will never accept it - and it has and is the ruin fo my life, all I can hope for is karma at this point - don't expect the legal system to help you or navigate your financial life - because accordingly - get a pre-nuptial- well of course - I expected a better outcome and instead I live with constant regret and now I know I was given a raw deal, pick your attorney wisely - if you have tons or cash or no cash perhaps this attorney is a good choice, with a simple personal asset split, but if a business is involved I think to pick wisely as I know there were mistakes made - particularly in the business valuation, there was not enough stones unturned in this case but the picture painted was certainly not the reality, like my ex was this rosey contributor- very much the opposite and racked up all the debt and spend spend spend without any consequences- yet she gets it all- the system is truly not on the bread-winners side, and it retrospect I don't think this attroney fought like a tiger to win win win- her's sure did and had a reputation of mean- that is what it takes hire mean to win.
